Each year the SXSW Sydney Games Festival, curates themed showcases to give games a bigger spotlight, putting them together in a custom launcher and letting attendees run wild with them!

Outside of our regularly scheduled showcase at SXSW (see our other post), a mostly-not-broken-please-don't-exit-the-map-menu demo will be available as part of the Queer Creator's Showcase!

This event will features heaps of great queer content running along a row of booths.

So if you aren't able to make our regular showcase session, go check it out, details below:

Just a small one, trying to clear up some of the quicker issues.

* Gave the small material icons more detail.
* Fix for minimap opacity.
* Fix for missing tooltips.
* Some UI fixes.
* Another multiplayer fix.

1) Gameplay changes:

A. Rider Road revamped:

• The forced equipment equipping step has been removed.
  
• Popup designs have been changed and videos have been added.
  
• The Rider Road in-game UI has been made more intuitive.

B. Halloween event launched:

• By logging in and playing, players can earn Halloween costume rewards.

C. Two new face types added:

• Hunger and Thirst Balance: Now you can survive longer.
  
• NPC and Creature Damages: Adjusted unbalanced damage from units.
  
• Loot Distribution: All world loot has been reviewed for fairness.
  
• Starting Fairness: Problems with class selection and item spawning at the start have been fixed.
  
• Item Durability: Item durability has been recalibrated.
  
• Building Damage: Adjusted structure damage rates.
  
• Map Change Ticket: The ticket system has been removed.
  
• Store Visuals: Misleading store visuals have been revamped.
  
• Galactica PvP Map: Explore our new PvP map through the Map Selector!
  
• Shovel Activation: Now you can gather from all surfaces.
  
• Starting Point: The entire world map is set as the starting point.
  
• Quest System: Completely revamped.
  
• Path Tracing Shadow: Removed.
  
• Collectible Animals: Added small animals like rats and crabs.
  
• Lake Adjustments: Fishing and drinking water functionalities added.
  
• Starting Armor: Level 1 armors added to the character creation list.
  
• Controller Support: Fixed issues with the interact button.

Important Note: Following these critical changes, all player save files have been reset. For a clean and fair start, you will need to create your character again.

The current patch was released to fix some instabilities from the previous version, without major changes to the gameplay.

Video Developer Log #13 has just been uploaded to Youtube. This log focuses on the new passive blessing system known as the Scripture of Blessing. This system allows your apostle to speak directly to The Creator by requesting a powerful & permanent passive effect allowing for even further customization of your character. Let us know what you think, enjoy! ;)

• The Tome of Creation - written by The Creator, consists of 5 individual books compiled into a single manual. This tome is now considered illegal by the authorities of the new world system and will be destroyed on site, along with anyone carrying it.
  
• The Scripture of Blessing is a single page from the Tome of Creation that you, an apostle, carry with you to be studied in secret and seclusion. Studying the scripture will allow your character to speak directly to The Creator and ask for His blessing.
  
• A blessing is a permanent passive effect that contains great power and customization for your apostle. There are a total of 42 different blessings available though that number will undoubtedly grow.
  
• Each blessing is purchased with a certain number of blessing points that can be earned through quests and level ups.
  
• Some blessings have requirements in order to obtain, such as owning a previous blessing.
  
• The Scripture of Blessing can be accessed during level up or in a private place where The Creator can be summoned, such as a tavern room or private camp.
