Some tiny fixes and improvements!

-Minor Adjustments on monsters and day cycles
-Skitter will no longer jump to you in the office
-PVP mode removed, since some players first experience was being PVP Mode and it was not very very fun we decided to focus on other things and remove it from the game.

We will be active and fixing + doing some improvements, the simplest the improvements we can do the better (ex: playing around with monsters difficulty / day night cycle and timings, any feedback here would be appreciated)

New Side Mission: Vehicle Theft
A new side mission system is being added to the game, allowing you to steal vehicles from garages located in different areas of the map. In these missions, you'll need to sneak into target garages, steal the car, and deliver it to a designated location.











Dismantle or Drive
You can earn mission money and car parts from the vehicles you dismantle, and sell those parts in your own shop. Alternatively, you can choose to keep and drive the cars illegally for a certain fee.

[Fixes and Content]
  • Vehicles had to be started manually every time the game was reloaded; now fixed to start automatically.
  • Sliding door sounds of some vehicles have been fixed.
  • Junkyard location added.
  • Vehicle theft mechanic added.
  • 8 new stealable vehicles added.
  • Vehicle parts that can be sold in the shop have been added.
  • Vehicle handling has been improved.
  • New Lockpick skills added.

The Chronicles: Wasteland Assault - Mr. Ox
Hey again everyone.
Here is a quick patch update addressing a few things, along with the launch of supporter pack 2. As a bonus, if you've bought supporter pack 1 (thank you by the way) you'll also get a new skin for the recently released gun, the BMG!

Red Hill Peninsula:
  • Fixed a collision issue in zone 1, halting gameplay and progression.

Asylum (Nightmare mode):
  • Fixed a issue where the generator turned off after 3 seconds, rather than 5 minutes.

General fixes:
Added a seventh Bloody mess skin for the BMG on Supporter pack 1

We pushed a small update that optimized and fixed the following issues:

  • -Fixed the issue that the main quest [Defeat Apostle 12] had a probability of not being completed;
  • -Fixed the issue that the Conveyor Belt had a probability of stopping abnormally;
  • -Fixed the issue that the recipes of the 7th floor had a probability of being unlocked on the 6th floor;
  • -Fixed the issue that the memory consumption in the late game was too high;

修复:
修复了成功击败AI势力占据地点的人员后无法占据的问题;
修复了在藏经阁删除功法后部分界面仍然存在该功法的问题(修士修习至小成的功法仍可从修士修行记录中进行使用);
修复了藏经阁、门众列表等界面中,点击收藏后,界面会自动回到顶部的问题;
修复了AI势力弟子会获得并使用错误的战技和buff的问题;
修复了天地规则中关于增加修为词条描述不正确的问题;
修复了【外事-州郡】界面中点击一键驻守后州郡中只会安排一名弟子进行驻守的问题;
修复了护山战后,退出战斗场景时护山雷阵的音效依然持续播放的问题;

优化:
AI优化:现在AI势力会在双方好感较低时会主动进攻玩家占据的特殊地点,会有特殊对话,并且会影响双方好感度;(AI势力发起战争等玩法将尽快在后续版本中完善);
新增了攻打Ai势力占据的特殊地点和我方占据的特殊地点遭受AI势力攻击后触发的事务提醒;
优化了点击任务或奇遇进行追踪后的镜头移动逻辑:
——点击任务或奇遇进行定位时,关闭界面后镜头会停留在任务或奇遇定位的位置;
——点击任务或奇遇进行定位时,若之前已选择队伍则会在关闭界面后仍选中该队伍,此前版本中会默认切换至距离定位地点最近的队伍;
优化了个人特质的筛选方式,更换为页签筛选;
优化了个人特质的筛选功能:现在对修士特质进行筛选后,切换修士和再次打开修士界面时会保留上次进行的筛选项;
新增了跳过动画的功能,需要在设置中开启,开启设置后,将不再显示发现地点和占据州郡等部分非必要动画;
优化了部分事务的触发频率:缺少任职和需要安排炼制等事务现在不会频繁触发;


另外,针对近期各位道友遇到的一些闪退,崩溃,游戏进不去等问题。有以下可能的解决方案,请大家可以先自查一下,如果仍然无法解决可以进 bug 反馈群 1048937185 与我们交流。

⚡云存档无法同步,游戏进不去解决方案
这个可能是Steam的云存档服务器波动引起的,可以尝试开启/关闭加速器。或可能进入游戏了。


⚡闪退解决方案
方法一:确保游戏安装盘和虚拟内存盘在同一个盘符下。比如游戏是安装在C盘的,并且虚拟内存盘也是C盘。
方法二:官方网站更新显卡驱动到最新,然后检查虚拟内存设置
如下图操作,右键点击“此电脑” → 选择“属性”,点击左侧“高级系统设置”
在“系统属性”窗口中,点击“高级”标签页,点击“性能”区域的【设置】按钮
在“性能选项”窗口中,点击“高级”标签页,找到“虚拟内存”区域,点击【更改】
取消“自动管理所有驱动器的分页文件大小”的勾选,确保没有设置为“无分页文件”,选择你想设置的驱动器(选择一个大一点的磁盘),点击“设置”,然后“确定”,重启电脑以使设置生效。




⚡掉帧解决方案
方法一:升级显卡驱动到最新版本
方法二:如果有双显卡,需要确保切换到独立显卡


⚡崩溃解决方案
如果是游戏一启动就崩溃,或者是启动后几分钟就崩溃的问题,有以下可能的解决方案。
右键点击客户端内的游戏,点击【属性】
如下图显示位置,找到【已安装文件】,点击【验证游戏文件的完整性】



⚡游戏无法启动
在Steam客户端中,点击左上角的【Steam】,在下拉菜单中选中【设置】
如下图显示位置找到【下载】标签,关闭【启用着色器预缓存】

This week’s challenge drops your party into an icy gauntlet—where every burn chills, every chill slows, and every mistake earns you double the bruises.

Welcome to Frozen to the Bone, a test of endurance, crowd control, and whether you can still think clearly while frozen solid.


🧊 What You’re Dealing With:

🔥 Frostfire – Burn now deals Cold damage andreduces Fire and Cold resistance by 0.3% per stack. That’s right—your fire chills.

❄️ Intense Cold – Chill slows you more aggressively: 1 speed loss per 4 stacks instead of 5. Chill control is a must.

💰 Prosperity – Gold and shard gain is boosted by 50%. Don’t forget to invest in your team wisely.

🐌 Slow Monsters – Enemies lose speed, too. Great for turn control and setup.

💉 Double Injuries – Taking damage past your limits? Expect two injuries for the price of one. Survivability matters.

👑 More Champions – Elite enemies appear more frequently. Build with flexibility and bring dispels—you’ll need them.

This is the kind of challenge where forgetting a cleanse costs you two injuries, your tank shatters like ice glass, and your best burn card ends up… well, cold.





🧾 Party Report – Expedition Briefing:

💀 Malukah – Support with strong Chill and Hex synergy. Keep her alive, she keeps you steady.
🦂 Zek– DoT and curse specialist. Slows and rot pair perfectly in drawn-out fights.
🐻 Grukli –Frontline bruiser. Protect him early, watch him punish slow enemies late.
💎 Evelyn – Cold-focused control mage. Scales well and locks down fights when it counts.

They didn’t dress for the weather—but they did bring a plague rat, a crystal cannon, and a whole lot of attitude.



Tip: Use the global slowing to your advantage. Plan around initiative, not just power. Cards like Chilling Touch and Cleanse effects go a long way here.

Watch out for champions with AoE debuffs—double injuries can destroy your run if ignored.

Hello everyone!
We’ve been hard at work refining the demo as we prepare for the upcoming acts of Cosmic Horror Tales. Patch 2.0 brings a range of improvements aimed at enhancing both gameplay and immersion. Here’s what’s new:

1. New Tutorial Area
Dive deeper into Henry’s life and uncover the reasons behind his current mission. The revamped tutorial offers a more narrative-driven introduction to the story.

2. Expanded Mechanics
Players can now run, jump across gaps, climb, and interact with objects more fluidly, allowing for richer and more dynamic exploration.

3. Redesigned Menu System
The new in-game menu offers improved organization for items, clues, characters, light sources, and character upgrades, helping players stay informed as the story unfolds.

4. Enhanced Atmosphere & Audio
We’ve added ambient and navigational sounds to the user interface, along with new audio cues to further immerse players in key story moments.

5. Stargazer Updates
Our mysterious Stargazer has received a minor visual refresh and some small gameplay tweaks.

6. Improved Navigation & Hidden Paths
We’ve added new hidden passages and made adjustments to level layout, making exploration more rewarding and the overall journey more intuitive.

7. Bug Fixes & Performance
Resolved several issues related to the pause menu and implemented performance optimizations to ensure a smoother experience.
