Perfect Plan - JOJO

Hello everyone, Amirulradzi here!

We're excited to release a major update for PERFECT PLAN, a stylized first-person boomer shooter with an uncapped health bar! This update introduces new features, reworks major boss fights, improves balance, and fixes several bugs.

New Feature: Level Selection
  • Now accessible from the main menu.

  • Replay previous levels to collect missed weapons or shield upgrades and any boss you've already defeated.

  • Increase your overall health count to defeat the final boss.

Boss and Enemy Updates
  • Octogen (BANK boss) now has new attack animations and a second phase.

  • The Fat Factory boss includes additional attack patterns and appears in two encounters.

  • Multiple bosses and enemy attack patterns have been reworked for improved challenge and pacing.

New Mechanic: Shield Gates
  • Shield-powered gates have been added to certain levels.

  • Use the Shield Launcher to destroy gate power sources and unlock blocked paths.

All In Statues
  • More Coin Statues have been hidden across levels.

  • Trade all your coins at these statues to restore health supremacy.

  • Several levels have undergone major design changes too.

Gameplay Balance Adjustments
  • Increased weapon damage to make combat faster and more impactful.

  • Increased damage received to reduce "bullet sponge" gameplay.

  • Health pickup costs have been adjusted to match the new balance.

  • All bosses now include intro voice lines.

  • Select enemies now have unique audio effects.

  • Added a brightness slider to the Options menu for better visual clarity. Real reason: I was testing the game on my little bro’s new monitor and couldn’t see shit!

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where picking up a gun upgrade before unlocking the weapon caused errors; now upgrades and unlocks properly.

  • Resolved level travel issues related to the Stolen Key; key detachment now only occurs at intended levels.

  • Fixed a bug where explosives stayed armed after exiting to the main menu, which could soft-lock progress in trap levels.

Little Nightmares Showcase comes with wealth of news on the franchise, as well as a deep dive of the Carnevale chapter, while celebrating 20 million units franchise sales.

Trapped in the Spiral, a world filled with delusions, Low & Alone are looking for a way out.

Through their journey, they enter the Carnevale, a decrepit funfair which is the focus of the new trailer and gameplay deep dive.

In addition, Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition has been announced with a release date also set on 10 October 2025. Hey All, back to you with some more updates and fixes!

My brother is currently in progress with the Fishing overhaul system. We are gutting the entire fishing system currently used and creating a new system that has never been seen before in gaming (we think). So far it is looking amazing and we can't wait to get it in your hands soon.

We have a few other new features coming out soon as well. We are hoping to have a bigger patch out before July 4th with some fun new content for y'all.

Here is some information on what's in today's patch:

Updated all supported languages and added two new languages, Turkish and Malay!

Added new sound effect when equipping bait
Made the picture of the equipped bait larger in the tackle box
Added gateway to everglades area on the swamp map
Changed time from 120 seconds to 180 seconds to feed the puppy dog before he kills you.

Fixed bug where snake could hold player indefinitely
Fixed bug where snake could kill two players at once
Fixed bug where if player died while driving the boat, they could become desynced and unable to play the game
Fixed bug where crocodile could get stuck in certain areas.
Fixed bug where mouse cursor could disappear when user presses esc without saving settings in options menu
Fixed bug where turn rate of boats could make the boat go mach 11 speed when player has high ping

Fixed bug where unstuck button could bug out the player
Fixed bug where player could repeatedly spectate a nonexistent player in the cave

Mini Reaper - blizzardlizard

As of writing this, 216 units sold of Mini Reaper have sold since it released one year ago, probably 15 or so of those from people I personally know. You may be surprised to see this in your steam, and you may not read it. But to whomever does, and to whomever doesn't;

That is roughly 200 people who decided to check out my game, even if they didn't play it, they at least thought it was interesting enough to pick up. That's about a small lecture hall's amount of people. Two Hundred people came to my metaphorical lecture to hear what I had to say, game-wise. A packed room. It's surreal to think about, even for a number that may sound small on its own. It really means a lot!

The game didn't really earn that much, selling to 200-so people for 3-ish dollars, but that doesn't really matter. Mini Reaper was mostly made to get my foot in the door. To make something small and relatively fast and get it done. Not to say it wasn't a labor of love, of course! I just knew going in that you have to make a few kinda bad games before you can make some kinda good ones, you know? It was important to learn the ropes, both of Godot, and of how to publish on steam to begin with, and of all the steps involved in actually finishing a game.

And..

..I still like it! I think it's a good, quaint little game!

What now?

Well, I'm working on a new game! And I hope to announce it (relatively) soon, ideally with a demo! And if you are at all interested in me, my art, or my games, you can follow me on my Bluesky! I promise I will try to post there more!

Already a month since the announcement?! Time passes by so fast. I hope everyone is staying cool in this dreadful weather.

In case you just stumbled upon this, I am Adrienne, also known as insertdisc5! I am the creator of timeloop RPG In Stars and Time, and now am working on my next game, memory visual novel Truth Scrapper. It’s gonna be a good one.

This month, I took a trip to Paris, and reworked the memory gameplay a bit!

So, as you perhaps can tell, TS’s backgrounds are collages of photographs. I’ve been using royalty free images from websites like Pexels, and it’s been going relatively well. Unless I was looking for pictures of Paris that weren’t taken by tourists, or looking for pics of stairs taken from the top of the stairs for some reason.

In light of that, I decided to go on a trip to Paris for a couple weeks to take reference pictures <3

Ok it might look like I only took pictures of food BUT IT’S RESEARCH OK IT’S RESEARCH OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rest of the month was taken by rewrites and replays. Unlike with ISAT (my previous game) where I worked chronologically with minimal backtracking during development, I feel like for TS I keep going back to previous days to add things, change a scene, remove a bit of foreshadowing that was too obvious… It’s not a bad way of working, but it’s so different from what I’m used to that it stresses me out anyway!!!

I also reworked the memory gameplay. The only way to impact the story in TS is not through choices, but with which memories Sosotte decides to remember day-to-day. I originally had some memories be dud memories, or memories that are just here as flavor, but playtesters seemed to keep them anyway… So now, I’m making sure all memories will give you a little something something!

This is how the memories for the prologue look now. Note the icons! 

So, if you pick that “funny cloud” memory, you will gain the “sight” perk, which allows Sosotte to, uh, remember to use her eyes. Yippee!

In July, I will finally finish that goshdang script for Day 4, and get it implemented.

  • Allow items which are locked for combining to be delivered by the courier

  • Fixed Abaddon's Mist Coil not dealing self damage when cast on enemies with The Quickening facet

  • Fixed several bugs where changing styles in the armory didn't update your model's appearance in demo mode.

  • Fixed a bug where changing styles while previewing an item in demo mode would not update the large preview in the armory.

  • Added a new setting hero specific setting for Rubick to allow players to configure what quickcast mode should be used by stolen spells.

  • Fixed Ghost Walk's duration being refreshed every time Aghanim's Scepter was dropped or picked up.

  • Fixed Elder Titan being able to repeatedly get the same Damage and Debuff Immunity buffs by alt casting stomp without casting Astral Spirit

  • Fixed Lich's Level 25 "Frost Shield Provides +50 HP Regen" working on units with pip-based health (Undying Tombstone, Shadow Shaman Mass Serpent Wards, etc)

  • Fixed Exorcism spirits not respecting the equipped cosmetic

  • Fixed a bug where items could not be dragged from a courier's inventory to the stash, but could instead only be put in the stash via the Return Items ability

  • Fixed not showing an error message when requesting delivery and the courier is dead

  • Fixed courier preserving its orders through death and respawn

  • Fixed Queen of Pain's Sonic Wave dealing infinite damage and healing when cast on a unit with very high status resistance

  • Fixed units forever being stuck at 1hp as a knock on effect of something doing infinite healing

  • Fixed "Owned By:" tag showing up on items used while in fog of war on dire side only

  • Fixed Undying level 20 talent not spawning Tombstone on death

  • Fixed being able to activate a watcher when two allies decapture the same watcher
