Indie Game the Movie thumbnail
Indie Game: The Movie is available to download on the official site and iTunes. It'll be released on Steam in about seven hours time, making it the first ever full-length movie to be released on the platform.

You could use Steam's remote download feature to kick it off from your office/school/college then watch it while eating your tea this evening. That's what I'm planning on do.

Alternatively, you can purchase on the official site and sneakily stream it in the corner of your monitor. Or just buy it on iTunes and watch it on your iOS device from a toilet cubicle.

Indie Game: The Movie was directed by Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky. It follows Tommy Refenes and Edmund McMillen as they create Super Meat Boy in late 2010 as well as Phil Fish, who struggles to prepare his first public demo of Fez. A post-Braid Jonathan Blow also features as he decides what to do after his massively successful indie. Jim Guthrie composed the score; he's the musician behind the Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP.

We'll have our review of Indie Game online soon. Are you excited about watching?

Psychonauts

Back in December, the Humble Indie Bundle 4 wowed us by making $1 million in a day. We thought that would prove a hard number to beat, but that was before we knew Humble Bundle 5 would contain Limbo, Psychonauts, Bastion, Sword and Sworcery and Amnesia. Unsurprisingly that incredible collection of games has helped smash the previous record. With the day not yet over, the latest Humble Bundle has already made $1.8 million, making it likely they'll more than double their previous total before the day is out.

Some numbers for you. So far 244,000 bundles have been bought at an average price of $7.65. Windows users pay the least, at $7.10 on average, while Mac fans stand at $9.13 and Linux users at a whopping $11.87. The highest price paid so far is $3001, by Notch, beating the second placed Humble Brony Bundle by $1. The cad. There's 13 days and nine hours left on the clock, so we can expect a lot more money raised for developers and charities before the sale ends. No wonder we named these guys our community heroes of the year.

If you want to know more about the bundled games you can check out our Limbo review, our Bastion review or our Amnesia review.
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP
Sword and Sworcery Thumb
Superbrother's Sword and Sworcery was originally a kooky iOS game, abeit one that's extremely enjoyable to look at and listen to. It was so pretty in-fact that most of my iPhone playthrough was tainted by my own frustrating metagame where I would screengrab at climactic moments, often resulting in unnecessary death for the sake of a wallpaper (grabbing on the iphone requires you to switch hand-stance significantly, leaving you vulnerable to bad things). I'll let you discover the rest of the game for yourself - the mystery is half the appeal.

Now Sword and Sworcery is on PC, rendering my low res iOS screens puny and insignificant in comparison the 1920x1080 behemoths embedded below. It's currently on sale for £3.74/$5.99 on Steam. You'll also get Jim Guthrie's soundtrack "Ballad of the Space Babies" bundled, which plays out like a concept album of melodic beeps and boops. Here's a sample of my personal favourite tune: "The Prettiest Weed." You can even buy it on vinyl if you're going through that phase of your life.
