Hey everyone.
-I think I fixed the crashing issue. Tested this build on opentest branch and It seemed to be working fine.
-Fixed some artifacts not upgrading.
-Increased font size in weapons upgrade menu
-Added Artifact Extreme Protocol indicator to the Leech Chance stat panel. And Extreme Protocol only affects Leech Chance now.

Passant: A Chess Roguelike - honey and chips
  • Ducks can no longer slip
  • Ducks are excluded from badges that randomly upgrade (they can still be upgraded if forced to, for example the "Right Place" badge or the upgrade square)
  • Knight men and rook men now promote the same way as regular knights or rooks (if you have a badge that allows those promotions)
  • The line showing the dragon kings position on the setup board no longer shows when hovering the badge in a match
  • Badges bought and sold during a run no longer get a crown on the stats page when you beat a run. You must have them in your possession still.
  • Fixed an issue where "Coin Exchange" wasn't triggering at match start
  • Bullet chess changed to 4 seconds per turn, blitz is now 7 seconds
  • Cherry cost increased to $6 from $5

Hello!

This is the Freestyle 2 Development Team.

A balance hotfix will be applied to address issues identified after the August 13th patch.

Since the August 6th balance patch, we have been closely monitoring various play patterns and stat efficiency changes.

During this process, we identified parts where the efficiency was excessively higher or lower than intended and will be making adjustments accordingly.

The Freestyle 2 Development Team will continue to monitor the game to provide a more enjoyable and pleasant environment, and we will apply necessary improvements quickly.

Please check the detailed changes below and feel free to share your feedback on the balance patch.

~ After the balance patch, the “Defensive Power Forward” trait skill for PF
positions will be reset. Please check your trait skills before playing.




1. Skill Balance Adjustments
→ [Fast Drift Shot] The base speed of the Fast Drift Shot skill will be slightly reduced.

2. Play Coefficient Adjustments
A. Physical Contact Stat Adjustments
→ In driving situations, the collision range based on the physical contact stat will be reduced.
→ The general collision range for positions other than big men (C, PF, CT) will be reduced.

B. Steal Coefficient Adjustments
→ Steal efficiency will be slightly reduced compared to the August 6th patch.

3. Trait Skill Adjustments
A. Rebound & Block Center (C)
→ Added a stat that reduces the motion of the Box-Out Swim Move.

B. 3-Point Specialist Shooting Guard (SG)
→ When equipping the “Jab Step Timing Fake Enhancement” skill in the [Main] stage,
it will now be possible to chain Side Step Back with X and C inputs.

C. Defensive Power Forward (PF)
→ The “Power Alley-oop” skill will be moved from the [Legend] stage to the [All-Star] stage.
→ The “Power Rebound” skill’s “Power Rebound Range Increase” stat will be adjusted. (+36 → +24)

4. Other Balance Adjustments
→ [Shot Arc Probability Adjustments] When big men (C, PF, CT) are in close-range contests near the basket,
the probability of a high-point arc trajectory will increase.
