You should find trading card drops in your inventory immediately if you have sufficient playtime in-game, or else you'll now unlock them at regular intervals during play.

Hey everyone, I've been meaning to write this post for a little while now. Some of you may have noticed since my last announcement about a planned expansion that nothing has yet to surface. Over the last year or so since I made the announcement, I had struggled to finish writing the expansion in a way that felt satisfactory for the tone/humor of the original game.

Between not being able to find a direction I was happy with, and the prospect of a free expansion looking less and less like it will ultimately be able to pay for its own development costs in giving the game new exposure given the lack of timeliness, I have decided to cancel the expansion and move on to other projects.

Ultimately I'd rather put out something I'm happy with, and I hope you'll understand. If you liked Doodle Date, I still hope you'll consider following me to see what projects I'll have in store in future. You can follow me on Twitter or my developer page on Steam.

With that said, while Doodle Date will remain a standalone one-off entry, I am in the process of adding Steam Badges, Trading Cards, Emoticons and Backgrounds! They are all finished and ready to go, I'm just waiting for Steam's approval before I set them live.

Hey everyone! Many of you have asked since launch whether or not there would be additional content coming to the game, and today I'm excited to announce a FREE expansion - The Investigation - is coming soon!

The Investigation is a whole new chapter to Doodle Date, taking place after the events of the main game. It will star a whole new protagonist, new and returning love interests to pursue, and of course many more doodling opportunities and surprises!

More info to come as things progress, so stay tuned, doodlers. ;)

Здравствуйте and hello again! I bring some exciting news today, as I have just launched a new update for Doodle Date that has added support for the Russian Language, now available in the "Language" section on the Main Menu!

This is a complete translation of the whole game, coming to you courtesy of a Russian-speaking Doodle Date fan who wishes to be known by their social media Vkontakte group name Кузня Переводов along with their partner in crime, Walk-y! Thank you guys again so much for volunteering your time towards helping me make this translation available!

Incidentally, behind the scenes I had to make some fundamental changes to the way the game reads text from dialog/UI files, so future translations should be a piece of cake to implement now, provided someone is willing to translate.
