Miksi Early Access?

To get player input about the game. This will help me make a better end experience.

For up to a year. More likely, less than six months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The first release will be alpha. The game is already playable with almost all of the core features implemented but it will take time to finish all of the level design, create the remaining boss fights, and apply final polish to the game.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game has three levels out of five laid out. It has all of the basic enemies created. It has all upgrade pages done. It has five attack types (out of eight) implemented. The basic game mechanics are all in place.

The price will likely increase to 7.99 when it's finished.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

I will take community input to heart and try to implement as many common or exceptional recommendations as possible. Of course I will have the final say of how the game develops but I want to ensure that the experience of playing is as fun and satisfying to as many people as possible.

RETRO ARCADE MADNESS MEETS SLEEK POST-APOCALYPTIC THRILL RIDE

Cy is a psionic superhero on a mission to save the last, scattered remnants of humanity. She is battling alone against hordes of zombies, mutants, and killer robots with only her ever-evolving mental powers to protect her. Will she survive the sinister onslaught or is she destined to become just another victim of an evil, unfathomable intelligence?



Cy is an exciting retro, roguelite arcade shooter with crunchy pixel-art graphics that's sure to get the dopamine flowing. It's inspired by Vampire Survivors and other casual, bullet heaven, roguelite, survivor-likes (Spellbook: Demonslayers, Rogue Genesia, and Nomad Survival are some other faves), ancient arcade classics such as Robotron 2084, and the upgrade system is influenced by action RPGs (like the Diablo series, Grim Dawn, and Last Epoch). Unlike other offerings in the genre, instead of a choice of random ability upgrades available when leveling up, the player has full control of how Cy's stats will develop. You can also unlock your choice of starting powers.

Early access features 2 of 4 planned levels and 4 of Cy's 7 planned powers. Regular updates will follow.
