About This Content

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior is a massive expansion pack for the best First-Person Slasher, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Featuring competitive online combat that seeks to capture the experience of truly being on a medieval battlefield. Inspired from the intensity and epicness of swordfighting movies such as 300, Gladiator and Braveheart, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare aims to bring that experience to the hands of a gamer.

And now Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior will bring the most iconic warriors from the ancient world, epic new environments and all new game modes to the already expansive base game content.

Every environment is an iconic homeland of one of the warrior factions. Fight in ancient Greek temples, kicking people into pits as a Spartan or run along moonlit roofs as a Ninja in a bamboo forest. Who is the DEADLIEST WARRIOR? Its time for YOU to decide.

Key Features:

  • All new classes including: Samurais, Spartans, Vikings, Knights, Ninjas and Pirates
  • Faster, more diverse game play makes Chivalry 1st person melee combat even more intense
  • Each warrior has a unique arsenal and abilities, which promotes more variety in play styles and forces players to adapt their strategy to the situation.

Unbalanced crap. Sadly, the game itself is fun, but it's just so unbalanced that whenever you play against people that aren't messing around, it's just a spartan curbstomp. Having 4 projectiles doing 70% or more hp damage is fun and balanced, and so are shield bashes. No mentions to pirate's shotguns. Did I mention it's an utter optimisation crap?

I do not know why people dislike this DLC. To me Deadlist Warrior is as fun as Medieval Warfare was. Personaly I like the fact that I can decimate the ♥♥♥♥ out of people as a spartan by shield bashing everyone to death, or fight drunk as a pirate. I also like being able to heal up and recover much faster than in base Chivalry. Yes, the fact that it only has one update is sad but thats what happens when people down vote the game at the rate they are doing. As for me I'd give Chivalry Deadliest Warrior a 4/5 on my DLC scale. I only wish there were more people playing it now.

Much better than Medieval Warfare. In DW the combat is a bit simpler and a lot more fun, with a lot less ridiculous spinning, dragging, and feinting. Also there are more diverse classes to choose from, so almost any playstyle can be used. Community is also friendlier than MW. If you own MW, I would definitey suggest trying out this game.

Has a very good idea behind it, and the idea of a Spartan kicking a Viking's ♥♥♥ never really stops being entertaining, but this game has about 15 people who still play it at time of writing. Make of that what you will.

so where i got now experince in this game with over 1,5k game time and lvl 50 i can say what this bs game is now.

It is completly worthless to buy the game now.. not even 100 players still play dw and the ppl who play it are just low and completly ♥♥♥'s wich break the rules and glitch the whole time or it give these trollers.. most of them are in cpt they glitch abuse everything they get.. so dont buy the game not even 100 ppl play it anymore because it gave in all the time only 1 update.. i checked the engine it gave really just 1 update lol.. so dont buy it..

After playing the original game for somewhere over two years or so and putting a considerable amount of time into it, I find deadliest warrior to be lacking greatly, both in gameplay compared to the original, as well as gamemmodes. It offers only the gimmecky hollywood style warriors as portrayed by the show, deadliest warrior. (With me being a history buff and a student in archaeology, I find the show extremely biased and stupid, as it went off of cursory information. The game in turn is also quite unrealistic.)

I cant uprate this either on gameplay or concept. Even the graphics are a lettdown. I rate it a six out of ten and tottally missable. Get Medieval Warfare, way more fun, (slightly) more realistic, and overall just a better game.

This is a horrible DLC for a good game.

Quick note before this talk about optimization is that I use linux, so keep that in mind.

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior's performance is something like 20% worse compared to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare's, and playing as a spartan is a terrible experience, due to the -20fps drops I get each time I swing my weapon.

Not only that, but each class is even more unbalanced than in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, in which they were quite balanced.

Some maps are made to be team based objective maps, but when it places Pirates vs Spartans for an example, you are in for quite an unbalanced match, as pirates can snipe you from long distances with their guns while Spartans have one spear to throw and after that they need to make an desperate attempt to rush uphill towards the pirates.
Also, I have not even played any other mode than team objective and tdm due to almost no players playing this game

Also, the combat does not feel smooth, as a matter of fact, it feels WAY worse than in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and even in that game it feels wonky at times. Sometimes your weapons just refuses to swing despite there being nothing to stop you from doing so etc.
It feels as smooth as sandpaper.

The biggest reason I rated negative is the fact that almost no one plays this at all. I think the duels could have been great, but now there are 1 or 2 servers active, and it's never a duel server, it's unbalanced Team Deatchmatch or something similar.

What I played: ↑↑↑
What I expected: Shogun II: Total War, first person (cool weeaboo-katana-samurai slasher) as a separate gamemode for the main game to cut your friends yelling "YUSH, IKUZO!!" or just to chill with bots
(vikings? spartans? pirates? huh cool even more gamemodes)
What I got: crappy game-that-launches-with-other-instance-but-still-not-a-full-game with (why) VIKINGS AND PIRATES AND SPARTANS AND SAMURAI all in one with no active servers (and no option to create one, lol) and, even more, no singleplayer option and with abso-freaking-lutely BAD animations (stab this samurai chap in tutorial three times in a row and see it yourself)
0/10 volvo gibe monies back

This is Chivalry: Silly Edition. In a good way.
I die repeatedly and laugh. I get my ♥♥♥ kicked everywhere, and it's funny.
For some (if not most) That will put you off. For others who already bought it and didn't like it, you'll scream 'unfair, unbalanced and buggy'
Yeah it's buggy, and mass brawls in this game get messy, and some low life ninja will hit you in the back while you're facing 2 angry spartans.
But nothing will bring a smile to your face quite like 12 angry samurai screaming 'dishona to famiweeee' while sprinting into a crowd of vikings

>grab some more axes
>make sure you have a badass beard
>see inferior enemy
>throw shield like ♥♥♥♥ing captain america
>throw axes
>charge with your fists because you're a badass and you don't need weapons
>punch that pirate scrub in the face

I have had even more fun with this DLC than the base game, and I have experienced none of the problems that many other have mentioned in their reviews. The following is a short list of some complaints that I have noticed in negative reviews:

The game runs smoothly at 60 fps, and I rarely get frame rate drops.

Abandoned Servers
I was able to find a populated server immediatey, and every server I joined subsequently had lots of players.

The graphics in this game are, in my opinion, vastly improved from the original. I can now play in much higher resolution than the base game allowed. Overall, it is much prettier.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I love all of the classes and I don't think any of them are overpowered. It is fun to experiment as each class and unlock new weapons as you rank up. I was having so much fun playing as pirate that before I knew it I had unlocked every weapon.

Overall, this DLC is great fun and I highly recommend it.

Playing as a lvl 36 viking surrounded by 5 pirates, cursing them to Hel and shouting, "ONLY COWARDS LIVE FOREVER!!!", as I bull rush their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ little formation. Rofl-stomp the noob pirates with my huge viking axe, then enter into a taunt animation over their dead bodies... mid-taunt-throwing star into base of skull sends me to Valhalla.

11/10.999 would Valhalla again-IGN
