We've updated Fourmiworld to Version 1.0.1 Stickbug.

This is a small patch with some fixes to a few issues we noticed with the map as well as some tweaks and small additions to a certain tenodera.

Read a more detailed list below, but beware of potential spoilers for things you may not have found.


  • Psychic Mantis is now able to be about 20% cooler.

  • Nish Nosh is now available on the main menu once you've beaten the game, rather than after you obtain the Real Nosh Head achievement.

  • Tweaked entrance cave design slightly.

  • Fixed an issue when obtaining seed upgrades.

  • Tweaked the Hyperkicks entry within the Fourmipedia.

  • Fixed a few end-game issues.

  • Scorcozore tweaks.

  • A few other misc technical changes.

Greetings, bushcrafters!

This update is a little bit bigger one, including lots of bug fixes, gameplay adjustments, and UI improvements. Many long-standing issues have been addressed, smoothing out rough edges.

While solving a good number of bugs, there are still a few elusive ones “hiding in bushes”. Tracking them down is an ongoing process, but the hunt is going well, and each step forward brings the game closer to a more stable and better experience.

In the next update, the bleeding system will be refined to feel more immersive and slightly eased for players

New Features:
  • Cracked trees
    - New tree type that requires fewer chops to harvest.
    - Beware: in windy weather, some cracked trees may fall. Avoid building too close!
    - Can be identified by cracks along the trunk, but spotting them takes a bit of observation.
  • Quick torch
    - A faster, easier torch to craft (no grease-based set material needed).
    - Burns out faster than regular torches.
  • Inventory Item Swapping
    - You can now swap items directly in your inventory, making it quicker to organize without extra hassle.
  • Flat stone spawns
    - Flat stone locations have always been a bit of a mystery — until now.
    - They now appear in specific rock formations, giving players a clearer idea of where to search.
    - Spawn locations are still completely random for each new game.
    - Easier difficulties will spawn more flat stones than harder difficulties.

Minor Updates & Fixes:
  • Awake, calories, and hydration percentages are now displayed in the player panel
  • Removed the wedge requirement when chopping logs.
  • Subtitles added to the opening cutscene.
  • Added some greenish colors to highlight raw materials belonging to a set.
  • Fixed an issue where torches could not be crafted on a flat stone.
  • Corrected an issue where some fish would turn into the wrong fish type after cooking.
  • Fixed thunder weather improperly persisting e.g. during sunny weather.
  • Some daylight colors adjusted.
  • Fine-tuned player gravity and jumping.
  • Plant fiber can now only be obtained from certain woody type foliage.
  • Minor UI improvements
  • Minor bug fixes

I just want to let you, the people who have bought this game and supported me, know that I’m afraid I cannot continue working. My beautiful Dachshund, Teji, who was 13 years and 7 months old, passed away three weeks ago. I didn’t have her for very long, we were together for her last 3 years and 2 months , and I really feel it wasn’t enough time. I loved her so much. She was my constant companion during all this time, always by my side while I worked in isolation on this game. Honestly, I think I could have given her more time if I hadn’t been so focused on working, and I’m filled with regrets… so many “if only” thoughts. I’m in so much pain right now that I can’t even look at her photos. I love her deeply, and I miss her beyond words.

She was my companion, my emotional support, my angel. I have been a very lonely person all my life, and she showed me what love truly is. With her, I never felt alone. Now everything feels empty. I’m also upset because of all the neglect she endured earlier in her life , her former owners had her for so many years and only made her suffer, letting her heart get sick. It’s so unfair that we only had 3 years together. I tried to make those years the best of her life: peaceful, happy, surrounded by love, with no more separation anxiety, no more loneliness , only kind words, cuddles, and peace. I miss you, Teji. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you. I have never feel so much pain in my life before.

Right now, I don’t have the strength to continue working on this game , a game whose constant theme is death… I just can’t do it

Hey everyone!

First of all, I want to once again thank you for the incredibly warm reception of the game. I honestly didn’t expect such amazing support, 91% positive reviews! I’m deeply grateful for every message, review, opinion, and gameplay video you’ve shared.

I’d like to share some news about the game’s future:
  • Steam Community Items are here! I’ve prepared a set of unique trading cards, emoticons, backgrounds, and badges as a thank-you for your amazing support.

  • Localization update in progress! New languages are on the way and are currently being prepared.

  • Steam Deck support planned this likely won’t arrive sooner than 1–2 months from now.

  • And most importantly… after reading your reviews, I agree that some parts of the game don’t fully reflect our choices, and that more endings would make the story more complete. As a solo developer, time and energy are always a challenge, but… I’d like to release a free Content Update adding new endings, a few interesting puzzles, and a conclusion that clears up the remaining mysteries of the plot. This will be a big free update (not DLC), it’s still far from ready, but I’m excited about it! ːsteamhappyː

Once again, thank you for all the feedback, both positive and negative, which helped me see what worked perfectly and what could be improved.
