New Weapons:

• Desert Eagle
  
  
  
  Our latest pistol the Desert Eagle, provides higher damage per shot, with a trade-off of higher recoil and a smaller magazine. The pistol will be available for selection upon death in the weapons selection menu or picked up in the Wasteland during survival mode
  
  
• Katana
  
  Due to popular demand, we added the much wanted Katana blade. The Katana is located behind your back. Reach over either shoulder to bring it out! You may slash and stab the enemy or dual wield it while holding the combat knife as well. Use two handed grip for added stability!
  
  
• Pump Action Shotgun
  
  
  The Shotgun adds a new dynamic to AMF VR and is very useful for room clearing and spread shots. You may select it in the starting room or weapons menu when you die. Pump each time you shoot by using your off hand on the front grip and holding down the trigger while pulling back. Reloading is done by loading the shells in one at a time, with a maximum of 8 shots. Lock n load!

NEW MAP: Wasteland

Wasteland is a larger sized Post-Apocalyptic map with many buildings and uneven terrain for you to mix up your combat style in. The map can be played in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch as well as our newest campaign mode: Survival. Come check it out today!

NEW CAMPAIGN: SURVIVAL

Survival is our newest Campaign mode for AMF VR and may have up to a team of 4 playing at the same time. The rules are simple:
• You have one life
  
• Survive for 10 minutes and scour for weapons on the battlefield
  
• Make it to the rescue helicopter. The chopper will appear once the 10 minutes is up. Be aware that it will appear at a random location each time.
  
  Survival Mode Guide
  Welcome to the Wasteland
  
  
  The Survival Campaign may be selected from the host menu in the lobby
  
  
  Once you enter the Wasteland, remember to press START once you are ready or when all your teammates have arrived. You may check the mission guidelines by pressing your watch on your left hand:
  
  
  Starting out, you will have a Pistol, Katana and Combat Knife. Scour the landscape to find additional weapons. Be sure to conserve your ammo as it is limited and specific to each weapon acquired
  
  
  Killing enemies also allows you to pick up their weapon:
  
  
  You may revive your teammates if they are down by standing in the white circle for 5 seconds. If all members of your team die, the game is over
  
  
  Survive for 10 minutes and wait for the helicopter to arrive. Make your approach carefully for a successful extraction. Only one member needs to reach the helicopter to complete the mission.
  
  
  Congratulations, you have completed the Survival Campaign!

• Fixed the double kill count error in Campaign Mode
  
• Fixed server auto-connect issue when changing game server (some players could not press host)
  
• Leaderboard now shows top scores from 1-100

Function Fix:

• If internet connection is interrupted the game will be re-directed to Start Screen with the error message stating "Failed To Connect." When the connection is re-established the error message will be replaced with "Connected". This is to prevent user from erroneously thinking game is hung when pressing HOST button with no reaction.

1. SteamVR had an internal update which caused Menu and Grip buttons to be not functional. This problem is addressed with this latest hotfix so please make sure that you download the latest version of AMF before playing.

2. Modified Bots behavior to be more life-like, including newly incorporated melee knife attack.


3. Improved server stability/crashing issue. Mainly addressing when some people load up a map and hear music only.

Merry Christmas!! The AMF Team has been hard at work these few weeks to bring you an all NEW GAME MODE and major feature updates

OPERATION: FRONTAL ASSAULT
Welcome to our first Co-op Campaign Mission it is suggested to have at least 2 players to complete it, with a maximum of 4. Select the "Enclave" Map to start the challenge. Operation: Frontal Assault features a massive map needing to complete 3 objectives. Your team has 30 lives to complete the Campaign, here is your mission guide:


START
You will start on a boat, please invite team members here or wait for players to join before pressing START. You may also go solo and invite players to join mid game. You may go Solo, but it will be extremely challenging.


OBJECTIVE A: Find the Code, Open the Gate

The code is in any 1 of the 4 container houses located on the edges of the map. Check your mission guide using the panel on your left hand for the locations.

Search the table for the code, it could be hidden under an item:

Make it to the gate and enter the code to get to the next stage, don't forget to pickup the shield before moving on!


OBJECTIVE A Hint: Clear out all the towers using the sniper rifle before proceeding to search for the code


OBJECTIVE B: Capture 3 checkpoints
Fight your way down the highway and capture 3 checkpoints along the way. Be careful and always watch your back!

When Standing in the circle you will capture each check point. There are a total of 3.

OBJECTIVE B Hint: At Checkpoint 1, you have an opportunity to reload your grenades and knifes once the point is captured.


OBJECTIVE C: Escort the Tank to the Airstrip and Escape! BEWARE: BOSS BOTS!

This massive base is split into two sections. Fight your way through the enemy's main military complex and reach the tank located in the industrial section of the map. You may look at your left hand for an arrow pointing towards where the tank is parked. (The tank is parked under the sky bridge).

Stand within the Yellow Circle and escort the tank to the airstrip. As long as you are in the Yellow Circle the tank will move towards its destination automatically.

Upon reaching the last part of the Escort mission, your rescue helicopter will fly towards the airstrip. Make sure the tank destroys the last gate in order to make it to safety!

OBJECTIVE C Hint: When trying to reach the tank, run round the edge of the map, use cover to avoid enemy detection. Either breach the main entrance on the left of go over the sky bridge on the right.

Challenge the leaderboard for the best completion time.

OTHER BIG UPDATES:
Framework

• Added function to add friends on Steam directly from the Scoreboard. When playing, open the scoreboard and there will be a man icon next to their name. If it is White: They are your friend, Green with + symbol, you may click on it to invite them to be your steam friend!
  
  If someone sends you a friend invite you will see a man icon pop up in your menu system, click on it and accept the invite to be friends :)
  
  
• Brand new friends menu in the lobby and in game. See which of your friends are in game, and on which server
  
  
• Added function to invite friends to join your game, open your menu system in game and press the "3 heads" button to open the friends menu.
  
  From here you can invite a friend to join a game.
  
  If you friend is in the lobby, he will see a door next to your name and room number on the friends list. Click the door and enter the game.
  
  
• Added function to lock you game for single player which includes invite friends only when locked. This can be done in the lobby or in game.
  
  
  
• Brand new weapons selection menu using gaze and trigger
