  • Weapon Changes
    • Colors are hard, and sometimes putting the blue and red wires in the blue and red wire slots is a challenge. Everyone makes mistakes. Unfortunately for you, because mass producing drones is so hard, drones now have a 1/20 chance of turning on the owner. Just remember: colors are hard. It's not out fault.
    • The Jolly Rodger, Cricket Pistol, and Musket now have better accuracy.
    • The Trooper of the Storm rifle was too accurate, so it's accuracy has been slightly decreased.
    • The Boogeyman shotgun now has increased range and fire rate.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed Hella Cool rarity Lever Action Sniper's damage from 900 to 90.
    • Fixed levitating building in Jurassic Jungle map.
    • The raptor paddock in Jurassic Jungle is now properly electrified.
    • Fixed issue where grappling with a grapple shotgun or getting electrocuted while on a vehicle would make you levitate.
  • General Improvements
    • You can now switch between first person and third person camera perspectives in the settings menu.
    • Scope sight now lines up with the actual scope of the weapon. This fixes having projectiles being shot out from the left side of the screen.
    • Slightly improved muzzle flash look.
    • Aiming now shifts the camera to the right so the weapon doesn't block your crosshair.
    • Aiming FOV shift matches physical camera movement speed to make aiming less jerky,
    • If you try to fire while the barrel of your weapon is clipping, you will be notified with a message.
    • If you die to a player that is already dead, it will show that kill as coming from the dead instead of 10,000+ meters.
    • You can now invert your X and Y camera movement in the settings menu.

    • Fixed issues that arose when a player entered a match while a round was active.
    • Damage markers no longer show decimals.
    • Fixed the floating magnet that happens when the delivery balloons set the box on the ground.

Storymode
  • The Syrup bottle now grants 7x the meters you run in addition to the 7x meters you were awarded previously from collecting other collectibles with this power up. Your speed is also reduced by 10% to make it slightly easier. (Also, it's syrup, so logically, you can't run as fast.)
Lasertag
  • All damage and health in Lasertag has been multiplied by 10. There are now no more decimals.
  • The following weapons have increased damage:
    • Flame Thrower
    • Flare Gun
    • Firework Launcher
    • The Boogeyman
    • Bear Beater
    • Oversized Mouse Trap
  • Increased the fire rate on The Boogeyman shotgun.
  • Drone battery life decreased from 60 to 45 seconds.
  • Brick throw speed reduced by 50%.
  • Rounds now default to 3 instead of 1.

  • Selecting a random item now has a 1/1,000 chance that the random item will be the rare Super Duper Rapid Fire Rocket Launcher which will be unlocked if you are lucky enough to have this item show up in your inventory.

  • New setting Fire Cancels Reload which you can customize to have firing cancel reloading on all weapons, no weapons, or everything but shotguns that reload one shell at a time. This will default to cancel reloading on all weapons.

    • Fast Firing Weapons
      • Due to an issue with some fast firing weapons, the fire rates have to be lowered to not cause the game to break. The following weapons now have a decreased fire rate. Other stats have been adjusted to compensate for these fire rate changes.
        • The Mastodon (Dual Minigun) - 50 to 25
        • The Megalodon (Tri Minigun) - 75 to 25
        • Sprayer SMG - 35 to 25
    • Trigger and Proximity Drones
      • The drones now have a battery life of 1 minute! If not shot out of the sky within their battery life, they will explode.
      • Increased reload times on all rarities from 1 seconds to 7.
      • Fire rate decreased from 5 to 2 drones per second.

      • Reduced stack size from 2-10 to 1-3.
      • Increased reload times on all rarities from 1 seconds to 7.

    • Fixed issue where the tornado animation would not loop.
Lasertag
  • Weapon Changes
    • Accuracy for all fast-firing weapons has been doubled (except the miniguns which were buffed in patch 1.5).
    • Recoil for every weapon has been decreased by 28%.
    • Decreased spread on Heart Breaker and Birdseed Shotgun, and increased effective range of Birdseed Shotgun by 50%.
    • Trooper of the Storm rifle is now less accurate.
    • Added a simple reload animation.
    • Arrowed weapons' projectiles now get stuck to the object they hit.
    • Huntsman snipers now hold 1, 3, and 5 rounds at a time.
    • Sprayer SMG rank 5 now has a magazine of 25 instead of 425.
    • Added correct sounds for Bowling Ball of Boom, Flutter Grenade, Propane Tank, and Box O' Tornado.
    • Meteors from the Meteor Magnatron now deal 25 damage instead of being an instant kill.

    • Hella Cool Blaster's shoot distance has doubled for all rarities.
    • The tornado will now interact with all physics objects.

    • You can now see the current match options by pressing 'O' (oh not zero).

Storymode

    • Fixed cheap juice, snow, and blood tiles from clipping into the side barriers that would cause Z-fighting.

    • Timed leaderboards are now formatted correctly.
    • Leaderboard entries of friends are now marked correctly as a friend.
    • The Most Eggs In a Single Game and Most Eggs Total Leaderboards have been reset due to an error where eggs were being counted in the credits (where there are an abundance of eggs for those unaware).
    • Leaderboards are initialized when the game first opens. If you get an error saying there was an error loading the leaderboard, the leaderboard will be reinitialized. Wait a few seconds, and the leaderboard may now show results.
  • King Kangaroo's Final Showdown
    • New difficulty: Speedrun:
      • Same as easy, but distance in between pie spawns is not random.
      • Time it takes KIng Kangaroo to come out of the lava is not random.
    • Added a "Restart" button to retry the boss.
    • Because the health doesn't reset in Easy mode, the stage will not reset to the first stage per checkpoint anymore. This is to prevent you from completely missing some stages. This change is only in Easy mode, not Speedrun.

Lasertag
  • Stats
    • Stats are now kept track of and can be seen in the Lasertag matchmaking UI.
    • Stats will only count if you are not the only player in the lobby.
    • You will be able to see your current world ranking on K/D and win%.

      • Lock onto enemies and send a heat seeking missile towards them!

      • Launch a missile that splits into more missiles that spits into even more missiles!

    • Rapid Fire Rocket Launcher

      • A rocket launcher that can hold 4, 8, or 12 rockets at once. Nice.

    • Scatter Grenade Launcher

      • Shoot a cluster of bouncy grenades.

    • Dynamite Cannon

      • Shoot sticks of dynamite at friends. Enough said.

    • Explosive Rifle

      • A rifle that has explosive bullets.

    • Explosive Shotgun

      • A shotgun with a pelleted explosive nature.

    • Propane Tank

      • Highly flammable tank that explodes when shot or when other explosions hit it. If you throw it directly at the ground or up in the air, it might explode on impact... it's a propane tank.

    • Explosive Minigun

      • A minigun that shoots explosive rounds... Stupid, but cool.

    • Flutter Grenades

      • Spinning floating grenades that travel far and take a while to land. Explode on impact or in proximity to another player.

    • Bowling Ball of Boom

      • The bowling ball that doesn't stop giving. *Stand back when in use.

    • Special Forces LMG

      • An old time-y light machine gun with better accuracy, but worse recoil.
      • Unlock this item by reaching level 70.

    • Trigger Drone

      • Meet Trigger! He would love to make your acquaintance.

    • Box O' Tornado

      • It's a tornado in a box. What more is there to life?

    • Meteor Magnatron

      • A laser rifle that shoots electromagnetic signals at the ground, sending coordinates to orbiting meteorites.

  • Vehicles
    • Where we're going... we don't need roads. New Hoverboard.

  • Weapon Changes
    • All snipers, arrowed weapons, explosive launchers, and the airstrike flare now have increased damage.
    • Adjusted some explosion radii, reload times, and fire rates of some of the grenade launchers to make them better. The machine grenade launcher also has increased magazine from 10-12 to 12-24.
    • Grenades now have a larger explosion radius, faster throw rate, and a much further throw force.
    • Increased explosion radius on most explosive throwables.
    • All arrowed weapons now have a much faster arrow launch speed.
    • The bullet spread has been redone on almost all fast-firing weapons to make them more accurate. Except the Trooper of the Storm rifle, which got even less accurate.
    • All LMGs now have a further effective range before damage starts to drop off.
    • Sprayer SMG has much faster fire rate and decreased magazine size to make it more unique among the other SMGs.
    • Baked potato from Hot Potato gamemode now has a faster launch speed and proximity detection where it will hit a player if it gets within a certain radius of them.
    • Ghost eggs (for ghost spectators) now have a much larger lift force and a larger hit radius.
    • All shock cannon upgrades now have a better starting blast PSI and increased charge rate.
    • The brick is now the fastest projectile in the game, going slightly faster than a sniper round. It also has increased damage, because being hit with a 100mph brick is going to hurt.
    • The Arabian Sword has a 66% larger hit radius.
    • Box cutter's radius is twice as large and does 10 damage instead of 5.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed issue where the Jewel Heist map wouldn't be unloaded when joining a Lasertag match directly from Jewel Heist.
    • Fixed issue where wins would only be counted if you were the host.
    • Fixed issue where you could collide with and take damage from fast firing projectiles you shot if you outran them.
    • You can no longer shoot the C4's proximity collision.
    • Fixed issue where TNT and C4's stick collision detection would re-trigger every time a new TNT or C4 was thrown onto it, causing them to make a ball.
    • Fixed collision issue with TNT that would cause them to stack into each other.
    • Fixed collision issues that prevented players from colliding with projectiles that stayed on the ground.
    • Fixed visual glitch that showed weapons being different rarities in the Weapon Backpack if you owned the same weapon that was forced of a different rarity.
    • Fixed issue where projectiles would not have the bullet spread that's listed on their stats.
    • Fixed the 9 3/4 walls that appeared in Autumn Town, as well as a hole on the edge of the map.
    • Fire damage now shows up on the responsible arsonist's screen.
    • Fixed an issue where explosions that tick damage continuously could kill you after you died, causing the game to soft lock.
    • Fixed a soft lock that occurred when trying to reload a gadget.
    • Fixed issue where player's usernames would not remain a constant size when aiming in with a weapon.
    • Fixed an issue where the player join audio would play multiple times when entering a match.
    • Your weapon will no longer be visible through a scoped weapon when scoping in.
    • Fixed issue with The Floor Is Lava gamemode where you could stand on or in the lava and be in godmode.
    • Fixed issue where message would not reflect a no-scope kill when dying to a projectile.
    • Fixed audio issue where the throwing sound on throwables could be heard from across the map.
    • Fixed audio issue where hit sound would play when another client's throwable would hit an object.
    • Fixed issue where the ghost egg would only create an impulse if it hit the player directly.

  • Other Changes
    • Text chat is now available! Press 'T' and start chatting away!
    • There is now an option to select random weapons and gadgets in the weapon selection menu. You can select both everything to be randomized, or a specific type of weapon/gadget.
    • When you deal damage to someone, their damage will appear over their head as additive damage. For example, if you hit them for 3 and then again for 2, the damage text over their head will show 5 damage total. The damage will disappear after a few seconds.
    • Damage received now shows up on your screen where damage dealt used to be.
    • Gun Game now selects 25 random weapons instead of the same set of 25.
    • Fire has been updated to look slightly more like fire.
    • Bullet holes now have cool spark effect.
    • Weapons that fire bullets now dispense shells.
    • Projectiles now spawn from the end of the barrel or from your hand instead of behind your head.
    • Increased size and detection radius of several projectiles.
    • Increased size of muzzle flash.
    • Added new death messages for when a player is poisoned.
    • You can now wish everyone in the match a GG by pressing 'G'.
    • The weapon shoppe now has an option to refresh it with more luck. This will have a greater chance of showing up with items that you don't already own.
    • In the bottom right of the weapon shoppe, you can now see how many owned weapons you have and how many are left. These stats are for shoppe weapons only, not weapons awarded through storymode.
    • The hella cool song just got even cooler.
    • XP will no longer be given after winning if you are the only person in the lobby.

Storymode
  • Beehives can now be collected and used with any other collectible.
  • Lava tiles now are spread out slightly wider. This will greatly increase the amount of tiles overlapping with the left and right lava barrier, making the edge exploit much harder.
  • The first gold ring, when collecting a Bucket O' Fish, now appears twice as far away to give players a chance to know what they're supposed to do.
  • King Kangaroo's Final Showdown
    • You now get three difficulty options when playing the final showdown. Achievements count in all three difficulties, but only real gamers skip easy...
      • Easy
        • Explosive pies in your inventory will never reset.
        • Pie hits don't reset after King Kangaroo dives back into the lava. The hits will only reset if you die.
        • King Kangaroo's health does not reset to the previous checkpoint when you die.
      • Normal
        • Nothing changed from previous update.
      • Good Luck, Bub
        • Original pie timer has been put back into this difficulty.
        • Lava density increased from Easy mode density to Normal mode density.
        • These changes should mimic how the boss was when the game was first released.
    • Saw blades and logs now spawn at the same distance away every time so there is no longer a chance of gaps being too small to jump in between. This also prevents the saw blades from occasionally making an impassible wall.
      • Saw blades spawn increased from 18 to 25 to make the saw blade stage still somewhat of a challenge.
  • Bug Fixes
    • White fade screen no longer gets stuck when pausing right as it comes onto the screen.

Lasertag
  • Increased max players per lobby from 6 to 10.
  • There is now an option to see all players in the match with the option to send Steam friend requests to them.
  • Your weapon selection will no longer reset to the default selected weapons after the first round.
  • You can now shoot thrown items to destroy/explode them.
  • The Magneto Sucker grappling gun will now pull other players toward you when hit.
  • Your character now does the Wilhelm scream when you die.
  • Added several additional random match messages.
  • When selecting weapons, you have the option to sort weapons between weapon type (rifle, shotgun, sniper, etc.)
  • Added a sound for when the a new player enters the match.

  • Spectator Mode
    • When you die, you'll now be transformed into a spooky spirit, free to roam around the map.
    • Spooky Spirits are invisible to all other players,
    • Spooky Spirits have an unlimited supply of Spooky Eggs.
      • There is currently no fire delay when throwing Spooky Eggs. Throw them as fast as you can click.
      • Spooky Eggs act as a small impulse to players inside its hit radius.
  • New Custom Game Options

      - Steam usernames can be displayed over players in the match.
    • Team Size
      - Teams can now be formed!
    • Rounds
      - Games can now be split up into rounds that keep track of amount of kills, deaths, and wins. Default is 1 round, but can be set up to 100.
    • Respawn
      - You can now choose to respawn for a duration of time or by limiting the number of respawns per player.
  • New Items
    • The following items can be found in the weapon shoppe.
    • Snake Shot Rifle - Fast firing rifle that shoots 5 pellets instead of normal bullets.

    • Snake Shot Revolver - A revolver that shoots 5 pellets instead of normal bullets.

    • Toasty Marshmallow Launcher - Shoots fiery marshmallows that ignite enemies.

    • Snowball Launcher - Rapid-fire snowball launcher that reduces enemies' speed and puts out allies on fire.

    • Surrender Flag - New gadget that shields you from taking damage from bullets.

    • Oversized Mouse Trap - A large mouse trap that is sure to fool anyone who wants the delicious cheese!

    • Arabian Sword - Slash opponents with this heavy-hitting sword!

    • Proximity Drone - A drone that patrols the map. When a player gets into proximity, the drone will chase the player until it gets within its explosion radius.... then KABOOM!
  • New Gamemodes
    • Hide and Seek - One team gets 20 seconds to hide. Then it's up to the seekers to find and kill the hiders within the 2.5 minute time limit!
    • Freeze Tag - Each team gets a net launcher and a box cutter. If hit with a net launcher, you cannot move until a teammate (or opponent) slices the net off you. If all of your team gets caught, you lose!
    • Arsonists vs. Snowballs - Each team gets a snowball launcher and a toasty marshmallow shooter. The only damage in this mode is from being ignited by the toasty marshmallows which can only be put out by a teammate's (or other opponent's) snowball launcher.
    • Hot Potato - One unlucky fella has the hot potato. That player has to throw it and hit another player to transfer the potato. The last person holding the potato is exploded. The potato then transfers to another unlucky fella until only one person is left.
    • Gun Game - The first player to get eliminations with all 25 weapons wins!
    Bug Fixes
    • If you get stuck in the falling animation while your velocity is zero, you will automatically jump to assist in getting unstuck.
    • Fixed a hole in China Map and added rock formations in ravine to prevent players from being stuck in the bottom. Also fixed some trees that defied gravity.
    • Weapon names in death feed now use the correct articles "a"/"an".
    • Win screen is now properly centered and changed losing screen.
    • Bullet holes no longer appear on thrown items which would leave the bullet holes floating after the thrown item was either removed or rolled away.
    • Your player no longer gets locked after winning.
    • Sniper projectiles now create bullet holes.
    • Fixed a soft lock that occurred when pressing a keybind to a slot that was not occupied.

  • Items
    • New Items
      • Sticky Syrup - Gets your feet sticky preventing you from jumping. Grants 7x more meters than collecting items normally. Available in all collectible gamemodes except Ghost Zone.
    • Increased Potion O’ Meters spawn in Ghost Zone from 22% to 35%.
    • Candelabra can now be ‘refueled’ by running into another one mid-flight.
    • You can now collect other objects when riding the Candelabra.
  • King Kangaroo’s Final Showdown
    • King Kangaroo now stays 5 seconds longer after meteors and saws on the third boss wave.
    • You can now stall spin one time after you deplete your pies. This should help if you want to throw your last pie, but don’t like your current falling path.
    • There is no longer a time limit to hit King Kangaroo before his pie hits resets. Instead, his hits will reset when he dives back into the lava.
    • Wave 2 log toss has been swapped with wave 2 icy track. Log toss grab animation also shortened from 5 seconds to 1 second. These changes are to prevent skipping the log stage completely.
    • Once you hop onto a meteor, you won’t be able to throw pies until you land on the ground. This is to prevent you from losing all of your pies in order to get through this stage.
    • Spinning saw spawns in wave 3 decreased from 30 to 18.
    • Shortened time it takes King Kangaroo to return to his default position after throwing saw blades in wave 3.

Storymode
  • Collectibles can no longer spawn directly on lava tiles.
  • Meteorites now have a guaranteed safe path with no lava tiles directly behind them so you can land without fear of dying to hidden lava.

    • Pies now have a maximum spawn distance of 75 meters instead of 100 meters.
