Up to Par - It's Anecdotal

Hi,

This small update fixes a number of issues across the game.

  • Fixed a bug where sometimes you wouldn't be given a modifier reward, even if you'd earned one.

  • Double reward icon at the end of the game no longer shows a hole number.

  • Fixed a bug where sometimes you couldn't select a modifier reward at the end of a round.

  • Fixed overlapping icon bug when showing the modifier goal in the game menu.

  • Contours from future holes no longer show when the current hole is being animated in or out.

  • Teams now use the maximum number of equipment slots that anyone in the team has unlocked.

  • The hole-in-one bonus is now applied to everyone in a team, if anyone on that team has it unlocked.

  • The weekly challenge always uses your standard difficulty progression.

  • You no longer get stuck bouncing forever on the springboard.

  • The default selection when navigating the settings is now more intuitive.

  • Updated the whole game to Unity 6, which will have minor performance benefits.

Good Evening community,

We continue our efforts to provide updates as we address issues for both ARK: Aquatica and ARK: Survival Evolved. Studio Sirens remains dedicated to providing updates daily as issues are being logged or addressed. We are maintaining visibility regarding bugs reported into the #「📩」support channel on the Official ARK: Aquatica Discord.

In continued support of transparency, continued showcase of progress as well as Aquatica DLC specific content, Studio Sirens developer, Z_Swell will continue to stream live throughout the week!

  • The plan for these streams is to review the updates from the latest efforts, preview upcoming fixes, and answer player/community questions.

  • Current plan is to have live streams every day this week, Tuesday until Friday, (07/22 - 07/25)

Yesterday (7/22), we released an update that included a fix for loading mods that will continue to be developed. Another solution will be coming soon. While we have specifically tested certain mods, we are going through a list provided by the community. We have had relatively few mods failing to load, more information on this specific issue coming soon.
The issue specifically with materials failing to load in relation to mods have been fixed.

The “preaquatica” beta branch is still live and will remain available until further notice.

Pre-Patch notes for the next update (v360.1 Live Branch)
  • An additional game engine fix is in the works, more mod fixes are being pushed.

  • Potential fix for issue with dinos/ships disappearing and cryopod bug when logging off.

  • Players falling off the map when crossing big pools of lava, a work in progress.

  • Several FPS / Level Optimization are in progress

  • Linux Binaries

  • Server cluster transfers

  • Addressing rending and mesh popping in the level

  • Boss battle music

  • Updated Devkit

  • Hydrosphere Issues

  • Vehicle issues (Rafts/Motorboats/Stinger issues)
