TaleSpire - Baggers

This patch is somewhat of a follow-up to the last one in that it fixes more places where Windows could have issues with long file paths.

Along with that, there are a few little tweaks:

  • We've widened the summon players button so it looks better

  • We added better error logs to help us track down a specific dice bug

  • We now allow you to drag new morphs to creatures even if their radial menu was already open.

It's back to the forges with us now, so until next time, happy adventuring.

  • Deathmatch is now a paid DLC ($9.99)
  • Added Free Ops, a free play gamemode ($9.99)
  • Added new maps to play in (which can be unlocked with the Extra Maps DLC for $12.99)
  • Added point earning: you can now earn points in Free Ops
And the following bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where the reactor would despawn, crashing the game
  • Fixed a bug where Mark can eat his flashlight
  • Fixed a bug where if you start a campaign at 2:14:07 AM Senegalese Time everything is replaced with the black and purple textures from the Source Engine as well as Mark being allowed to read minds and fly

This update is distributed free to existing game owners. Servers are required to update before you can play.

The Spiral Playtest - Splagoon
  • Added 19 basic weapons
  • Added 18 new perks
  • Melee weapons in Collection have been divided into more categories
  • Adjusted some of the stat meters when previewing an item
  • Adjusted animation for Overhead Cleave and Concussive Strike so the swing portion is faster
  • Reduce stagger damage of Shieldbreaker Longsword
  • Fixed Adorned Mace and Noble Hammer missing a value for the Reach stat (only a visual change)
  • The "Dagger Throw" weapon technique has been renamed to "Weapon Fling"
  • Spiderlings no longer proc the "Blood Rush" perk
Stars Reach - sean.weeden
We started with just three: Alleine, Signus, and Vestaxe held up the sky for years. They were amazing through the unveiling of Stars Reach, two Discord migrations, and the launch of player testing. When interest in the tests started growing, we worked together to recruit X more moderators.

Fast forward to today, and we have Alleine, Lemonous, Leric Dax, Paxus Paine, Signus, Vecta, Vestaxe, and Will! This is great. The Discords are hopping and we are there. For Twitch streams, we have moderators and even game play feeds on hand. Sometimes the mods even jump in to help on stream in additional ways. We have playtests ~4 times per week, and the mods are a huge resource for these as well.

But the day is coming soon when we aren’t running 4 playtests per week – when the servers are up and running nearly 24/7. And we don’t have enough moderators to even pretend to cover our needs. In fact, we currently have gaps in our late Pacific/early Asian time zone coverage.

So we are opening recruitment for more moderators. If you are interested in joining the team, please send an email to community@playableworlds.com and introduce yourself. Tell us about your interest, your relevant experience if any, and anything else you think we’d find interesting.

We are glad to announce, that we have published closed 0.0.5 version available for testers. It is already available to download. Thanks to everyone who started the testing process! 5 more players have applied for pre-demo testing, and 4 of them were allowed to proceed. For now we close the applying process and will not proceed anymore, thanks for participating in the test!
