Dear players,

Last August we announced on our official Discord channels that Gamesparks (our Backend services) took the unilateral decision to close their services, including the shutdown of all FrozenShard games, and consequently, we can not continue with the operations of the company

FrozenShard started using the BaaS services of Gamesparks in 2016, during these years we have been operating with this service very satisfactorily, but a few years after the acquisition of Gamesparks by Amazon (https://tcrn.ch/3ApMwoD), Gamesparks took the decision to close their services as we know them, leaving us out of business.

Our team was notified by Gamesparks and since then we have tried to find alternatives to this problem, purely because due to the nature of our digital products, our games cannot operate without a backend. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find viable alternatives for our products given the high complexity that migration would entail and the incompatibility of many of the features that our games use today.

Starting on September 1st, it will not be possible to make in-app purchases in any of our games, and on September 30th they will be withdrawn from the market Stores in their entirety (Apple Store, Play Store, Steam).

Though we are sad to say goodbye, we want to convey that it has been a real honor to offer so many hours of entertainment to all the players who at one time or another have enjoyed our video games, something we have always done out of passion and we hope to cross paths again in the future.

Format: Best of 3 matches.
Starting Time: April, 1st

1st Place: A Legendary card (player’s choice from any edition) and a Marshal Defiance Chest.
2nd Place: An Epic card (player’s choice from any edition) and a Marshal Defiance Chest.
3rd Place: A Rare card (player’s choice from any edition) and a General Defiance Chest.

Also three Defiance chests will be raffled among the participants of the tournament.

Rarity: Only Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary Cards can be used.
Maximum of 3 Legendary cards (units or items, Legendary orders can not be used!)
Faction: No restrictions.

With these restrictions, practically everybody has a chance on winning here!

- Players will have 24h from the beginning of each round to set a date and time with their opponent to play the match, in case one of the players are unresponsive, the active player will have to notify that to the Tournament admin and he will be directly promoted to the next round.
- To find your opponent check the #bracket or find your name in #score-matches.
- Please bear in mind that your opponent might not be online at the same time than you are, send a message to set a match time, be patient and wait for both to be online.
- To set a date and time with your opponent we recommend DM (direct message).
- Once the tournament start and at the end of each match, the players will have to post their scores in the #score-matches channel.

Tournament Rules:

• This tournament has limited to one the amount of Diamond cards in the deck.
  
• Before starting the tournament, we will randomly select a faction per each round and players must choose only cards from that faction to create their decks during that round. The dice roll will be done in the chat so everyone can see the result.
