Why Early Access?

“Early Access does more than just unlock the game; it spurs the creation of fresh, original content for upcoming chapters. You'll be receiving the full game at a discount, and I'll have the resources to make each chapter consistently captivating!

I don't require Early Access to finish the game. However, it lets me procure more illustrations, music, and voice acting—All things that greatly enhance the playing experience! It also opens up accessibility and localization options, so that more players can enjoy our game.

I've prepared the noodles and sauce. Now, I just need your help adding the topppings!

※Purchasing Early Access unlocks everything. You'll receive all current chapters, and future chapters as soon as they come out.
※ Early Access currently encompasses Chapter 1 (same as the free demo). Chapter 2 and future chapters onward will be exclusive to Early Access. If you enjoyed the first chapter, then please considering purchasing Early Access to aid with development!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Tentatively 2025. The game will be released in chapters so you can play in the meantime!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“It's not! Early Access, after updates, will be the same as the full version. I won't deliver something in Early Access that I'm not happy including in the full version. Please play the Early Access versions without worrying about "ruining" your playthrough of the game!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains all features of the full version. These include:
※Full Japanese voice-acting for all characters
※Full color, HD sprites
※Original soundtrack
※CG Gallery and Music Box functionality
※Save system that records progress between chapters

Right now, Chapter 1 contains 2 hours of fully-voiced gameplay. Chapter 2+3 will be releasing early Dec, adding 3 hours of fully-voiced gameplay. I anticipate the full game to contain at least ten chapters, if not more! Your support and feedback are invaluable during this time.

As mentioned before, purchasing Early Access permanently unlocks ALL current and future chapters. No need to hunt for updates; your game will automatically update as soon as a chapter is released.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes! The price will increase as we add more chapters. Early Access is already discounted from the regular price. There's no reason to wait: save now, play now!”

About This Game

In the war-torn land of Edyssa, two opposing kingdoms—Bastion and Crescent—devastate the continent with their conflict. With the kingdoms' armies diverted toward the war, a new class of heroes, Adventurers, arise to protect the populace from monsters and crime. You are Albert Cross, Bladeseer of the neutral party Caeruleum. Accompanying you is Alice Starwell, a prodigious Swordsmaiden. As Caeruleum's leader, raise your party to dizzying heights and etch your name into the annals of Edyssian history!

Captivating Immersion

Stories should be experienced, not told! Hand-drawn illustrations, an original soundtrack, native voice acting—all come together in a classic visual novel format chronicling our heroes' journey. Forget about text sounds, grunts or awkward silence: Everyone is fully voiced, from the main characters to even minor NPCs!

Dynamic Choices and Replayability

As Caeruleum's leader, you decide which quests to accept and whom to forge bonds with. Align yourself with a kingdom to gain powerful allies and access to their formidable armaments. Will you employ Crescent's magical contraptions or Bastion's technological marvels? Alternatively, you could try carving your own path forward, in an attempt to unlock your latent powers…

Each route in Empyreal Dawn features unique experiences and endings, ensuring every playthrough is rewarding. Be warned: not all fantasies end like fairytales! One character's salvation may be another's downfall.​

Original Fantasy Soundtrack

Scored by Japanese composer "ruha," Empyreal Dawn features original songs that invoke the wonders of exploring a fantasy JRPG world. Rejoice in humanity's majesty with Crescent's regal strings, or partake in brooding contemplation with Bastion's haunting percussion! Or, drift into a pleasant, afternoon reverie with Alice's gentle woodwinds.

English/Japanese Localization

No content changes and no region locks: receive the uncut game in both languages! Moreover, we are testing additional language support, starting with Chinese (Simplified) in Chapter 1.

Professional Japanese Voice Acting

Words depict a character's thoughts, but voices are expressions of their soul. Reading about a tsundere is great, but listening to one is sublime! Our voice lines are recorded by native Japanese speakers: Sit back and enjoy a comfortable, authentic listening experience!
