American Conquest – Players set sail from Europe to discover new world and conquer its innumerable riches. The game begins in 1492, when Columbus lands in the Caribbean beginning three centuries of war as 12 different tribes and nations battle for survival and conquest. In eight historical campaigns spanning 42 missions you will play the role of great legends such as Pizarro and Washington commanding epic real-time battles containing up to 16000 soldiers on 3D landscapes. Harness new technologies, unique weaponry, improved fighting units, and the delicate world of diplomacy. Play with fire! Conquer America!

I played this when I was younger and loved it. Found it on steam and downloaded it. Such a good game! Only problem is it sometimes crashes on my computer.

One of the best strategy games of all times, it goes up there with the stronghold collection, I dont own the stronghold collection on steam but I own it on disk, The cossack games are really fun and enjoyable

-Good campaign, a lot of information
-Learn interesting facts
-Huge armies to the slaughter

Bad

-Your units sometimes have a mind of their own
-Has to be troubleshooted to run for Win 8

Lots of software bugs on this game. Bugs out when you have over 900 armies. Not a memory issue as I checked it all to make sure. The game is so much fun. Glad I saved the game after 2 hours of playing. Cant even play it now.

One year when I was a little boy then I was getting in to PC gaming I got two games for my birthday, Stronghold crusader and American Conquest and I love then both very much but my disk did not work so I bought this and it work awesomely it a really fun game if you like big battle with houndred of troops and its the history of the Americas
