Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville - sarahnorthway
This update fixes issues with Steam achievements in the Mac version, and some other minor bugs. Also the interface for placing traps is a little better, and those faction related "friend" perks are now more useful.

  • Fix "corruption" error with some video cards while loading a game

  • Disposables (traps, bombs, medkits etc) can be placed multiple times more quickly now
  • Added passive effects to faction friend perks (+10% to respect increases, +1% respect/turn when low)
  • Fixed wording on Stranger Danger options
  • Fixed survivors losing Devout trait at start of game from no churches
  • Fix rotten survivors being disease vectors
  • Fixed steam cheevos on mac
  • Upgraded to Adobe AIR 25

Looks like things are running smoothly in Deadsville now. I've been off in an entirely different universe working on a VR Puzzle game called Fantastic Contraption which we released a couple weeks ago.

I came back to Rebuild to fix a few issues and got all nostalgic looking through the code. This game filled my waking life for 3 years - morning, noon, nights and weekends I worked on it and worried about it. Rebuild 3 is my greatest accomplishment, but it did wreck my psyche and break my heart. I'll always love it though. <3

Various bug fixes and a mode that makes the game's colors easier to tell apart if you're colorblind. Hey and I finally fixed that perma-pause bug! Whoo! Thanks to the players who made that possible by reporting it from inside the game.
