Crossroads Inn, the game in which you build and run your own fantasy pub, now has a release date, 23rd October, which is rather soon!

In Crossroads Inn, there are two main modes. One is the sandbox mode you expect, where you build and run your own tavern, staffing it, supplying it, revelling in it, probably. The other mode is the campaign - there's a big old story, apparently. The kingdom is turmoil and the power is shifting, and this all plays out at tables around your pub, just like in EastEnders.

Crossroads Inn Kickstarted at the beginning of 2019. It's made by a small Polish team called Kraken Unleashed, which includes the composer from The Witcher 3. It's a $20/€20 game and will be released on PC, Mac and Linux.

Crossroads Inn, a fantasy tavern simulator - probably the best game idea in the world - has taken to Kickstarter.

This is the RPG tavern sim we wrote about last autumn. It lets you design and build your very own tavern in a fantasy world, and manage, stock and staff it.

As your popularity rises, more people of more influence will pass through. You will house adventurers (sometimes with griffin), politicians, lords and ladies, and bend their sozzled ears to your wise words - allowing you to involve yourself in kingdom-shaping decisions.
