Miksi Early Access?

We want to use Early Access as an opportunity to build a strong community, and together make GameVRoom the best way of playing flat screen games in VR.

Current plan is roughly 6 months in Early Access. But this can vary depending on the feedback we get from the community and if our planned features change.

Tools for creating and visualizing poses and gestures
More virtual objects to choose like levers, wheels, among others
More virtual environments
Stream desktop to Quest

We also have ambitions to add mod support and let users create their own content, with solid tools for reporting and moderation

The core features are in place and fully functional.

Stream your desktop to a virtual screen in VR
Bind any mouse / keyboard / gamepad input to your VR controllers, pre-made poses and virtual buttons
Load/Save your bindings and share them in the Community Library
Play any game from your Steam library
Host or join multiplayer rooms with up to 4 players (VOIP included)
Play games together with up to 4 players using the Host computer or your own

We don't except to change the price during Early Access.
After Early Access, when we think GameVRoom is ready for a full release, there will be a small price increase.

We plan on building a thriving community where players can give us direct feedback and help us developing the app further. We also want the community to help with creating and sharing their favorite games binding layouts and setups.

Known Issues

Some games may cause GameVRoom to drop to a very low framerate. This can usually be resolved by enabling VSync or adjusting other graphics settings in the game.
A few competitive games, such as Valorant, may block mouse and keyboard emulation from GameVRoom, but most games allow it. Some games that block mouse and keyboard may support gamepad emulation instead.
When hosting a multiplayer game, other players may hear their own voice getting streamed back to them along with the rest of the audio coming from the host.
Using Grip on the Valve Index controllers is very sensitive by default. To fix this, activate our custom bindings at: SteamVR Settings -> Controllers -> Show old bindings UI -> GameVRoom -> Shared binding from Really Interactive

COUCH GAMING WITH FRIENDS FROM AFAR
GameVRoom provides a new type of social experience for playing non-VR games in VR:

Invite up to three friends in multiplayer mode - only the host needs to own the non-VR game.
Play split-screen in “couch co-op”, spectate or control different parts of a single-player game.
Talk with your friends over VOIP.
Create private sessions or join other gamers in public rooms.

TAILOR-MAKE YOUR GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE
Lots of unique tools and features give you the ability to:

Emulate a mouse, keyboard, or gamepad for seamless movement in ways tailored for VR.
Bind controller actions, poses and gestures like twisting your hand or reaching over your shoulder to perform actions on your PC.
Create virtual buttons and place them anywhere in the environment to build your own control surface, then share your layouts in the community library.

STILL IN EARLY ACCESS
More tools, props and options for personalization will be added for you to play your favorite games in the most immersive ways! You may also encounter bugs that we'll work on fixing over the course of the Early Access period.
