Why Early Access?

“I am a new game creator looking to help gamers make a difference in the world we live in. I created this game to demonstrate my passion and dedication to creating entertainment for good. My goal is to show that it is possible to raise money using video games to crowdfund projects positively impacting change. With your help I hope to prove to investors that the concept of using the revenue I make from The Tales of Redbox to support important projects is viable and can generate interest within the gaming community. Help me help other make the world a better place and give us a reason to proudly call ourselves gamers. 100% of revenue will go towards helping an The Azrou Tahaddi Association: For kids with special needs, pay the $5000 in taxes required to operate a passenger van donated to the organization to help transport children and adults with special needs to and from school and work. (GoFundMe Link Coming Soon). If the $5000 goal is met, the funds will be saved until another project in need of funding is found. THE GAME WILL BE COMPLETED EVEN IF THERE IS NO INVESTOR INTEREST.”

“The game will be in early access until at least 2022.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Based on the feedback received we will either 1) Incorporate additional levels as well as multiple boss battles before the boss battle finally. 2) Release only the initial level and the boss battle finally along with a online high score leaderboard. Below are some additional features that will be added based on the positivity of feedback I receive:

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Tales of Redbox alpha will demonstrate the main mechanics of the game, a high score, as well as a sneak peek into Redbox and Bluebox lore. The player enters the world as Redbox and begins moving forward on a set path through the prison Bluebox has trapped Redbox in. In order to escape you must destroy Blueboxe's minions by shooting them with your weapon "The End". Dodge obstacles that will cause instant death on impact.
There is currently one level that you must complete before coming face-to-face with Bluebox. Once you listen to the Bluebox cutscene you will be taken to the final credits followed by the high score scene and be given the opportunity to replay the level to improve your high score. THE FIRST BOSS BATTLE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE GAME'S BETA RELEASE.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game's price will gradually increase as I ship more content and features such as additional levels, boss battles, and all the other features seen in the above section "How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?"”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Throughout development the community will be given opportunities to test and provide their feedback through surveys or on Live Stream. The Bin_Loris Twitch community members have been a part of the creation of this game since day one and I plan to continue to embrace their ideas and feedback and incorporate them when I see fit.”
