Introducing Los Santos Drug Wars, the opening chapter in a mind-expanding new GTA Online story update featuring a ragtag crew of new arrivals led by Dax, a man-on-the-edge with high hopes of dosing the world, getting rich, and climbing to the top of the Southern San Andreas criminal food chain..

Experience six wild new story missions as you help an outlandish group of new arrivals to Southern San Andreas establish a fledgling business venture running high-grade hallucinogenics out of a new mobile headquarters. Plus, expand your fleet of classic and contemporary rides, and so much more in the first part of Los Santos Drug Wars — now available.

FIRST DOSE

Dax and his group of hard-partying nonconformists, the Fooliganz, are looking to establish their position by setting up shop in Blaine County. Embark on the trip of a lifetime and join the troupe at a new base of operations — The Freakshop — and take on The Lost MC and other adversaries to dominate the illicit drug trade. Complete the First Dose in six new missions and acquire the necessary lab equipment to unlock access to an Acid Lab in the rear of the new MTL Brickade 6x6. Then establish your new mobile business with your own brand of mind-bending substances.

Get started by answering a call from Ron Jakowski and meeting up with the Fooliganz above Liquor Ace in Sandy Shores. Through December 21, earn 2X GTA$ and RP on all these new missions as you help Dax and the Fooliganz establish their foothold.

MEET THE TROUPE

Dax is many things to many people: the San Andreas Department of Corrections knows him as a repeat customer, a recently released violent, lewd, and lascivious offender. The Fooliganz in the troupe, on the other hand, recognize him as their leader, hero, narcotic messiah, and dude willing to go all the way for the cause. Dax will be your primary contact through First Dose.

The Fooliganz see themselves as less of a gang, and more of a tight-knit family of misfits that includes ravers, addicts, and outcasts of all stripes — including Luchadora, a metalhead wrestler who found a community in the Fooliganz and rose through the ranks to become Dax’s loyal second-in-command.

Good collaborations are all about chemistry. The Fooliganz are going to need help setting up and maintaining distribution throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. Labrat, The Freakshop’s resident chemist, will help you get the operation up and bubbling.

Ron Jakowski is so paranoid that friends say he lines the inside of his bucket hat with aluminum foil, but Nervous Ron is onto something for real this time. With Trevor gone, he’s discovered the seedy psychedelic underworld of the Fooliganz. He’ll be in touch shortly with an invitation, and you’ll get a chance to join the circus.

THE ACID BUSINESS

Looking to get into the wide world of psychedelics? Complete all of the missions in First Dose to steal the MTL Brickade 6x6, a heavy-duty vehicle that includes the Maibatsu Manchez Scout C motorcycle, which can be requested in Freemode and is used to deliver Acid Product.

Once you acquire the necessary lab equipment, the Brickade 6x6 will become your HQ to make your very own party drops on the go, and the talented Mutt will help you get your new business up and running. Install the Acid Lab upgrade at The Freakshop and source the ingredients, either by ordering supplies or procuring them using brute force, then manufacture and sell your product to those looking to open their third eye just a little bit wider.

Sourcing supplies can be as easy as paying Mutt to order them, or you can get your hands dirty by reclaiming runoff from Humane Labs, stealing grain and volatile chemicals. Rolling up your sleeves and putting in a short shift will even boost production speeds. Once cooked, the final product will need to be delivered to prospective buyers and kept out of the hands of the authorities.

THE FREAKSHOP

The troupe is a circus so huge that no tent in the world could cover it. But the Fooliganz hang out, cook up and trip at The Freakshop, a psychedelic haven under the Los Santos Highway. Here, you’ll be able to take advantage of access to a Weapon Workshop to upgrade your arsenal, as well as modify your MTL Brickade 6x6 and Maibatsu Manchez Scout C.

Your newly-acquired Brickade 6x6 may resemble a rolling cinder block but stowing it in The Freakshop will allow you to extensively modify and customize it to your liking. Tune the engine, armor, brakes, and more to transform your mobile business into an unstoppable force on the road — and slap on a decorative livery for good measure. Mod your new Manchez Scout C motorcycle to deliver product even faster, and you’ll be well on your way to becoming the most reputable name in hallucinogenics.

FOOL AROUND AND FIND OUT

A lot changed while Dax was in prison, and he’s dealing with a bit of culture shock adjusting to the outside: everyone vapes now, weed is legal, and all sorts of gangs moved in on the markets the Fooliganz used to run.

Help him make the FIB’s watchlist for activities that include running interference, sabotaging rival drug operations by poisoning crops, planting remote-controlled bombs, and other schemes. After joining the troupe and meeting their illustrious leader, pick up your phone and get in contact with Dax to request Fooligan Jobs that are kicking back 2X GTA$ and RP all week.

AGENT ULP RETURNS IN OPERATION PAPER TRAIL

Civilians on Highway 1 aren’t the only ones who are noticing the rising gas prices — Agent ULP of the IAA is hot on the case. He’s caught a whiff of a far-reaching criminal conspiracy, and a hefty dose of gasoline fumes, and now he’s convinced that the Duggans and the FIB are colluding to rig the price of oil. The implications are dire, and the details are scant, but he’ll be in touch soon.

The Criminal Enterprises features a wide range of GTA Online experience improvements — many of these the direct result of extensive and constructive feedback provided via our feedback website.

For those who like their personal space, business computers can now be accessed in private sessions. Now you can take on Sell and Source missions at your leisure, without the Armageddon of the competitive market. And for those who like the Armageddon, expect a boost in bonuses.

Players can now purchase max ammo for all their weapons in one go using the Interaction Menu. So quit wasting time looking through the ammo displays. Select all, load up, get straight back to the fight. After completing a few Security Contracts, Franklin will reveal the Agency’s dirtier work in Payphone Hits — off-the-books, street-level assassinations with bonuses paid out for following specific instructions. These assignments demand a low-profile — you’ll pick up the details by answering payphones around Los Santos.

MEET AT THE MUSIC LOCKER

If you are bound to meet anyone in The Music Locker’s uber-exclusive VIP section, it is Miguel Madrazo, club-rat son of Martin and Patricia and heir to the family’s empire. As he is prone to telling anyone within shouting distance, Miguel would do anything to defend the family’s “brand.”

It appears the Madrazo crime family is having some disagreements with El Rubio, so they’re looking for someone experienced to raid his near-impenetrable fortress, outmaneuver high-priced guards and high-tech security, and make off with some important files.

THE ISLAND OF CAYO PERICO

El Rubio prefers to hide out on Cayo Perico, his heavily fortified private party island, far away from the friendly and familiar confines of Los Santos. With all the constant beach-side raving and free-flowing drugs from the nearby crops, the island would look like a trendy resort-turned-festival, were it not for the paid henchmen standing around holding assault rifles.

Miguel has a seat on a private jet filled with DJs bound for Cayo Perico – this is your chance to infiltrate and scope out one of the most secure strongholds money can buy. Once there, slink away from the party to locate the compound where the files are stored. While you’re avoiding armed guards and security cameras, make note of any weaknesses like hidden entrances, exit points or other security flaws that may come in handy later on. Keep a low profile and gather as much information as you can to increase your chances of success when the time comes.

TAKING DOWN EL RUBIO

Unlike previous Heists, there is no specific style when it comes to approaching Cayo Perico. Once you’ve gathered the necessary gear, you can choose to complete as much (or as little) set-up and planning as you want – though be warned that these decisions will, in turn, affect the way the action unfolds. If you want to call in an airstrike or use a cutting torch to burn through steel beams, for example, you would be well advised to put the time in beforehand.

Once all the groundwork is laid down, you can nail down your final details before approaching Cayo Perico. These choices include how you infiltrate and escape the island, your weapons loadouts, air support, and even the operation’s time of day. As a result, no two approaches are alike on subsequent playthroughs. And repeat visits will allow you to heist valuable artifacts and other valuables as they become available.

There is also a load of extra opportunities you can use to play to your advantage, such as breaking into storage lockups to raid hidden stashes of cash and contraband to bolster your bottom-line and fatten up your take. These chances and the tools necessary to complete them will rarely be found in the same place twice – some are only accessible when playing with multiple players, so joining up with friends is very much encouraged.

SOLO PLAY

The Cayo Perico Heist is the first Heist that is playable completely solo from start to finish. Take on stealth recon, high octane shootouts and the epic score alone or team up with a Heist crew for extra support. Crack and take down the island of Cayo Perico any way you like.

THE KOSATKA SUBMARINE

What better headquarters for plotting the elaborate offshore raid on a private tropical island than a decommissioned nuclear submarine? Manned by Pavel, a former Soviet helmsman driven half-insane by his time spent under the waves, the Kosatka has everything you might need to plot a successful landing, including a bridge with a Heist Planning Screen; personal quarters for outfit changes; a mess hall, a brig, torpedo defenses, plus options to install a Mk II Weapons Workshop and Guided Missiles, and a Moon Pool that allows you to store vehicles like the new Sparrow helicopter and Kraken Avisa submersible to use however you see fit.

The Kosatka is navigable around the shores of Southern San Andreas, and with so many smugglers trafficking goods across the sea, there’s always cargo falling overboard. The optional Sonar Station can help find Hidden Caches strewn about the ocean floor for additional rewards. Don’t feel guilty about stealing contraband… feel smug about cleaning the ocean floor instead.

NEW MUSIC

The Music Locker is kicking things off proper with Moodymann headlining as the club’s debut resident DJ. Your connections in the hospitality industry may request assistance in making Moodymann’s stay in Los Santos as memorable as possible. If you take on this responsibility, you’re sure to be well compensated. With Georgina now calling the shots, and socially awkward criminal mastermind Lester Crest and his vast network of nefarious resources ready to assist, it’s time to take on an ambitious job where the security is state-of-the-art, the preparation options are near-limitless, and the take is off the charts.




Are you ready to carry out the ultimate heist? To plan a score this big you’ll need the right location, crew and gear. Fortunately for you, Lester has already sourced the perfect front. Meet up with Lester in Mirror Park, then tap into Maze Bank Foreclosures to acquire the new Arcade property.

Get the operation off the ground with a facelift by stocking it with some playable retro arcade cabinets and a little help from one of Lester’s family friends that’s looking to break into the ‘gaming’ industry. There are 12 new playable games, including:

  Once your Arcade is up and running, the basement planning area below is where the real work begins. The Hideout houses three planning boards and provides a place to store sourced getaway vehicles and heist prep equipment, as well as areas to stage rehearsals to practice cracking vaults and hacking doors with your crew. Gathering intel and preparing comprehensive reconnaissance with your crew will be crucial. As you take on preparatory missions you’ll have the option to go the extra mile by documenting various entry points, destroying supply shipments and gathering intel on security systems from an old associate and former Casino employee, all of which will reward you with more routes, approaches and options like getaway decoys when it comes to the big show.

You also need to make sure you have the right people at your disposal. Through Lester’s nefarious network of contacts you can hire support team members: bringing on the right driver, gunman and hacker are key – for the right price you’ll be able to hire some serious experts depending on how well connected you already are.



The Diamond Casino Heist gives you three distinct approaches to initially choose from, with multiple ways to execute your chosen approach. Choose Silent & Sneaky to enter undetected and try to make off with the haul before they even know what hit them. Engage in deception by going The Big Con route and masquerading as maintenance staff, pest control or other contractors. Or opt to go in guns blazing with the Aggressive approach – just be prepared to be met with increased resistance.



For each approach, you’ll have a series of choices for how you want to complete every step of the Heist. And if at any time your attempts at stealth or subterfuge somehow fail, you will still be able to complete the mission by dealing with any changing scenarios and pushing through to the end with your last remaining lives.
