This may look simple like what you can do wih MSpaint.
But after playing this game you will know that this is a great platformer game.
The minimalistic of this game is the strong point.

A very fun way to spend an hour. Minimalistic but the controls are exact and when you manage to traverse a particularly difficult section it is enormously satisfying.

This game is worth every penny - and more!

For £3.99 you definitely get your money's worth in 140, it's challenging and full of surprises. This is one of the most underrated games on Steam, especially seeing as though not many games rely on the player having to focus more on the rhythm of the music that what he's doing on screen!

The only downside is that you can't save your progress, but that's not really a massive issue if you have a lot of spare time!

Extreeemely awesome rhythm game! Variety, innovativity and perfect balance. Music and style fits perfectly together. I especially like the boss design! Definitely a must play!

Great game, great music and a great concept, but for £3.99 I expected a lot more game time. There are essentially three levels with three boss-style scenarios, which are all fun and challenging, but there isn't much more to acheive in this game. If you complete it the game, you get some optional mirror stages (with no checkpoints) to acquire all of the achievements, but after that the game is complete and there is nothing else to do. Never-the-less, I really enjoyed the way the game moved with the music.

I recommend this game, it is a good one, but I don't recommend you pay full price. If it's on sale, you should definitely add it to your collection, especially if you like rhythm and or platform games.

140 introduces an innovative concept in a well-implemented fashion, but fails to fully explore its own mechanics. The rhythm-based gameplay creates an exciting atmosphere, and the final boss will tie your brain in knots, but the paltry three levels offer barely an hour of gameplay. This would be acceptable if the levels were interesting, but the difficulty is just beginning to ramp up when the game abruptly ends. 140 will make you excited for its potential, then shut down before you get to the good part.

½ out of four.

Three levels in one hour is what this game offers unless one sticks around for the additional challenge. The title screen really makes a good presentation of itself by being colorful and taking a slightly aggressive stance. Surprisingly, the suppporting music won't vary as much as one would hope. I almost forgot to say, but this game is a rhythm-based platformer if you were not aware. That's about it. Let me be clear: the game is fun and bundle-owners like myself wouldn't be wrong to give this game a try if in the mood for it.

140 is a minimalistic puzzle platformer with abstract, colourful graphics, and a groovy electronic soundtrack - which is pretty much how the developer described the game on the Steam store page. If you're cool with that, you'll find the game a blast to play especially if you have a good sense of rhythm thanks to the music giving you aural cues with respect to the many challenges you face. My only criticism is that the main game will only take you about an hour and its replay value is severely limited thanks to a hard mode that merely recycles the same three levels you've already completed but in reverse and without savepoints.

140 is a rythem music platformer that uses minal abstrat graphics. It starts of slow and easy and as you pass each checkpoint another layer of music is added and it gets a little harder. Anything that moves whether it is a platform, obstical or checkpint key it all moves to the music. You have ublimited lives and if you die uyou go back to the last checkpoint. It is a fun and enjoyable game.

Highly recommended if you enjoy platformers or creative takes on gaming mechanics. It's short (3 levels + a backwards version of all 3), but challenging and interesting. The music is excellent (if you like that sort of thing) and you really have to get into the rhythm to proceed. I really started enjoying the game when I stopped trying to time to the beats and just sat back listening to the music I was feeling it subconsciously. For a frame of reference, 140 really reminds me of the Sync level in FEZ where I had to employ the same strategy. All in all, a very worthwhile experience.

The 3rd Boss is literally the hardest boss I have ever fought, still to complete from rage quitting. Great musical mini game.
