  • Fixed a bug where poisoned creatures thought that they were attacked by an unseen enemy after blinking.
  • Fixed a bug where on hit -effect texts were logged even if the situation was not seen.
  • Fixed an inventory list bug.
  • Fixed some bugs related to effects that have "seen hostiles" or "chain" as the area of effect, mainly Chain Lightning and Holy Burst.
  • Fixed a bug with animals not using Health Surge.
  • Fixed a bug where creatures animated from a trap did not attack the one that sprung the trap.
  • Fixed a bug charm related bug.
  • Animated and summoned creatures created by an evil aligned creature now remain evil aligned after their master has died / lost, and can be targeted with Holy Burst and such, which only damages evil creatures.
  • Devices (orbs, wands, etc.) now show range in their properties, if applicable.
  • Devices / talents that affect creatures and have automatic target selection are dimmed in lists if there are no applicable creatures in range.
  • Ordering a companion to drink potions (CTRL + ENTER or SHIFT + ENTER) in loot manager is now longer immediate even when no hostiles seen. You can now set a potion for several companions without the loot manager closing. Companions drink the potions as their next actions. If you need immediate action, you can do that from the companion's inventory.
  • If you have selected a Great Ability talent during level up, it now counts as an ability increase when checking the ability requirements of other talents.
  • AI and pathfinding tweaks.
  • Several typos fixed.

Hello, players! The trial version of our idle indie game "Lakeside Tavern" is now officially online!

As for why it is launched on Monday, it is of course to allow everyone to fish better (right?)

After hundreds of enthusiastic players participated in the internal test and gave feedback, we fixed the bugs of all sizes, which made our lakeside tavern journey more rich and interesting. Once again, we must thank the more than 200 players in our internal test player group.

The official version of the game key will be dropped from time to time in the group. Welcome to join the internal test Q group: 883453348, and become the owner of the tavern together in the melodious jazz music and enjoy the short tranquility.

If possible, I hope that all players can move their hands and help us add it to the wish list or give a good review to the trial version.

First and foremost, the team would like to express their deepest gratitude towards our community for joining us on this incredible journey thus far. We've only begun to scratch the surface of what Vanguard Exiles has to offer, and are excited to continue making progress with such a phenomenal player base.

With the release of our upcoming new Faction, The Order of the Undying, the cost for Vanguard Exiles will be getting a minor price bump of USD $5 (taking it to $19.99) which will take effect on the 26th May.

For those who've already purchased the Early Access build, there is no further cost, and this content will be in your ghoulish hands on release day!

Whilst this bump is not dramatic in terms of price increase, the impact the new content being released certainly will be! Having said this, there's still time for players to snatch this up before the price increase, and there's no better time to do so with the advent of a new Faction being introduced into the game!

As always, The Tea Division remains focused on our commitment to the community, driven by ensuring value whilst focusing on the continued growth of Vanguard Exiles and our players' experience.

Co-Op Progress Update


For now, third-person animations in Co-Op mode share the same assets as the first-person animations. To improve consistency and quality, I have to recreate them.

When Co-Op mode is released, I’ll start by adding the most frequently used animations first, then continue updating the rest through future patches. Some animations may look a bit off or incomplete in third-person until the full set is implemented.

Hey all! This update is sorta minor, mostly handling some minor bug fixes and visual fidelity.
