“We are striving to make the ultimate skill-based and co-op roguelike. Early Access is the next step on this journey. Getting players in the game and providing feedback on existing functionality, as well as new features to be implemented, is critical to pushing the game to the next level. Prior to Early Access, we have been running in a closed beta with two dozen players, as well as running an open beta for one week that had over 1400 players. We are ready for the volume of feedback and suggestions that can only be achieved through Early Access.”

“It is challenging to say— this is largely dependent on the community's feedback. The ultimate release goal is to have the game feeling like it is full and complete, where we would still continue to develop additional content and functionality. Update: Based on Early Access progress, we are targeting full release Summer of 2024.”

“While the core game is developed, and playable start to finish, there is much to add prior to release. The first primary focus is expanding on already developed core features. This means adding additional worlds, levels within worlds, enemies, bosses, upgrades, elemental schools and abilities, etc. While the end-game frameworks have been created, there is much to be added to reach the level of replayability we desire. The second focus is to add additional features to the game. This includes ideas such as ability augments, powerups dropped on enemy death, and new features suggested by the community.”

“Nearly all the planned base features of the game have been developed. Arrows below denote our progress since initial Early Access release. Currently, the game features:

• The fully developed playthrough sequence, allowing the game to be played start to finish in both single player and multiplayer up to 4 players.
  
• 8→10 unique worlds, 6→8 of which are utilized in the random portion of the playthrough sequence.
  
• 29→45 unique levels which dynamically adjust based on procedural selection.
  
• 7→8 different elemental schools (Fire, Light, Ice, Decay, Terra, Wind, Lightning, Void) consisting of 42→80 unique abilities.
  
• 77→88 unique upgrades for the various abilities.
  
• 12 upgradeable device powers which enhance player progression across playthrough attempts.
  
• 31→44 unique enemies, including 8→11 unique multi-stage boss encounters.
  
• Original musical score consisting of 6 dynamically arranged tracks which progress with the playthrough sequence, and 7 shuffled music tracks for the Temple hub world.
  
• 2 multi-tier endgame challenge modes (3 options for each).
  
• Recovery for disconnected/uncompleted playthrough sessions in both single and multiplayer.
