Despite 1.0 marking a major milestone for the game, we have already started to address some of the feedback that we received following the recent updates. So stay tuned for the 1.1 Quality of Life & UX update 🙂
Beyond that, we have started to tweak and add some more things related to your interactions and relationship with Onbu. This will be our 1.2 update which we are hoping to release later this year.

This key art perfectly encapsulates the many facets of Screamer: from the narrative to the high-octane gameplay, you’ll enjoy a unique and unforgettable gaming experience.

We know you can’t wait to learn more about the characters, which is why we have a little surprise for you. In the thrilling races of the Tournament, you won’t drive alone, but rather in a team. In Screamer, you will learn the stories of the five participating teams, and very soon you’ll be able to meet them.

Over the next few months, we will reveal every team that will embark on an all-hands-on-deck journey, starting with the Green Reapers. Stay tuned so you don’t miss any updates!

Sol Cesto - Hylda

Hello everyone!

Here is finally the first content update for Sol Cesto. This will be the smallest content update, mainly because the previous one was released less than 20 days ago. But this one adds an element we wanted to have in the game from the start: the flute. You’ll have to play a bit to find it and uncover its secrets. We won’t spoil anything, so here’s the list of changes included in this update:

  • The flute, which you’ll have to collect in several pieces, found at the spring.

  • A few melodies with magical effects, hidden in different places.

  • One small extra secret.

  • Balancing adjustments to the spawn rate of certain items.

  • Balancing changes to the fairy, who now only revives half of the hero’s health.

  • Fixes for numerous minor bugs (we know there are still some left, we’re working on it!)

As for what’s next, Chariospirale and I are currently discussing it. We know what we want to add to the game, but your feedback is making us rethink the order in which we’ll release things! We’d like the next update to be a big one, but first we need to be sure what we can include before updating the roadmap. Sorry about that! But as you’ve seen, less than a month passed between the last update and this one, so we’re actively working on the game and promise great things to come 🌞

Trash Goblin - MilkySmith

We're well clear of the bug fixing and patching phase of the post-launch plan, and are about to unleash our first big update on the world!

Trash Goblin 1.1 - The Spirit of Customer Service is going to be coming to Trash Goblin very soon, so keep an eye out for details. I literally sent the trailer for an audio pass earlier today, so that gives you an idea of how close you are to being able to enjoy it!

And as for the other updates - as per usual, we're keeping dates and too many other specifics to ourselves because we don't want to over-promise or disappoint you. That said, 1.2 is obviously going to be the update where we believe the game is ready to be enjoyed to its fullest on Steam Deck (alongside more new content, of course), 1.3 will see a bunch of exciting new features, and content focused around everyone's favourite Lizard merchant, Donoval! 1.4 is the fuzziest on here, and revolves around customisation... and then beyond that we've got plenty more up our sleeves too!

All of these updates will feature new content, quests, trinkets, bug fixes, polish, features and some of them will introduce brand new gameplay.

Expect some of this to land in 2025, some of it later, and as ever this is very much a work in progress and subject to change.

Bald Ball - AlbertFreeman
I tried implementing a COOP mode and a HARDCORE mode, but while doing, so I completely broke the game, and at that time I got really frustrated with this, so I abandoned the project. But never stopped thinking about it. So I decided to go back to the functional version of Bald Ball, the classic one, the intended one. No coop, no hardcore mode for now. In the future I would like to actually redo the game from scratch and make it right, but right now I can't, I don't have the time. Note that doesn't matter how much it takes me, and I don't care the game didn't meet sales expectations, I want to fix it at least for myself and my peace of mind. If anyone ever plays this hardcore frustrating game, I hope you have a great time.
