Important information about the Oculus Rift & Razer Hydra implementation[/h1]

With the upcoming releases of Surgeon Sim (1.160+), we have moved the VR functionality into a separate beta build. This is to alleviate some of the issues some players were having where the drivers for these devices were not playing nice with their system.

Now the VR functionality has been moved to an opt-in beta (that is open to everyone).

If you own an Oculus Rift or Razer Hydra and want to continue playing with your devices just follow these steps :

• Right click on Surgeon Simulator in your Steam library and select properties...
  
  
  
  
• Click on the BETAS tab.
  
  
  
  
• Select the "vr - Beta release" from the dropdown list.
  
  

That's it! Close the properties window and your game should begin updating to include the VR drivers.


In the future this functionality may be merged back into the main build as we see the drivers becoming more stable
