Hey everyone!

Thank you all for the incredible support since launch. It's been amazing to see your feedback, secrets shared, and speedruns popping up. This second update brings a splash of speed and clarity to your journey across Primal Planet, literally. 🐬🌊 Whether you’re still exploring or deep into the late game, this patch adds new ways to move, navigate, and uncover secrets.


🚀 What’s New in This Update!


DOLPHIN RIDING! 🐬💨🌊

🐬 Swim up to a dolphin to auto-grab its fin and ride!

💨 Swim twice as fast

。˚○ No oxygen loss

🎮 Full control over movement

🌟 Bite with normal attack

💦 Let go with roll/dash button

🐬 Dolphins can also be found in rare deep locations


MAP IMPROVEMENTS! 🌍🗺️

🤫 Local maps now show how many secrets you’ve found!

🧭 In addition to your village, lost tribe members, the mountain tribe, underwater alien facility, and your daughter's location, the world map now also shows:

🔑💙 Blue Keycard

🔑🍊 Orange Keycard

🌀 Portals

🏕️ Potential village locations

🧩 Connections between different areas

🧑‍ Lost vilagers appear on your local map if you're in the same area

Note: Many of these only appear after the game's introduction. Before that you can simply follow a question mark or village icon in your local map.

OTHER FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

💨 Swim Boosters no longer cause dashing, but still temporarily increase your speed and restore oxygen.

🗺️ Fixed an issue where unrevealed maps didn’t show level exits you’d already visited.

🚧 Fixed a progression-breaking bug that allowed players to bypass the mountain tribe trap sequence.

Ahoy, Sailors!

For today's patch we got a few balance updates and quality of life features. Don't forget to leave a review!

Patch Notes

Weapons

  • Mines: maxed lifetime reduced from 3 minutes to 1 minute

  • Laser: Increased Laser base damage and DoT from 1 to 2. fixed an issue where damage wouldn't appear in the selection screen

  • Spinner: fixed weapon description

  • Updated bullet graphics for certain gun weapons

Crew

  • Biologist/Collector: For each collected item gain a coin per boat level Instead of 10 coins

  • Racer/Evasive Maneuver: added +10% dodge chance, reduced dodge chance per steering level from 1.5% to 1%

Enemies

  • Crabs: fixed an issue where crabs would remain after defeating the king crab

  • Snail: increased trail contrast and added noise

Visuals

  • Stats and cargo remain available for inspection post-run

  • Fixed a minor text issue for maxed stats

General

  • Increased max available cargo to purchase by 2

  • Added 10-value coins

  • Fixed an issue where 5-value coins wouldn't show the correct visuals

  • Deliveries now spawn coin drops using mixed denominations from highest to lowest

  • Coins now aggregate outside view to improve performance

  • Fixed an issue where audio wouldn't start properly

🌟 Profiles Have Arrived!

The wait is over — Profiles are now in Scope X!
You can now assign your Zoom Settings, Keybinds, and Accessibility Settings to specific profiles, and even associate them with a process for quick swapping.

What's New:
  • Create and save multiple profiles with your own settings
  • Associate profiles with specific processes for quick activation
  • Auto Profile Detection toggle — Scope X can switch profiles automatically when you’re in a mapped process
  • New theming across the Customize page to clearly show your active profile


    Small Updates:
  • Updated text in some help articles
  • Updated Customize page icon to better match the Scope X logo
  • Fixed the focus outline feather setting to be more concise

Update 1.2
is live!

This update adds a couple requested features, quality-of-life improvements, and some cleanup behind the scenes.

**What's new:**

- The addition of an instant-restart hotkey for speedrunners! You can set the binding in the control setup

- You can now add lava to your custom levels!

Twiwood Tales - ENTITIES



Fixed:

  • Punitor Natium technique could be learned multiple times.

  • Side improvement branches for Punitor Natium were not purchasable.

Changes:

  • Punitor Natium – Speed upgrades → now changed to Duration upgrades.

    • Each level adds +3 seconds of technique performance time.

    • All levels together = +15 seconds total, on top of HST scaling.

  • Punitor Natium – Damage upgrades:

    • Each level adds +10% total slap damage.

    • All levels together = +50% total damage, on top of STR scaling.

Other Improvements:

  • Pause menu can now be closed with the Esc key.

Ship Explorer - Turbine Room Studio

Patch 1.02 is live now, addressing the following issues:

  • Bug fixes with interact system

  • Bug fixes with navigation

  • Added tracker to display the total number of narrations and photos found in the level

  • Input hints were added to all levels that do not have an intro cinematic (Drydock)

  • Fixed total number of narrations and photos showing incorrect number when inside Morro Castle Interior

  • Updates button on main menu now points to the correct page

  • Fixed position of pause menu details when UI scale is low

  • Fixed weather widget not being scrollable on gamepad when UI scale is high

  • Controller interaction enhancements and bug fixes

  • Fixed typos and grammatical errors in descriptions of found photos

  • Bug fixes with shading issues

  • Bug fixes with teleporting

  • Bug fixes with collisions
