Hi everybody,

After three years, the time has finally come for the full release. Thank you for your patience and the many great ideas you've supported me with. Of course, development will continue—I have quite a long list of ideas and content that can still fit into this game. Here's a brief summary of what changes compared to Early Access.


Graphic overhaul


The 3D graphics and 99% of the user interface have been replaced. The armor and weapon 3D models remained but received new textures. This is a one-person project with a minimal budget, though for some essential tasks, such as animations, I hired contractors.





Hybrid class


While in early access only creatures belonging to the same class could be crossbred, now it is possible to crossbreed any creatures without limitations. The learnable abilities from each class are also accessible to hybrids if any of their ancestors belonged to that class.


Expeditions


It is possible to launch expeditions to discover new species. Certain species and their associated abilities can only be acquired this way. Expeditions are costly and dangerous undertakings. The further you travel, the greater the expense and danger you must anticipate. It is advisable first to assemble a strong team and accumulate sufficient funds.




New species and abilities


New species and abilities have been added. Currently, there are 44 species in the game from which new creatures can be created. However, about half of these species are only accessible through completing quests or embarking on expeditions.

Monsters can attack by biting or by using their tusks, claws, or tail spines.

Bite attack
The damage inflicted depends on the monster's bite strength.

Advantage:
  • Bites can inflict elemental damage and poisoning.
  • The passive abilities Life Steal and Energy Steal activate only during biting.
Disadvantage:
  • If the opponent has spiny skin, poison skin, shock skin, or fire skin, the attacker will take damage.

Charge, Claw, and Tail Attacks
The damage inflicted depends on the monster's strength.

Advantage:
  • Immunity to the opponent’s spiny skin, poison skin, shock skin, or fire skin.
Disadvantage:
  • Cannot inflict elemental damage or poisoning.

New abilities:
  • Charge
  • Tail attack
  • Energy leech
  • Selfless healer
  • Ultimate fury
  • Family bond
  • Flying
  • Bleeding wound




Crafting


The list of craftable equipment has been expanded. It is now possible to create shields, bows, and magic staffs. Eleven new alloys have been introduced, each adding a new bonus to weapons or armor. The raw materials have been replaced with four distinct types of steel, each with its advantages and disadvantages.

Alchemists and blacksmiths no longer receive special skills randomly. Instead, they gain skill points upon reaching skill levels 10, 20, 30, and so forth. Players can spend skill points on their preferred special skills.

BODYGUARD TASK FORCE - Rokay
After a great run in Early Access, Bodyguard Task Force is officially launching with Version 1.0!

Thank you for all your feedback and support. This major update brings new features, polish, and improvements across the board. Here's what's new:





New Firepower
A full set of new weapons is now available. Gear up and eliminate threats with style.





Weapon Progression System
Your weapons now level up as you use them, unlocking a variety of attachments along the way.






New Map: Old Town
Enter a new combat zone — Old Town.




New Achievements
Show your skills and earn three new Steam achievements by reaching max level with:
  • Any Handgun

  • Any SMG

  • Any AR Rifle




Other Improvements
  • Map Visual Overhaul: Better lighting and shadows for all maps.
  • Character Selection: Choose your bodyguard before missions.
  • Animation Update: Leg IK replaced with smoother and more stable animations.
  • HUD Option: Toggle the 3D bullet counter on/off.

Card Summoner - HG_Dave
First, thank you to everyone who has played Card Summoner during its first week on Steam. This project has been a labor of love, inspired by YGO: Forbidden Memories, while creating our own unique experience.

What we've heard so far

  • Bugs at launch: Like any complex release, we shipped with more issues than we'd hoped. Hotfixes have gone out daily, and stability is already much better. We're sorry to those who hit the rough edges first.
  • Card balance & synergy: A few cards feel underpowered or useless to some people. Once the major bugs are behind us and we are in maintenance mode we'll look into improving cards over time as we play and just enjoy the game.

Why we built the game

Story-based, single player CCGs are a tiny niche, precisely why we dove in. No one else was making the game we wanted to play, so we did. While we don't expect to see many other single-player CCGs out there, we hope others will create some too. We're happy with the experience we created and hope it shows.

Roadmap:

1.0.x - Quick fixes until 1.1.0.

1.1.0: In testing
• Smarter NPC decks to match the improved AI
• Effect fixes
• More balancing.

Beyond 1.1:
Monthly Regular maintenance patches: bug fixes, balance tweaks, QoL improvements.

We have no plans for multiplayer or paid DLC. If inspiration strikes, we may add content, but we won't make any promises.

A note on VR

The other spark behind Card Summoner was VR. We'd love to duel on a giant battlefield like Season 1 YGO, so we'll keep experimenting with a VR port - just a small battle area, nothing huge. This would be more of a fun side project for our own enjoyment. If it works out, we'll share it for free since it's super niche and just a small slice of the full game experience.

TRAUMA Pro Wrestling - Nuskadamo
My dearest friends, after a short break (and after taking care of other aspects of the game not quite glamorous enough to discuss) i can finally show you some gameplay footage! A lot of the mechanics that involve more than two players at once haven't been properly worked on yet, but now that i'm (mostly) done with the basics, taking care of those things should be no huge undertaking or anything like that.

Soulstone Survivors - Game Smithing
Greetings, Void Hunters!

We have just released Hotfix 4 for Update 16: The Titan Hunt! This is the smallest hotfix so far however the most important! In short, we have one change:

- After a lot of time testing and trying to reproduce, we found a rare issue that could lead to crashes in the game, especially related to the collection and spawning of XP crystals.

Not all players would experience this issue before, but if you were running into crashes with the game, please make sure to try version 16c5 (you can check in the top left corner of your screen), and if the issue persists for you, please do let us know!
