As backstory, my envolvement with the game start during beta, when the game had an initial price point and subscription cost. At its time it filled a great co-op itch and had a weird but satisfying "TF2, but all futuristic" feeling with its competitive multiplayer. My envolvement went on until its addition of open world, quest driven content, and again with free agent.
I say now that the game has failed to grow better with age. Its mechanics, control scheme and design feel obviously out-dated and somewhat foreign as time went on. It really didn't feel like the same game I remembered. Back when it was released I would say that it is a fun game with a lot of promise. Its launch failed to set hold because of the initial entry fee and subscription fees. By the time Global Agenda went Free 2 Play, it was already woefully aged and tired. I would not recommend this game, even as a Free 2 Play diversion. It failed as nearly every MMO of its time, ones that tried to chase the WoW-bucks.
