I had some free time and I decided to do some work on the games. It's a US holiday, and fireworks are literally going off around me as I write this.

Now (with a little bit of developer effort) the engine is capable of showing 3D animated movies. At present, the game includes two of these animations, including an atmospheric new intro scene. All 2D stills have now been replaced with a 3D camera system, in line with most modern games.

In addition, you can now spend yen on weapons and refills. (Ways to make yen are forthcoming.) As usual, this release also includes small map geometry updates and bug fixes.

We’re excited to release 7 new character skins and a new S12-Worldstone Shard ! Update via Steam and log in to experience them.

It's still super early in its progress, so don't expect a super crazy thing with this. But for starters, this mechanic will introduce the actual requirements to start hatching pets. In the previous update it was just building the egg, but now we have requirements!! All levels in the game where you unlock a pet have this feature now and are also all unique. Take for example Mary, her egg requires you to have a few baby guppys within the tank, plus another requirement, to hatch.

This will help with making each level feel unique, even though you're still doing the same thing on a surface level. But aside from the new pet egg requirements, this update introduces a new pet. Say hello to Cherry!!

Cherry is a quahog clam, or in other words a cherrystone clam. She is a simple pet, she sits at the bottom of your tank and occasionally produces pearls. Each pearl is worth 255 money or about 12 Guppys. She also has a pretty interesting ability too, you can grab her and move her around the tank. She doesn't mind it, and if you want, you can drop her from the top of the tank. She also weighs a bit, but that's just her shell's weight. But with this extra shell weight, she can stun enemies with it. Just drop her on top of enemies and watch them get stunned.

Just note, this will not be the final look/build for Cherry. I plan on completely changing her look in the future. At least I plan on updating her sprite to be built 3d-ish. I think I have an idea for creating all assets for the game, just need to figure out a good approach to this idea. But the overall idea of her being a clam with pearl making abilities + basic crowd control will be her identity.

■Temporary Workaround

You may be able to mitigate the issue by reducing the graphics load using the following steps:

1. From the title screen, go to Settings

2. Select Graphics Settings

3. Adjust the following options as listed below:

   ・Image Quality Settings: Choose a lower quality level

   ・Display Mode: Set to Windowed

   ・Resolution Settings: Choose a lower resolution

   ・Fog Settings: OFF

4. Select Back twice to save your settings

• Fixed the bug where shells could pass between tank tracks (Yes, shells now have height detection).
  
• Fixed the bug where the labels of multi-turret tanks did not turn gold after clearing all Difficulty 5.
  
• Corrected by players: The Ka-Mi tank without pontoons can now float on water, though it’s more unstable.
