And with all the new stuff, came more fixes for some of the top issues that have popped up since we launched DLC 3 last week. Details below:

FEATURE UPDATES
  • NEW Liberty Strike Community Event is now live!
  • NEW Weapons: ZK-383, De Lisle, AVS-36, and Push Dagger
  • NEW Content: Weapon Camos, Weapon Charms, Helmets, etc.
  • NEW Community Challenge: 260 Million Multiplayer Match Wins!
  • NEW Ranked Play Season 5 is now live! Keep an eye out for top 100 rewards from Season 4.
  • NEW Division: CAVALRY - The Cavalry is an objective-focused Division that leads the way forward to victory. This new Division wields the Cavalry Shield, which offers protection against enemy attacks. The Cavalry Division also has improved objective capabilities, which include capturing Domination flags faster, planting bombs in S&D quicker, and swiftly building and destroying walls in War Mode. To make this the true team-play Division, the Cavalry also gets more score from objectives, and every two assists equal a kill. Lastly, the Cavalry can get back to the objective quicker (and ram enemies on the way) by entering a Shield Charge while sprinting. When used expertly, the Cavalry can change the tide of battle and get that tank across the line. See below for more details on what “improved objective capabilities” entails.
  • NEW Basic Training: Escalation - If you love rushing with an SMG, then the Escalation Basic Training was made for you. After each kill, you can aim down sights twice as fast for a short period. This allows you to snap on to targets and take them down in rapid succession. Double Kills with Escalation instantly refill your magazine, so that you can keep slaying the opposition.
  • NEW Basic Training: Wanderlust - The new Wanderlust Basic Training is similar to personal Gun Game. Each life, you respawn with a new random gun (which has up to 6 attachments). And pressing TRIANGLE or Y (weapon switch) will provide a new weapon. This unusual Basic Training makes each life feel unique as you use whatever weaponry is available.
  • NEW Basic Training: Specialist - When equipped, Specialist allows you to select 3 Basic Trainings to earn instead of Scorestreaks. At 200, 400, and 600 score, you unlock each Basic Training. And at 800 score, you are granted all Basic Trainings in the game. Progress resets on death, so stay alert. Specialist allows skilled players to feel the power of having multiple Basic Trainings at once.
  • Infected mode continues! Find it in the Party Games tab.

MULTIPLAYER

Connectivity/Spawns/Performance/Split Screen/Mechanics
  • Fixed functionality issues experienced when restarting the game after backing out to a previous menu
  • Fixed split screen issue where players would get stuck while viewing another player using a mounted LMG
  • Fixed issue where players would crash when trying to load into MP after idling for 5 minutes
  • Fixed issue where CWL Team Pack Weapon Camos were locked in LAN

Maps
  • Fixed issue where players were receiving memory error messages when attempting to load into Gibraltar
  • Fixed wall exploit in Valkyrie
  • Fixed issue where camera is zoomed in when players load into War Mode on Operation Neptune HQ
  • Fixed issue where players were able to start 1v1 matches in the Firing Range
  • Fixed issue where players were unable to take on obtain Contracts

  • Fixed split screen issue where players would crash in between rounds of a War Mode match

  • Fixed issue where white background was appearing in Match selection menus
  • Fixed issue where incorrect Uniform was showing up when players selected a Helmet
  • Various UI fixes and improvements (typos, text descriptions, error messages, notification icons, AAR, ammo counters, menu navigation, Firing Range, weapon animations, supply drop menus, Quartermaster menus, Ranked Play menus, floating gamertags in split screen, Calling Cards)
  • Fixed UI functionality loss issue experienced when players were in the process of Prestiging
  • Fixed issue where Prestige Unlock Token UI was present when it shouldn’t be

Audio
  • Fixed issue where audio was not present when rotating or changing Paintjob decals

RANKED PLAY
  • Fixed issue where when a match ends due to a disconnect, all players were receiving losses for Placement matches instead of a voided result

WEAPONS/SCORESTREAKS
  • Fixed issue where shotguns loaded with Incendiary Shells were disappearing when players were killed
  • Adjusted angle at which Mortar Strikes and Artillery Barrage fire, so that these streaks’ paths behave as expected

DIVISIONS/BASIC TRAINING
  • Fixed issue where switch Cavalry to another Division would cause players to have 2 Primary Weapons

Cavalry III Improved Objective Capabilities:
  • Search and Destroy/Demolition: Quick plant/defuse, Silent plant/defuse
  • Domination: Quick Cap
  • Hardpoint: Held XP (awards for staying in the zone)
  • Capture the Flag: Flag location on mini-map updates less frequently, plus 20 health shield when holding flag
  • Gridiron: Ball location on mini-map updates less frequently, plus an extra 30 health shield when holding flag (total of 130 health shield while holding flag)
  • Team Deathmatch/Free-for-All: Every two assists/crossfires awards a "Cavalry Assist/Crossfire," which equals a kill

War Mode:
  • Core Objective speed is not affected (i.e. Tank push speed unaffected, objective bomb plant speed unaffected, captive-untying speed unaffected, flag raise speed unaffected, etc.)
  • Quicker Builds/Destroys (of walls, barbed wire, tank spikes, etc.)
  • Receive XP while Securing hardpoint zones
  • Receive XP while Escorting Tank and at Tank Checkpoints

ZOMBIES
  • Fixed UI issue with chapter progress boxes in split screen
  • Fixed issue in The Tortured Path with Geist Bomb steps in Sword of Barbarossa
  • Fixed UI issue where Special Camos were unlocked and appearing twice in menus
  • Fixed UI issue in The Tortured Path where incorrect wave number was displayed in AAR after players failed an objective wave
  • Fixed issue where players’ progression on The Tortured Path was being interrupted by playlist updates
  • Various UI and art fixes and improvements (Camouflage menus, subtitles, supply drop icons, description text, timers, AAR, typos, prompt messages, ammo counters, objective UI, weapon animations, Jack in the Box cards)
  • Fixed issue where players were loading in with default “No Preference,” despite having selected a character preference
  • Fixed UI issue with chapter progress boxes in split screen
  • Fixed issue where players attempting to navigate Orders menu were redirected to Contracts Menu

MOONRAVEN: Recently, we’ve been trying out new ways to connect the Multiplayer and Zombies communities and create more crossover between the modes. Hence, our Attack of the Undead Community Event, which featured zombies in MP. This time, we’re giving the community more opportunities to get awesome gear that is native to Zombies, like the Moonraven Character/Uniform.

That’s why we rolled out new Contracts that are available in both Multiplayer and Zombies and that unlock cool new Zombies stuff in both modes. Whether you get these Contracts from Rideau, the Quartermaster in Nazi Zombies or from Captain Butcher, the current Quartermaster in Multiplayer, you have a chance to earn Moonraven variants. Once you complete one Contract (starting with the Moonraven Mountaineer Contract), another one will subsequently become available for you to complete.

Hey everyone,

We pushed out some hot fixes today on PC for a few top issues that popped up since our title update last Tuesday. Below are the details:
  • Fixed Attack of the Undead Community Challenge UI issue with Zombies kill counter (All kills have still been tracking and counting properly. This was only a UI issue.)

  • Fixed issue with UI displaying incorrect end date of the Attack of the Undead Community Event. The event ends on June 26 at 10AM PDT.

  • Fixed issue where end of Ranked Play Season 2 Helmet rewards for the top 100 players were displaying the wrong Season number

  • Distributed end of Ranked Play Season 3 Helmet rewards for the top 100 players (Check your Mail)

  • Fixed issue where Camos and Paintjobs were being removed from weapons and not displaying properly

  • Fixed issue with incorrect spawn site placements for S&D on Sainte Marie du Mont

  • Fixed issue where party members were able to join a match via the new playlist tiles without the party leader

This morning, we rolled out a MASSIVE game update for Call of Duty: WWII. We've launched our new Community Event, Attack of the Undead, and HQ is swarming with Nazi Zombies. Thank you to everyone who tuned in to our livestream about it! Now, without further ado, here's a list of the top new features and fixes that went live this morning:

  • Fixed functionality loss issue when pressing Options after loading into HQ
  • Fixed issue where players lose functionality after leaving the Theater
  • Fixed issue where players go into Firing Range with incorrect loadout

UI/Art
  • Fixed UI issue with opening supply drops after being pulled into the 1v1 pit
  • Fixed UI issues with the Dynamo variant in Multiplayer
  • Various UI and art fixes and improvements (menu navigation, select functionality, text prompts, typos, weapon display, Paintjob display and controls, Reticle display, floating Lens Sights inspect animations, clipping issues, Daily Order descriptions, Find Match menu, Soldier menu, incorrect error messages, supply drop cards, Firing Range, 1v1 pit, green star notification issues)
  • Fixed various issues with Orders not appearing to track properly
  • Added expiration message in the Orders menu for non-Community Event Contracts

Audio
  • Fixed issue where VO announcer audio was missing for Scorestreaks
  • Fixed issues with missing audio for various weapon actions and motions

WEAPONS
  • Fixed fire rate issues experienced when player has Combat Shotgun equipped with Incendiary Shells and Rapid Fire

DIVISIONS/BASIC TRAINING/ATTACHMENTS TUNING

Airborne: Buffed “Sprint faster over time”
  • Old: 4% faster and increase to 10%
  • New: 7% faster and increase to 10%
  • Explanation: The Energetic Basic Training is a flat 7% faster, so this change puts Airborne back on the map as the movement Division.

Saboteur Basic Training: Nerfed effectiveness of Satchel and S-Mine when using Saboteur Basic Training
  • Old: 0.0 sec fuse for Satchel and 0.1 sec delay for S-Mine detonation
  • New: 0.5 sec fuse for Satchel and 0.2 sec delay for S-Mine detonation
  • Explanation: We’ve heard your feedback about Saboteur and so we added a small delay before Satchel and S-Mines detonate to reduce strength. We’ve adjusted how Saboteur interacts with the Flanker Basic Training so that it no longer cancels it out and has its own detonation time.

Rifle Grenade Attachment: Buffed explosive min and max damage
  • Old: 25 min damage and 120 max damage
  • New: 35 min damage and 125 max damage
  • Explanation: The Rifle Grenade was relatively weak and wasn’t as useful as we intended it to be, so this buff should make it a more viable option.

Launched Basic Training: Buffed by increasing launcher damage when using Launched Basic Training
  • New: Launchers now deal 30% more damage with Launched Basic Training than before
  • Explanation: When we rolled out our Divisions Overhaul in April, we nerfed the strength of launchers to ensure that they wouldn’t dominate the play space and would rather be used primarily to take out Scorestreaks. This change makes this Basic Training and the use of launches a better option for a wider variety of playstyles.

Bayonet Charge/Attachment: Added a sprint speed increase while charging
  • New: +4% sprint speed
  • Explanation: With the addition of unlimited sprint for all, the Bayonet Charge lost its movement advantage, so we added a speed increase while charging that makes it more viable for closing space between you and an enemy.

Tactical Knife Attachment: Buffed by adding a melee speed increase when you have Tactical Knife Attachment equipped
  • New: 15% quicker than standard melee speed
  • Explanation: Now that Tactical Knife fills an Attachment slot, there is less of a reason to use it over a melee weapon. This small buff makes it more usable.

Shifty Basic Training: Buffed by increasing number of additional Pistol Attachments
  • Old: 1 additional pistol attachment
  • New: 2 additional pistol attachments
  • Explanation: Shifty Basic Training is currently on the low-end of Basic Training usage. This change should make using pistols more viable outside of the Infantry Division.

GAMEBATTLES/CoDCASTER/ESPORTS MODE
  • Fixed issue in GameBattles where Restricted Items were displaying in default loadouts
  • Fixed issue where when spectating in CoDCaster mode, players with Infantry Division equipped will not appear to have a Division patch in the Division info display

ZOMBIES
  • Fixed UI issues with the Dynamo variant for Nazi Zombies
  • Fixed functionality and UI issues with post-match lobbies
  • Fixed UI issue where notifications where not populating properly
  • Fixed issue in The Shadowed Throne where ammo was not able to be replenished for the Ripsaw
  • Fixed issue in The Shadowed Throne where players were able to kill to kill the human, as well as the zombie, in vignettes
  • Fixed various map exploits on The Shadowed Throne
  • Fixed issue where splitscreen players lost functionality when simultaneously pressing Back and Select
  • Fixed issues with completing certain quests in The Shadowed Throne
  • Fixed UI issue where incorrect rarities were displaying for Supply Drop item cards

WEAPONS/SCORESTREAKS
  • Fixed issue where unlocking new Scorestreaks also equips them when players have three already equipped
  • Fixed issue where players were able to reload the Combat Shotgun past the max amount of ammo
  • Fixed explosive scorestreaks behavior underwater
  • Fixed Combat Shotgun exploit
  • Nerfed the Volkssturmgewehr (Increased recoil and decreased damage range to be more on par with other rifles in its class)
RANKED PLAY
  • Pushed through some fixes for issue where players were losing MMR
  • Fixed issue where when Player 1 (party leader) leaves a lobby, Player 2 will not be automatically pulled out with Player 1
  • Various UI fixes and improvements (icons, menu tabs)
  • Fixed issue where when one player is kicked for inactivity, remaining players were also kicked
GAMEBATTLES/CoDCASTER/ESPORTS MODE
  • Fixed issues with lobby placement
  • Fixed UI issues with Soldier tab and MLG Divisions
  • Fixed issue where Team two (Axis)’s objective colors were not updating properly
  • Fixed issue where some restricted items were still able to be equipped
ZOMBIES
  • Various UI fixes and improvements (menu displays, description text, weapon personalization, text overlap, unlock requirements, bleed out bar)
  • Fixed issue in TDS where some players who were revived were teleported out of playable area
  • Fixed issue where upgraded camo was not displaying for various weapons
  • Fixed issues with Wüstling and other zombies pathing and behavior
  • Fixed functionality issues with 9mm SAP
  • Fixed issues with upgrading the Ripsaw
  • Fixed issue where Pommel grenade fails to regenerate uses
  • Eliminated fall damage (meaning, it can no longer take your armor)
  • Reduced “red screen of death” opacity to make it less obfuscating
  • Fixed issue with the Zombies “Super Ability” key being lit in Multiplayer and Campaign
  • Fixed issue with “Hold Show Scores” being lit on keyboard in Zombies

We just rolled out a big game update with the following:

FEATURE UPDATES
  • Updates to loot system: More details here.
  • Operation: Shamrock & Awe Community Event in MP and Zombies
  • New content (weapons, camos, uniforms, charms, reticles, etc)
  • Shipment 1944 (available Season Pass holders today, and for free for non-Season Pass holders starting March 16th)

MULTIPLAYER

Connectivity/Spawns/Performance/Split Screen/Mechanics
  • Fixed issue in Hardcore where players were able to rejoin a match from which they were just kicked
  • Fixed issue where Player 2 in split screen on a guest account was being kicked to Local Play when creating first loadout Offline
  • Fixed issue where players were crashing when equipping Scorestreaks
  • Fixed issue where players crash after accepting invites to a public War match
  • Fixed issue where matches were not starting properly from Featured playlists
  • Fixed loss of functionality issue when players return to MP Menu after completing match in Local Play
  • Fixed Discord presence image when at the Main Menu
  • Fixed various issues with split screen exploits
  • Fixed issue with Party Privacy Settings changing between Multiplayer and Zombies
