Sorcerer's Spire is a mystical new map set in a spectacular observatory. It's what happens when you mix the fantastical world of Dream Valley Castle with the chaos of Twisted House! 💫

Explore the observatory - a once serene place now unleashed with magical chaos! Hunt and hide amongst the sorcerer's tools and tomes, or take flight on one of the flying books circling the central orrery! 📖

Drop down the centre of the spire to find a huge spiral staircase, and if you're brave enough - enter the portal at the bottom to see where it takes you! 🌀

As you head down the spiral staircase, you'll encounter different floors featuring familiar themes and areas from the Witch It universe. What secrets do these locations hold? 🔎

Blend in with the Sorcerer's Spire by transforming into 80+ new props placed throughout the map! Collect a variety of different vials, jars, stargazing tools, ingredients, furnishings and much, much more. We've even thrown in a ton of secret props to add to your prop collection! 🧪

Prop Sumo is a side project we've been working on since the start of the year, and is made for peer-to-peer battles between friends. Prop Sumo arrives later this year with the "Friend Pass", which allows all members in your party to play for free (without progression) as long as the host owns the full game! ✔️

Prop Sumo is a physics-driven fighting game that pits ordinary props together in extraordinary battles. Your goal in Prop Sumo is to be the last prop standing - brawl your opponents with a mixture of different melee moves, combo attacks, and ultimate abilities! 💣

In Prop Sumo, you can shape your playstyle with wild prop modifiers that transform your ultimate ability in powerful ways! For example: pair the beehive prop with the cannonball ultimate to create a huge explosion that covers your opponents screen in a swarm of bees! Or pair the mandrake with the wrecking ball ultimate to snare your opponents to the ground and crush them! 💥

There are over 100+ ultimate-modifier combinations that you can experiment with to find the most powerful build! ☄️

Battle on a range of stunning, dynamic maps built for mayhem! Surging rivers, tangled vines and molten lava will need to be avoided - or used to your advantage! 🔥

Each round, you'll earn experience and unlock coupons that can be traded in for new props, ultimate abilities or customisation for your prop. Decorate your prop with a huge selection of cosmetics that you can fine-tune to match your style! 🧢

Back in November, we launched Castle Catastrophe, Witch It's 4th map contest! Following the release of 200+ new creative mode structures and material overrides, participants now had more creative options than ever while building their contest entries. 🏰

"Castle Catastrophe" was the contest theme - participants were tasked with creating a castle-themed map that has been struck by a disaster. Map creators had the freedom to interpret this theme however they like, while remaining true to it's core intent. As a result, we had received arguably our most unique, diverse, and incredible selection of entries we've ever had the privilege of judging! 🤯

Each winning map is now implemented into Witch It and playable on the official Servers.










🌐We also added a New Utility Prop in Creative Mode called World Properties which allows you the configuration of light, fog and even the Music (only available on empty template maps)



And ofcourse a small little tease with 3 new Creative Mode structures honoring the map contest winners & the additional awards winners.



✉️There is also a new Feedback Button in the main menu that sends you to a Feedback form direct in the game.(useful for console players)

Participants have just 6 hours to build a playable map based on a theme revealed at the start of the contest. At the end of the 6 hours, all submissions to the contest will be voted on by the community!

Each winner will shortly receive the Grand Architect's Helmet, a Witch It Steam Key, two DLC sets of their choice, their name added to the description of a Creative Mode structure (revealed soon), and the outstanding "Grand Architect" title within our community! 🌟

We decided these winners based on a range of different factors. For us, it was important each winning map was visually pleasing and unique from other entries, but a primary factor for us was ensuring each map was suitable to be played on for potentially thousands upon thousands of rounds! Map size was a paramount factor in judging, and while many entrants made beautiful maps, only a select few creators really got the balance between aesthetics and gameplay just right. In addition, we had introduced a rule that meant an individual person could not take multiple winning spots in Castle Catastrophe - which we felt gave new creators an opportunity to shine through... and that they did! 🏆

Spellbound Town is Pinoue Banana's first ever map contest entry, as well as their first ever published map on the Witch It workshop - but don't let that fool you! The map is undeniably impressive, featuring a beautiful town transformed by the evil tree at it's centre. Explore and hide within a mix of decorated interiors and vast open areas, but beware of the mysterious corruption slowly reclaiming the town brick by brick... 😈

Obscura secures her first ever map contest win with Ingeborg's Wandering Retreat - a familiar, yet outstanding map packed full of intricate detail! The map features a huge living castle that has been frozen in place by an enraged witch. Use this opportunity to climb inside the castle, and explore it's vast hallways and elaborate rooms before the hunters catch you - or hide within the surrounding icy landscape! 🥶

Otsiro Crest Castle is fri's second winning map following Niemeyer Legacy's memorable win back almost 5 years ago. A mystical witch anomaly has found it's way through the walls of Otsiro, causing devastating roots to tear through it's grand towers and dramatic environment in and around the castle. This map is the largest of the winners, but some well-placed chickens paired with a mobility skill will cover ground a lot quicker than you think! 🐔

Woodcastle Cat-astrophe is Anghely's debut map to the Witch It workshop, and a light-hearted yet skilfully executed take on the contest theme! Explore a giant cat tower home to the witches' beasts and pets, and carefully climb it to locate the best hiding positions. Hide among the unfortunate troll-cats that have been turned into stone by the sun, and beware the hunters who have laid siege on this spectacular castle! Shout-out to CyaniStella, Freya and Haderman! 🐈





With the recent introduction of hundreds of new structures and material overrides, it came as no surprise to us that the quality of submissions would grow even further than previous contests. The effort and attention to detail put into every submission has been absolutely outstanding, and we are so grateful for each and every one of our map creators! 💎

新年好! Witch It is celebrating Year of the Snake with new CNY skins, fireworks, an exclusive icon, as well as 3 special items - read on! 🧧

Adorn yourself in two ssslithering new items - the Lucky Snake Head for hunters, and the Wood Snake Headpiece for witches! 🐍


Opening Witch It during the Chinese New Year 2025 event will grant you 30 "Fireworks"!
A Firework contains a random Chinese New Year item (including CNY items from previous years), which can only be opened by combining them with "Gunpowder". 💥

To earn Gunpowder, fill up the Item Cauldron with 250 experience points. You can see the item cauldron fill up at the end of the round, on the level up screen.

Gunpowder has a 50% chance of being earned on any Official server once the item cauldron is filled. If you're lucky enough to earn one, head back to the main menu and press 'Chinese New Year' to combine it with a Firework! 🎆

Every Chinese New Year item earned through Fireworks are tradable and craftable even after the event is over. If you use up all your FIreworks, you can craft more by combining 5 Gunpowder together!
Note: Gunpowder can only be obtained in Official servers.

You can also receive the new items through:
- Random drops from filling up the item cauldron at the end of a round.
- Trading with other players (we recommend using our Discord server to find traders).
