Hello, people who might not see this.

I have just obfuscated the game files to Night Shift at Nate's to prevent some PIRATERS from stealing the game. I am being raided with constant emails for Steam keys and I am not trusting anybody.

I'm sorry for those who are legitimate streamers who wish to play the game but was denied by me, but I cannot provide any Steam keys anymore for a CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL trying to pirate my game out there (You know who you are, Discord people).

  • Fixed a bug where generic ability damage on weapons did not apply to spells. This is a buff
  • Fixed a bug where the Mirror Entity would rob Arcanists of their Fire Elemental. What a jerk!
  • Fixed a host of key rebinder issues, particularly on the controller
  • Fixed a controller issue when checking Nightmare details in the Nexus
  • Fixed a bug where you would not be able to exit the Echo Forger menu on a controller
  • Fixed a bunch of issues with the Codex and Game Guide on the controller. Sensing a theme yet?
  • Fixed a bug where the controller would not select the Conjuror tab on the skill tree
  • Fixed a few items that would prevent inventory navigation when selected on a controller
  • Fixed a memory leak with Avatar of the Night
  • Fixed a few bugs where the Challenge area could get you stuck with "Challenge HP". I'm aware that the Dodge challenge may have some bugs. If you run into this, send a report and let me know what you were doing at the time!

◆Fixed a bug that prevented the conversation scene from progressing during the event that occurs after encountering and rescuing Millia.

◆ Fixed a bug that prevented Milla's affinity level from increasing when talking to her in the item shop.

◆ Fixed a bug where Milla's character image overlapped with other NPCs.

These are all the fixes.

Why did such a fatal bug occur on a system that hadn't been touched at all?

I didn't know the cause, but after sorting through the system I was able to fix it.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused this time.

If the update fails and the new content is not installed correctly, please uninstall the game and then reinstall it.

Hello everyone!

It’s been a long time without updates, and many thought there would be no more. Perhaps I expressed myself incorrectly earlier: I meant that there will be no more big updates, but small and medium ones will continue to be released.

Today I'm excited to show you a new update, which also comes with a killer 70% discount starting September 22nd at 10 GMT-7! So, let's get started:

New Features and Changes

Added a new game mode Custom Mode. In it, you can set:
 • Day and night duration
 • Disable hunger and energy drain
 • Disable weather
 • Enable any available season
 • Cheats are enabled by default in this mode
 • Game difficulty selection is available
•Added a new Research Machine. Now you can obtain blueprints for the parts you •need.
•Added a basket for buying all parts from day and night sellers at once.
•Added all crafting parts now you can produce absolutely everything available in the game.
•Added a “Reroll Cards”button.
 • You can now reroll bonus cards, with the number of rerolls depending on their rarity.
•Added night brightness settings.
•Added new tutorial markers.
•Added a new Halloween season:
 • The event launches every October (or can be enabled separately in Custom Mode).
 • Weather changes to overcast, with fog instead of rain.
 • NPCs get a Halloween-themed appearance.
 • Pumpkins will appear on the streets: if you set them on fire, you will gain 20% of maximum experience.
•Added an icon in the warehouse over parts if you hired a garbage man.

Changes and Reworks

•Increased the price of blueprints.
•Decreased the chance of blueprints appearing in shops.
•Reworked Historical Mode: cheats are no longer available, and difficulty cannot be changed.
•The old shooting range mechanic has returned: residents can now test weapons they purchased. The old system also remains if you place weapons and ammo, regular residents will come and shoot.
•Expanded the winter location.
•During rain, the world is now much brighter.
•Shadows have become a bit darker to balance brightness.
•Changed the bonus card cancel mechanic: if you don’t want to pick a card, you will now receive 25% of maximum experience.
•Fixed and improved winter materials in some locations.
•The character now moves slower while crouching.

Fixes

•Fixed some minor issues.
•Fixed the winter menu.
•Fixed snow footstep sounds for both player and residents.
•Fixed a bug where parts from gifts did not move to the warehouse.
•Fixed an issue with the name of Mr. Daryl.

Nevergrind Online - Nevergrind Online

Season 4 begins on September 26th, 2025! If you have been looking for a good time to jump in and climb the ladder, there's no perfect time than this Friday as the new season begins. The ladder will reset and all new heroes will begin at level 1 with a fresh economy! Note that all heroes' equipment and inventories will move to Eternal mode, but banked ladder items do not! Thus, you should retrieve all items from the bank that you wish to retain!

No new gameplay features are slated for the season 4 release, but we do plan to resume development on features that have been on the roadmap such as more crafting options and an auction house! Note that the season 3 leaderboard will be preserved just like season 2's leaderboard. In the future we plan to save hero leaderboards, but the account and guild leaderboards are not.

Alter Evo - Technical Fiction

There is something really satisfying about collecting ammo in horror games.

Why is it so addicting to search around a level for that extra box of pistol rounds? Maybe it's because it feels like progress. You get a little bit stronger the more bullets you have - you are better prepared for your next enemy encounter.

With three unique weapons to choose from, collecting ammo became a core part of our game loop so we chose to make custom concept art for our ammo boxes.

Hand Cannon Ammo

The hand cannon is a slow firing, high fire power weapon that you get later in the game. It can be used to break the shields of tank like enemies, do massive damage to weak points, or snipe at a shooter from a distance. Be careful though, this ammo is like gold - you don't want to run out of it because certain enemy encounters will be very difficult without the ability to break shields.

Pistol Ammo

Pistol is your starter gun - though not the strongest weapon - it is great for almost all situations, specially if you improve it's firing speed and damage at the upgrade bench. With this gun - you'll almost always want to aim for head shots to stun enemies and do the maximum damage with your bullets - if you are shooting further away - be aware that there is a damage fall off on all weapons the further you are away from the target. Medium distance is recommended for the pistol.

SMG Ammo

You get the SMG early in the game during your first big enemy encounter at the Water Treatment plant. The SMG is harder to control than the other guns. It is great at short ranges or at controlling a horde of enemies. Sometimes you'll encounter a group of 3-4 Corpse Spawn (small spider like enemies) rushing toward you, and even with their low damage, the high rate of fire of the SMG gives you a good chance of hitting their stun points in a spray and pray moment. You might switch to your pistol to finish them off - but a few well placed shots with the SMG will also do the trick. There is a lot of ammo for the SMG placed around the game world - we expect you to shoot with it a lot. But don't get too trigger happy - after you upgrade the firing speed on this bad boy - it's easy to chew through your ammo in the blink of an eye.
