Humble has cast its net into the vast ocean of PC games for us once more and collected together a new bundle containing eight VR games, including the likes of Job Simulator, Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Borderlands 2 VR and more.

The timely-titled Spring into VR Bundle offers up around $215 worth of games that can be yours for less than £11. Various VR headsets are supported so have a browse through and see if there's anything worth using as a temporary escape from the real world for cheap!

For less than a pound you can grab the space exploration game Detached and see how you would fare in a Gravity-esque scenario. Sadly, incorporeal George Clooney is not included.

A fan-made recreation of the Enterprise from Star Trek: The Next Generation has been pulled offline following a cease and desist.

Stage-9 was a two-year-old fan project that let users explore a virtual recreation of the Enterprise-D, the spaceship made famous by The Next Generation tv show.

The hugely-detailed virtual recreation was built using the Unreal game engine, and was available on PC as well as virtual reality headsets Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. You can freely roam the ship, travel to the various decks, enter rooms, interact with objects and even fire a phaser. Stage-9 looked like this:

Ubisoft has announced that Star Trek: Bridge Crew, its (primarily) virtual reality recreation of the classic sci-fi television show, will be getting a Next Generation themed expansion for PlayStation 4 and PC later this year.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew - The Next Generation, to give the expansion its full and thoroughly unsurprising name, will be available for PSVR, Vive, and Oculus Rift - and, as of December last year, will also work without VR if you don't have the appropriate kit.

When the expansion arrives, crews will be granted a new bridge option for their adventures; alongside the existing bridges of the USS Aegis NX-1787 and classic series USS Enterprise NCC-1701, players will be able to work together on the bridge of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, as seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
