Cyberpunk 2077 - AlicjaCDPR

Patch 2.31 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now live!

This update includes an AutoDrive upgrade and Photo Mode adjustments. It also addresses common issues encountered by players. For details, check the full list of changes below:

Vehicles
  • Updated AutoDrive. When driving to a selected point, the vehicle now drives smoothly, overtakes blocking vehicles and no longer stops at traffic lights. Free Roam mode has also been upgraded to follow traffic rules and navigate the city more reliably.

  • Fixed an issue where Johnny always spawned in the passenger seat when using the Delamain Cab service.

  • Fixed an issue where applying CrystalCoat to the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru caused its wheels to flash in different colors.

Photo Mode
  • Most of the new poses introduced in Update 2.3 now work with any gender.

  • Disabled NPC collision, which will make it easier to position NPCs on top of other objects with collision (e.g. on car hoods).

  • Fixed an issue where some of the poses didn't work for Royce.

Quests & Open World
  • Freedom - Fixed the journal entry that appears when the player chooses not to steal the Rayfield Caliburn "Mordred."

  • Motorbreath - Fixed an issue where, after V fails to pursue and stop Semimaru and receives a text from River saying he'll contact V soon, the follow-up message never arrives.

  • Motorbreath - Fixed an issue where the Yaiba Semimaru could flip over during the chase, preventing the player from entering it.

  • Motorbreath - It's no longer possible to trigger the quest if River died during The Hunt.

  • Motorbreath - Players can now acquire the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru through AUTOFIXER even if they failed The Hunt, which normally unlocks the side quest where the vehicle is obtained.

  • Nitro (Youth Energy) - Fixed a game crash that could occur in certain circumstances after leaving the Yaiba showroom event.

  • Nitro (Youth Energy) - Fixed an issue where the proxy interface UI in the Yaiba showroom is cut off when the "Larger HUD Elements" setting is enabled.

Miscellaneous
  • Fixed several localization and lipsync issues in various languages.

  • Added a toggle to disable vignette. It can be found in Settings → Graphics → Basic.

  • Fixed an issue on PC and Mac where Ray-Traced Reflections might not display correctly when enabled under certain conditions.

  • Fixed several issues with displaying text messages from Delamain.

  • Various fixes for fluff vendors.

PC-specific
  • Fixed an issue where NVIDIA Reflex could be disabled while DLSS Frame Generation was enabled, causing the screen to turn pink.

  • Fixed an issue where Path Tracing didn't activate properly in certain scenarios.

Mac-specific
  • Fixed an issue where changing graphics presets on Mac set Screen Space Reflections to a higher setting compared to the equivalent presets on PC.

  • Fixed an issue causing a permanent white screen when Frame Generation is enabled while entering the braindance in The Information.

  • Selecting "Defaults" in Video Settings no longer turns HDR Mode off.

  • Fixed an issue where setting the MetalFX DRS Maximum Resolution above the value applied by the “For this Mac” preset could cause visual artifacts.

  • Fixed the inverted behavior of the "Mute Game in Background" toggle in Settings.

  • Removed the outdated "(Requires Game Restart)" disclaimer from the mouseover description of the "Disable Spatial Audio" setting.

  • Fixed an issue on the App Store version that caused the game to become stuck on the “Press Space to continue” breaching screen.

  • Various stability and performance optimizations.

Dreamaire Playtest - JiaoshouMa

1. The rules of the Dream have been rewritten:
The dream world can no longer contain numbers exceeding 6. You cannot possess more than 6 coins, your deck cannot hold more than 6 cards, your maximum HP cannot exceed 6, your armor cannot exceed 6... Everything is governed by the number 6. Experience a new adventure under these unprecedented constraints!

2. The structure of the new Dream World has transformed:
Now, you must navigate through successive layers of labyrinth-like dreams to reach the end. The world’s architecture has shifted—prepare for a journey through ever-evolving dreamscapes.

3. New Quests:
Each character has multiple quests awaiting your completion. Dive into story-driven challenges and unlock unique rewards as you explore the depths of the Dream.

4. Character Experience Adjustments:

  • Knight: Minor balance adjustments to refine combat flow.

  • Wizard: Significant gameplay adjustments to enhance strategic depth and spell synergy.

Step into the reimagined Dream World, where every choice is shaped by the number 6, labyrinthine layers test your resolve, and new adventures await at every turn!

Snow-Steam Trail Playtest - Aros

To better refine the game itself, this test version will no longer be updated. Instead, a Demo will be released no earlier than the end of October, and we will continue to fix and update this Demo over the next few months.

The Demo version will include the following features:

  1. Fix all bugs from the test version.

  2. Improve the initial tutorial and scenes, creating a smoother transition between the tutorial and the main game. After completing the tutorial, players can drive their vehicles out and continue playing without a loading screen.

  3. Add more functional furniture and reduce the construction and maintenance costs of existing furniture.

  4. Improve the item spawn. Item spawns will be determined by the nature of the area, such as parts having a higher chance of spawning in repair shops and food in houses.

  5. Optimize vehicles and items, such as increasing vehicle durability.

  6. Modify the graphics and add textures, increasing detail and improving sky effects like clouds and the moon.

  7. Optimize the game to reduce lag.

Hey everyone! I've been kept busy with everything going on since the Early Access launch, and I am finally ready to share some of the fruits of my labor! Pouring through all the feedback I heard 2 main things: Fix performance, and add content. I wanted to first focus on the foundations, so this experimental is going to be targeting primarily the core engine.

This is definitely experimental, things such as hardware compatibility are pretty unknown, however I expect anyone who gets to the main menu to be able to play with this.

Experimental v1.3.0
Graphics
  • Moved from OpenGL to Vulkan, which should help with modern GPU compatibility

  • Transparency dithering has been drastically improved

  • Multisample Antialiasing (MSAA) options for 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x are now available, which improve both dithering and edges of geometry (this is very expensive on some GPUs at 8x)

  • Anisotropic Filtering options for Off, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x are now available, which improve texture readability (this should be pretty much free)

  • All textures are now able to be globally animated, not just voxels, so things like items can be animated now

Soundtracks
  • KINETIC - Progress

  • SPARKS - Early Industry

Changes
  • Leaves are now supported by 2 instead of 3 voxels

  • Wrench now stacks to 1

  • When in "placement mode" you no longer can interact with machines

  • The main menu now runs the full renderer, a character model has been added (eventually your personalized one?)

Fixes
  • Game clock should be less unstable, as well as having a bit less latency

  • Coyote time should no longer cause glitching while jumping

  • Crafters will no longer make a crafting noise when failing an attempt at crafting

  • Interacting with the Workbench no longer causes a script error

Modding
  • Voxel textures now reference normal textures, requiring them to be added to your "mod_data" like other textures

  • Custom shaders and post processing shaders are now hot reloadable (modding post processing will be added soon)

  • Prior custom shaders will need to be redone due to dramatic changes, reference the standard shader

  • Animated texture .toml configs have had "frames" renamed to "frame_layout", with a new field "frames" containing the total amount of frames in the animation sheet

  • "Prediction Debug" is now available which shows any basic prediction errors the game can detect, letting you see how many things I still need to (maybe) predict

  • You can now mark a TextureBuilder for linear or cubic texture interpolation

Removals
  • Support for v3 and v4 world saves has been removed, leaving v5 and the new v6 available

  • The "Terrain Rate" setting has been removed, this is too confusing, so for now chunks are just generated immediately if they're in render distance

Known Issues
  • The skybox is a solid color, this will soon return to glory as well as be improved

  • The main menu character's lighting is unstable until you enter and exit a world

  • HDR displays and / or Linux AMD cards result in the screen being brighter than it should be

Scientists report that anomalies across the Zone are boiling like a volcano before eruption. According to their forecasts, this weekend may be сloudy with a сhance of artefacts. Don’t forget to check the in-game Event Hub — every such outburst will always be displayed there.

From September 13, 02:00 (UTC), until September 15, 02:00 (UTC), artefacts spawn in all locations will be increased by 50% after the eruption.

More artefacts mean more opportunities for builds and for trading. But remember: your rivals won’t be sleeping either. Don’t waste time — no one knows when the Zone will offer such a chance again.

Growing up, I always dreamed of becoming a content creator. While studying medicine, I felt a void in my daily life. I decided to try and fill it by creating content for Albion, a game I had already been playing for four years. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. Now, I not only love the game, but I enjoy the process of content creation even more!
