CCR

The Current Combat Rifle, abbreviated as CCR, was developed by a United States Army program with a $300 million US Dollars development program to find a replacement for the R16 assault rifle.


Mooshügel 500 Custom


This improved version of the Mooshügel 500 comes with installed Full Quad Rail System, Angled Fore Grip and Forend. More precision and reduced fatigue are provided by better ergonomics.


AC7 SMG

Under development from the late 1990s to early 2000s by the United States Army, the AC7 SMG rifle is a lightweight assault weapon, especially lightweight and resilient in rugged conditions.


RK14 EBR

The RK14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR) is a variant of the R14 battle rifle, and was originally built for units in the Navy. It is an American selective-fire, military designated marksman rifle chambered for the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge.

We want to inform you that we regretfully had to disqualify two of the top entries with the best overall times: A Turkish team headed by yoshimura achieved an impressive 22m34s, while the X-Force team managed an equally impressive 22m35s. Even though these marked the best achieved times, both send in videos did not follow the rules of the contest. On that ground, after a long debate the judges decided to disqualify both entries. The holidays are here, and we're celebrating the season of goodwill with a wealth of Christmas content in Warface! First up, the return of the holiday-themed Hangar Versus map invites you to slay your enemies among giant gift-wrapped containers, fairy lights and falling snow. Just remember, even though this winter wonderland has all the trimmings, there could be a nasty surprise around every corner.



One such surprise may come in the form of the brand new "Christmas Gift Box" item. This directional mine looks like a lovingly wrapped present at first glance, but get too close and you'll soon discover it's anything but. Also new is the "Christmas Firecracker" – a powerful pistol which resembles a Christmas cracker but goes off with a significantly bigger bang! Both items could be yours in Random Boxes earned for completing Co-op missions or purchased with Warface Dollars.



Adding to the Yuletide spirit is the reintroduction of a vast array of weapons and items designed to bring some Christmas cheer to the front line. Over the next few weeks you should expect to see your fellow soldiers wearing bobble hats and reindeer hoods, whilst carrying weapons that look more like they were crafted in Santa's workshop than a munitions factory! All these items will be getting crammed into Random Boxes near you from today, but there's also another way to get your hands on them – namely the Warface Christmas Calendar.

Running from today until December 25th, our Christmas Calendar will see you receive gifts directly in your inventory each day you log in*. Those gifts could come in the form of weapons, helmets, vests, gloves or boots. It's the perfect way to try out new gear in battle, and also to get in the holiday mood! Here are your gifts for today, more will be revealed in the coming days.



Last but not least, it's a good time of year to know your Random Boxes. Until January 7th, completing Co-op missions (Normal, Skilled & Hardcore) will earn you Christmas Random Boxes, with the content included varying depending on the difficulty of the mission you complete. On top of that, there will also be Christmas Random Boxes available exclusively for Warface Dollars in the shop. These purchased boxes may yield one of five permanent items – ranging from the Christmas Ammo Pack to the colorful Candy Knife. Whatever you receive, we can promise the surprises in store will be pleasant.

Soldiers, you have been brave and submitted a lot of videos showing how you managed to tackle the Spearhead mission while fighting for your life.

During the competition a glitch was discovered and while it was not known to us before, it still requires us to reopen the competition and ask all teams to resubmit their video, while not using this glitch.

The glitch in question allows you to place multiple C4 charges on the same spot of the Tank End Boss, making it too easier to kill.

What does it means for you?

Either you completed the mission and recorded the video without using this glitch, then you can send us your video again or you can record a new one and try to beat your first time. If you used the glitch by accident for your first entry, this is your chance to re-enter the competition. All videos need to follow the exact same rules as in the initial announcement.

Please note: Previous entries won’t count. Please (re-)submit your videos. Balancing changes to Cold Peak coming with the game update tomorrow may impact the best time achievable. See Patch Notes for details.

Please understand that we are giving all the teams a new chance. We think this is the fairest solution for everyone. Please make sure not to use the particular glitch. Otherwise it’ll lead to the disqualification of the whole team.

The competition will now end on Sunday December 21st, 2014 11:59PM CET.

Ambush, act two of Operation Cold Peak will be released tomorrow. Are you prepared to break free from Blackwood's trap?

You made your first dent in Blackwood's defenses in Spearhead, but now it's time to delve deeper into their Siberian stronghold with the new Ambush mission.



As the name suggests, the enemy are waiting to spring a surprise as you continue your assault on their winter wonderland. Multiple strategic possibilities change the flow of battle every time, but one thing will remain constant – Team Warface is cornered, massively outnumbered, and a long way from home. In the midst of these snow-bound mountains, however, it is perhaps Mother Nature that will deliver the ultimate surprise.

We will increase the number of Survival coins from 2 to 3 per day. We additionally will add three additional Survival coins to each player account so that you can enjoy the new Co-op setting.*



Celebrate the holidays with Warface

Rules

• You must record the full run of the mission completed and post it publicly on YouTube, with a minimal quality of 720p.
  
• Video title needs to start with “Warface - Operation Cold Peak: Spearhead“
  
• The gameplay in the video has to be not edited at all to enter the contest. Clan/Let’s Play intros and outros are allowed.
  
• The team member recording the video will have to show the players list at the beginning of the recording and at the end of the recording by hitting the “tab” key
  
• When posting the video, you must specify on which realm you did the mission and give an approximate date and time.
  
• After the end date of the competition, we will choose 3 winner teams, based on the best time done to complete the mission. If two teams have the same exact time, then the score will be checked, and if the score if the same, the amount of resurrection coins used will be counted.
  
• Teamsize: You must enter with a team composed by 5 players. You can choose any class you want.
  
• Method of participation: when the recording of the full run is over, submit your entry to http://spotlight@crytek.com, with the subject “Operation Cold Peak: Spearhead – “Time is ticking” competition”. Please list:
