Hello Cinema Managers!

We've been working quietly behind the scenes for a while. Although this update doesn't introduce major new features, we made some important improvements to enhance your overall experience:

🎬 Performance improvements across several areas. The game should now feel smoother, especially in some scenes.

🛠️ Minor bug fixes were implemented. (Most of these were potential issues that many players might not have noticed yet.)

🌎 Localization updates: Corrected minor translation mistakes and missing strings in certain languages.

🔍 Small adjustments made to some in-game texts to improve readability and clarity.

⚙️ Minor optimization work was done to slightly improve loading times.

This update prepares the foundation for bigger content updates coming soon. Enjoy managing your cinema!

  • Updated Asteroid Base and Derelict:
    - Reworked lighting
    - Improved texturing
    - Improved geometry for various room types
  • Players will now always start levels with a minimum of 1000 per primary ammo type
  • Pillager adjusted:
    - Max ammo increased 1 -> 2
    - Ammo rate reduced 0.25 -> 0.125
  • Impulse adjusted:
    - Ammo cost increased 5/8/11 -> 7/10/13
  • Autopulser adjusted:
    - Upgrade cost increased 50000 -> 60000
    - Ammo cost increased 5.5/6/6.5 -> 6/6.5/7
  • Ack-Am upgrade cost increased 50000 -> 70000
  • Improved lighting for large forcefields
  • Reduced Plasma firing sound volume
  • Added sound priority system
    - Certain sounds can no longer be interrupted by other sounds
    - High priority sounds include firing and detonation sounds for mines and secondaries
  • Various changes for reducing memory usage
  • Fixed an issue where levels could generate too small room entrances that where impassable

Nephilim Resurrection - BruiseViolet
Hi gang,

The Arrogant Pixel LTD team has been hard at work on our latest mini project, Nephilim Resurrection. We dropped a big update on Steam last week, but I'm not here to talk about the game specifically...

If you know me IRL, you'll know I have a past in the music industry. This game gave us a chance to flex our musical muscles and create something we're truly proud of.

The Book of Apkallu is the second mini EP we've released to accompany Nephilim Resurrection, and it's just as heavy as the previous one. We've already won an award for our soundtrack, thanks to Game Dev Local. I'm 100000% sure you're going to love this one too.

We even got our good friend, James Jackson (former lead guitarist for Employed to Serve) to guest on one of the tracks. He's graced us with a face-melting solo—can you guess which one he played on?

With this update, the software is no longer falsely reported as a virus. Players can use it with confidence.
The shortcut keys you set will need to be set again.
The function is the same as the old version, temporarily removing the interface to the dynamic mouse, streamlining some functions to make it easier for users to use.
Currently, users only need to click on "Perfect Desktop" and "Auto" to complete the configuration.
New version that supports video files as wallpapers. Intelligently pause playback in the form of whether the window is full-screen. Shortcuts are still supported.
Other features of the new version are the same as the old version, but there may be bugs in some computers, so it is not recommended for old users to update this version.

Friends, my indie game Devil Corporation: Onboarding has officially launched on Steam today.

Its most defining feature is undoubtedly its theme of "workers versus capitalists."
Throughout development, I’ve been repeatedly cautioned to "stay positive," "consider the bigger picture," and "stop preaching about things you don’t understand"—after all, I’m just a corporate drone with over a decade of grind, oblivious to the hardships of business owners.

To these well-intentioned reminders, my response is: You own a computer too. Feel free to make "big-picture" games or write stories about the struggles of CEOs.
My experiences have shaped my perspective—this is the energy life has given me. To others, it might seem worthless, but to me, it’s the nutrients that have nourished Devil Corporation: Onboarding.

Of course, as my first solo-developed game, it’s far from polished—in fact, it’s deeply imperfect.
Despite working in game studios for over a decade, this is my unprecedented attempt at handling everything alone: code learned from scratch, art cobbled together through community support and friends’ generosity, and design forged through iterative trial-and-error.

With the launch, I’m overwhelmed with reflections and want to pour out the lessons learned on this journey. Let’s grow together!

Update announcement:
In order to reduce the number of stuck activities as much as possible
1. Alliance BOSS reward distribution rules adjusted:
-When killing BOSS, offline time is less than 12 hours or online alliance members will receive rewards
2. In the siege gameplay, if the player's time does not match, you only need to send a team to the alliance giant catapult in advance. When the siege begins, the stationed team will automatically fire artillery with the giant catapult to get the siege reward
3. Added description of the skill body in the rune description (note that runes will not add additional skills, only strengthen the equipped skills), and runes are also effective for skill stones
4. Added lord equipment fragment decomposition, 1 fragment = 2 silver coins
5. Optimized client performance (mainly for the situation where there are too many floor tiles and flying heroes are turned on)
