Hello everyone,

we are pleased to announce that the official release of Zombie Watch is only a short week away, we are officially releasing our game on the 17th of September here on Steam and also on Xbox. This has been a fun experience and we hope you will enjoy surviving the harsh post-apocalyptic world of Zombie Watch.

What is new:
- 2 new maps, so now you can explore the mainland, forest, town, swamp, mountain, and island.
- New zombies,
- Bandit NPC,
- Events,
- Some new items and weapons,
- General improvements and bug fixes.

New wardrobe! You can now change your character's outfits since we just added a bunch of new clothing items each with its own special stats. Different shirts, pants, backpacks, masks, and glasses can now be found while searching the closets in many houses, while others can be bought from a vendor. But all of them can be sold. One reason more to go scavenging through old abandoned homes.

We have some exciting news and we honestly hope you guys will share our enthusiasm. We took our time to look into the feedback from our players and we came to the conclusion that we needed to create a whole new experience of Zombie Watch and bring it closer to our mobile version. We are not talking just about the design or maps, we actually went back to the basics and changed the way of doing a lot of things in Zombie Watch. It was something we were thinking about for a while because the game did not meet our vision once had. Somewhere along the line of creating our game, we lost our silver lining and we could not let that continue. It may seem like we were taking a long pause because a lot of time has passed since our last update, but the reality is we were once more developing Zombie Watch from the beginning. This time we are extremely content with the way things are going. 



So what has changed? Well, it is easier to list the things that weren't changed - Zombie Watch is still a top-down, third-person, survival open-world game. You still gather, scavenge, defend, fight zombies, build and craft all while having basic human needs like water, food, health. Then things get more exciting - we created a whole new world of Zombie Watch. Now there are multiple smaller maps with different biomes, where you can build your base on the main map but also explore other biomes, like forests, a swamp, and a mountain area. We will not stop there, a few other maps are already in development, like a huge town for example. On all of these maps, there are numerous special places with hidden treasure boxes and smaller towns with loot and special flora. You get your own survivors base of which you are in charge but let's not get ahead of ourselves - a lot of new features are still in development as this continues to be an early access game. We are working hard to keep the progress going since we will also be releasing Zombie Watch in its new image on XBOX in a year or two.

Hello,

We improved the Zombie Watch main map with adding hills, mountains, and new paths around them which makes it more diverse and interesting to explore. We added a few special places, such as a gas station, 2 stores, a villa, industrial buildings, and more in a new location on the map up the main road. You can find a bunch of loot and items in this new small town as well. This update also includes a few bug fixes.

I am sorry to say our development process has been delayed a bit because of these hard times at the moment. First of all, we hope every one of you is safe and healthy and will stay that way. Well wishes to you and your family!

Our roadmap for Zombie Watch in the short future includes quests, more locations and special places, a new vehicle, a finished multiplayer, and the release of Zombie Watch 1.0. The Xbox version is also in development!

Hello,

this update brings a lot of new things. We added a bunch of new locations, which are all marked on the map for you to find easily. They all contain old and new loot items, but the most exciting of all is the new radiation zones where you will be damaged by radiation fumes. These areas contain searchable radiation barrels with loot and 2 new enemies for you to eliminate. All bandits now drop loot.

- Buildable buildings remove grass in the build area
