LIO & NUO: NEW ROBOT BUILDS

Nuo and Lio are support robots crafted by SpaceTech which constantly take to the skies to redefine teamwork on the battlefield. Nuo excels in offensive synergy, creating a powerful attacking bond with an ally. Meanwhile, Lio specializes in defensive synergy, establishing a protective bond that boosts mutual durability. While they may not pack massive firepower, these robots shine with the new Nanea and Leinani cannons, which can switch damage types. And with Walter Trommel at the helm, Nuo and Lio gain extra protection. Watch out!

LIO
Walking towards the light

Fortress Link: The robot takes off, gaining several charges of CounterSuppression. If a nearby ally is within your crosshairs, Lio establishes a link with them and also applies several charges of CounterSuppression to them. Each time Lio or the linked ally takes damage, Lio accumulates armor bonuses, which are also transferred to the ally. When the link is broken, the ally loses the armor bonuses, but Lio retains its armor points.

WALTER TROMMEL
Drop the beat, encore

Groove: Upon entering the flying phase, activates Grey Durability defence and repairs the robot and its linked ally every second.

AOPO
All Day, All Night

Twin Gun: The Twin Gun is a miniature copy of the Nanea rifle which was developed especially for Aopo. The switching projectile mechanism makes Twin Gun the universal weapon against all enemies by providing both energy and kinetic damage from one gun.
Cleanse: When your robot receives Defence points or a Damage buff, Aopo also provides it with a Cleanse effect stack.
In air — Armor Plates: Aopo provides extra Durability points while your robot is flying.
On Landing — Aegis: Upon landing, Aopo provides your robot with an Aegis shield that is active while your robot is on the ground.

SCORPION: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger — Ultimate Scorpion bursts onto the battlefield to bring even more chaos. Just like its predecessor, it's ready to backstab its enemies, but this time with a reduced ability recovery time. However, if the pilot is A5H Sk4R5, you'll have a chance to recover it instantly, if an enemy falls while the ability is recharging. Equipped with three medium weapon slots, the Ultimate Scorpion is the perfect match for Ultimate Havocs. Arm yourself with these devastating shotguns and blast your enemies to smithereens.

ULTIMATE SCORPION
Ouch, it stings!

Backstab: The robot sets up a translocator and teleports behind the enemy, gaining acceleration, activating its defence system and built-in weapon, and inflicting direct damage and DoT. A secondary activation of the ability teleports the robot back to the translocator.

DoT: Inflicts damage over time to the enemy’s hull.

OTHER ADDITIONS

G.A.S.
Protection First

The G.A.S., also known as the Generative Aegis System, is a groundbreaking piece of defensive equipment designed for the medium slots on your robots. Engineered by SpaceTech, this state-of-the-art attachment replaces the traditional medium weapon with a regenerative energy shield that ensures unparalleled protection on the battlefield, including defending your robots from AoE damage.

DEFENDER SYSTEM
Not on my watch!

Provides a certain amount of Defence Points to a friendly target.

EVENT HUB

The Event Hub provides all the essential details about the ongoing event. You’ll find it in the upper-left corner of your main hangar view.

With the Hub, we're also introducing Event Points — your key to tracking progress and unlocking extra rewards. Earn them through Operations and certain other sources.

  • Visit the Daily Rewards tab for bonus gifts at the start of each event.
  • Check the Event Tasks tab to claim additional rewards after collecting Event Points.
  • Unlock the Event Pass in the Extra Rewards tab to gain more Data Pads and accelerate your progress.

PILOT SYSTEM REWORK

We're updating the Pilot system to make it more consistent with other elements of the game. Here are the key changes:

  • Pilots now have Tiers.
  • Ordinary Pilots are being converted into a collectible Tier 1 pilot. This won’t affect their levels or skills, but their portraits and bios will be replaced with a unified Tier 1 version. Legendary Pilots remain unchanged.
  • The Training Center is now accessible directly from the pilot slot on robots.
  • The updated UI features a card view and allows for dismissing multiple Pilots at once.
  • New Pilots are being introduced for some classic robots.

Each Legendary Pilot is assigned a tier based on the robot or weapon that benefits from their special skill. Since Ordinary Pilots lack special skills, they are all classified as Tier 1. However, to acknowledge their previous status, their converted version will have a unique appearance. This legacy Tier 1 portrait will only be available during the transition to the new system.

These new Pilots will become available in the Training Center later during 11.0:

  • Iji Rime | Endurance: Gareth, Galahad and Lancelot have stronger physical shields while their abilities are active.
  • Johan Cooper | Spot-on Expertise: Jesse, Doc and Butch have their weapon damage temporarily increased after activating their abilities.
  • Michael Dupont | Against All: Raijin and Rhino have bonus Defence Points while their abilities are active.
  • Vit Rage | Overdrive: Carnage recharges its ability faster.
  • Barbara Steinmann | Vulture's Eye: Fujin deals increased weapon damage while its ability is active.
  • Aisha Ortega | Under the Veil: Ao Qin gains Stealth temporarily after activating its ability.
  • Daniel Kavanagh | Solid Body: Weyland has an Aegis shield while its ability is active.
  • Rita Po | Soft Spot: Fury’s shots ignore energy shields.
  • Egorus Gafidos | True Sight: Leo gets a built-in Quantum Radar.
  • Sophie Kovač | Second Wind: Natasha gets a huge amount of temporary Defense Points when its Durability falls to a critical level.

WORKSHOP REWORK

The new Workshop allows free production of components and features a cleaner interface.

There are a maximum of three production slots. A production cycle lasts for 24 hours regardless of the component type. You can collect accumulated components at any time without waiting for production to end. After 24 hours, the slot stops generating components, and you can load it with a new production task. Using the Ad button gives you bonus components of the selected type without affecting ongoing production.

These items will become available in the Workshop later during 11.0:

  • Mars
  • Angler
  • Imugi
  • Hwanje
  • Yeoje
  • Daeja

NEW CLAN TASKS

A new type of Task will be introduced during this update. Unlike the previous Clan Tasks, the new weekly challenges track the progress of all clan members, requiring a collective effort to complete. Once the task is finished, the reward is granted to each member of the clan, with all members receiving equal rewards.

Note: You must be a member of a clan for at least 7 days before you can start receiving its Clan Tasks.

ADAMANT

BJORN: NEW TITAN BUILD

Bjorn is a beast of a Titan. EvoLife has crafted a machine that seamlessly blends power and elegance. Bjorn offers two dynamic modes: Sphere Stance maximizes protection, boosts acceleration, and deals continuous damage to nearby foes, while Bear Stance grants access to devastating weaponry and a protective Aegis Shield. With Huginn and Muninn perched on Bjorn’s shoulders, it will brawl through hordes of enemies, chaining damage between them. And with Sigrid Solmer on board, both of Bjorn’s stances will be further enhanced.

BJORN

Grin and bear it

SHAPESHIFT (Primary): The Titan switches between two modes. In Sphere Stance, it activates a protective core that reduces all incoming damage and continuously deals damage around itself. In Bear Stance, the Titan can fire from its equipped weapons and gains a temporary Aegis shield.

Ball Damage Reduction: 85% (600 Defence Points)

FEROCITY (Secondary):
Sphere Stance: The Titan gains a brief speed boost.
Bear Stance: The Titan activates a Defense system that cannot be mitigated but becomes immobile.

Sphere Speed boost: +60%
Bear Defence value: 75%
Cooldown: 10 sec

A lone enemy will receive more damage, absorbing the full force of the blow. The gun also accumulates the Lock-Down on the affected robots to keep them in the area for a longer time.

Iron Grip: While in ball form, the Titan's built-in weaponry applies the Lock-Down effect

BIFROST

Valhalla's Finest Flower

Gliding through the endless expanse of the cosmos, the Bifröst unfurls its radiant petals, the vessel bridging the divide between survival and oblivion. Whispers among the stars tell of its origin, crafted by the starlit artisans of EvoLife who sought to recreate the bridge of the gods. This celestial ship is both a lifeline and a symbol of unity in the vastness of space. When allies falter, the Bifröst's energy coalesces into protective barriers, like fragments of that mythical bridge, protecting the commanders and their robots from harm.

Radiant Veil: A veil of shining light infused with latest nanotech creates a protective casing around robot's armor plates, making them stronger and adding 10 stacks of Defence Points multiplied by the amount of Points in one stack. When the stacks reach their peak, the defence system activates for a couple of seconds and then dissolves, applying the CLEANSE effect at the end. None the robot's Defence Points can be mitigated while the mothership's ability is active.

LEECH: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

Want to return the damage to enemies? Leech is the perfect robot for the job!
The Ultimate Leech takes damage chaining to the next level—outperforming even the classic version. Pair it with the Ultimate Tulumbas for maximum impact! While the original Tulumbas were considered low-tier weapons, many of you still remember their devastating rocket volleys and AOE damage. We've retained those signature traits while upgrading the Tulumbas to T4 in their Ultimate form. These weapons come with a powerful new feature: the longer you fire and the lower your ammo gets, the more damage you deal!

ULTIMATE LEECH

Redirecting damage since 2019

Repulse: Leech activates a defence system and absorbs most of the damage. If there is an enemy in the robot’s sights, Leech can establish a connection with it and redirect part of the incoming damage to it. This defense cannot be mitigated.

Damage Reduction: 90% (900 Defence points)

OTHER ADDITIONS

ALL HANGAR ACCESS

From now on, you can use all your open Hangar Decks in every battle! The rules stay the same—you can't deploy more than 5 robots and 1 titan in a battle—but now you can place all your favorite robots and choose any of them. It's time to put some extra Snipers in your backup Hangar!

OPERATIONS REWORK

As we mentioned in our 2024 Year in Review, Operations will once again feature both free and premium reward tracks. Plus, each Operation will now have its own dedicated quest tab, making it easier to track your progress and see what you need to do to earn Operations experience.

Resource Operations R and B are being merged into a new Operation called "All You Need", which will include a variety of WR resources, from Modules to Upgrade Tokens.

Meanwhile, Operations E and D will be renamed "Event" and "Datapad", respectively.

For now, all Operations are temporarily disabled while we make technical improvements. Any Operations that were in progress have already been completed yesterday, and rewards have been distributed. Operations will be back next week—stay tuned!

ADVANCED AUDIO SETTINGS

Separate volume controls now can be found in Settings for Game Music, Sound Effects, Interface Sounds, and Master Volume.

HIT INDICATIONS SETTINGS

Damage feedback system now displays real-time information on damage dealt and the type of object hit (e.g., Durability or Shields). Shield types are color-coded: Yellow for Aegis, Purple for Absorber, Grey for Physical, and Red for Durability.

SAMJOK: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Samjok is a strategic robot, designed to outmaneuver opponents and quickly adapt to dynamic combat situations. Equipped with two Heavy and one Light weapon slot, it can deal substantial damage, but its true strength lies in its ability. Sunstorm allows Samjok to split into two parts: the top enters a Phase Shift state, becoming invulnerable and highly mobile but unable to attack, while the bottom part autonomously targets and fires at enemies. The ability is powered by energy, allowing players to shift in and out as needed, but requiring careful management. Once the Sunstorm ends, Samjok summons a new bottom part, ready to fight again.

SAMJOK
Can't touch this!

Sunstorm: When the ability is activated, the robot's cabin separates from the main body, enters PHASESHIFT mode, and accelerates. The mode is active until it is canceled, or until the robot is out of fuel. Meanwhile, an autonomous weapon is activated on the structure which remains behind, with shots that deal significant damage and apply the RUST and CRUMBLE effects to the enemy.

Rust – Each stack of this negative effect decreases robot Durability recovery by 0.66%

Crumble – Each stack of this negative effect decreases robot Gray Durability recovery by 0.66%. Autonomous Weapon Lifespan: 15 sec. Destruction Radius: 350 m

RAVAGER: NEW ROBOT BUILD

The Ravager is a high-damage robot that demands careful handling to offset its lack of defensive systems. Its ability grants permanent Stealth while active, allowing it to navigate the battlefield in relative safety. However, once the ability ends, the Ravager must rely on its substantial Durability to get through the combat. Exiting Stealth provides a temporary boost to its weapon damage, making burst weapons an ideal choice for maximizing its offensive potential. When facing a Ravager, keeping a defensive ability in reserve is always a smart strategy.

RAVAGER

High-FIVE!

Veil: The robot accelerates, enters STEALTH mode and removes negative effects like RUST, BLIND, SUPPRESSION and SLOWDOWN, while also gaining temporary immunity to them. Any action, except movement and turret rotation, breaks the invisibility, granting the robot a brief massive damage boost, and sends the ability into cooldown.

Keep it civil at all times.

Ability 1: A machine gun with a high rate of fire that rivals the latest models equipped on robots.

Ability 2: Increases the robot's Movement Speed. The effect is always active.

Ability 3: Upon exiting STEALTH, your robot gains the Lock-down ability for a few seconds.

Ability 4: If your robot is in STEALTH mode, the drone allows you to accumulate a damage increase effect every few seconds.

DEVOURER: NEW TITAN BUILD

The Devourer stands out as a rare example of a Stealth Titan. Its unique hexapod chassis enables it to navigate even the most challenging terrain with ease and speed. Like the Ravager, the Devourer can remain in Stealth indefinitely while its ability is active. Equipped with a powerful arsenal and bolstered by a damage boost from its secondary ability, it excels as a formidable Damage Dealer. Additionally, the Titan’s primary ability allows it to siphon power from enemy targets, further enhancing its combat potential.

DEVOURER

Turn enemy power into a snack!

ESSENCE SHIFT: The Titan becomes immune to Defense Mitigation and establishes a link with the selected enemy robot. While the link is active, the Titan steals Damage, Defense Points, and Movement Speed from the target, transferring them to itself.

SHADOW WALK: The Titan accelerates, enters STEALTH mode, and removes negative effects like RUST, BLIND, SUPPRESSION, and SLOWDOWN, while also gaining a temporary immunity to them. Any action besides movement and turret rotation breaks the Titan’s invisibility and sends the ability into cooldown.

SHREDDER BLITZ: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

Your lightning-fast attacks now come with an escape plan. The advanced edition of Blitz can teleport back to its original location after activating its BREAK-IN ability. This agile Saboteur-class fighter excels at eliminating priority targets while bypassing heavily armored foes.

ULTIMATE BLITZ

First In First Out

A support turret. After a short delay, the turret significantly boosts the owner's outgoing damage for a short period.

NEW GAME MODE: PUSH

A new type of battle will become available shortly after the launch of the Cruel Warm Winter event. During Push battles, two teams compete to take control over a payload that has to be taken to the final point. Taking control of the payload makes it move along a set track in the track's direction. The team to escort it to a final point or to progress the farthest towards it during the battle wins.

Here are the main things to know about Push mode:

  • To take control of the payload, your team should outnumber the opponents in its area.
  • When either team gets the payload to the final point, the battle ends.
  • The payload stops at checkpoints. In order to proceed, your team should outnumber the opponents in its area for a few seconds until the checkpoint is cleared.
  • The speed of the payload depends on the number of allies.

UPDATED DAILY TASK TIMERS

In version 10.6, we will update the system that manages the timers for Daily Tasks. Currently, different groups of Daily Tasks refresh at varying times based on several factors. Once the changes are implemented, all Daily Tasks will reset simultaneously at 00:00 UTC.

TECHNICAL FIXES

  • Fixed a bug where a deployed repair station would continue to passively restore Sirius' durability.
  • Fixed a bug where both of Sirius' turrets, when deployed, would return to the Titan faster than intended.
  • Fixed a bug where suggested skills for a Titan pilot would include skills for previously equipped weapons instead of those currently used.
  • Fixed a bug where Harpy with the Twins pilot equipped would not activate Stealth upon landing.
  • Fixed a bug where Shenlou would not receive Aegis when using its Chain Blink ability.
  • Fixed a bug where Ultimate Fujin would not receive a bonus to movement speed when using its Self-Support Mode ability.
  • Fixed a bug where camera would go to an incorrect position on the map when deploying Fenrir or Ultimate Fenrir.
  • Fixed a bug where Ultimate Rayker would not deal bonus damage to targets affected by Suppression.
  • Fixed a bug where the aiming area of Screamer would follow the camera rotation slower than that of Howler.
  • Fixed a bug where Squad or Custom Game invites would not include information about the inviting player.

War Robots - Cinder Schutze
As of the release of 10.5.2, we are gradually replacing the existing Module system with Specializations. When you update the game to 10.5.2 you will find the Modules tab of your robot loadouts unavailable. All Passive and Active modules that were equipped prior to the update will remain available to you in battles for a few more days. At some point, your Passive modules will be converted into the new Modules currency. At the same time, your Active modules will become temporarily unavailable. You will get access to Active modules again when the Specializations feature is fully released on your platform.

THE BASICS

After arriving in your Hangar and choosing any Robot or Titan above Tier 1, you will find the Specialization button in the Weapon menu. These rows of hexagons are your robot’s Specializations. Each consists of Сells that grant your robot various benefits once you unlock them. Some provide fixed Permanent Effects, while others contain Modules which can be leveled up all at once by upgrading their respective Cell. You can switch between Specializations and swap Modules within their Cells, tailoring your robot for a specific playstyle.

Most robots have access to 1 Basic and 3 Additional Specializations. Unlocking all Cells in the Basic Specialization gives you access to the Active Module slot and provides a small boost to backbone stats like Durability and Weapon Damage. It is something to consider an essential upgrade for any build. Additional Specializations, in turn, allow you to play around with the focus of your robot. We will explain them in the next section. For now, remember that Additional Specializations only become available when all Cells in the Basic Specialization are unlocked.

The other thing to keep in mind is that Specializations can be selected or deselected. A selected Specialization provides your robot with bonuses from all of its Cells, while deselected Specializations only boost a robot with their Permanent Effects and their Cells with Passive Modules inside that Specialization remain inactive. The Basic Specialization is always selected and cannot be changed. An Additional Specialization is selected only when you choose to do so. You will need to decide which Additional Specialization to run with depending on the Modules it offers. This way, you can customize your robot for the combat role you chose for it.

Specialization upgrades and unlocks will be available via a new currency called Modules, which you can get from Leaderboards, Battle Crates and various other sources.

OFFENSE / DEFENSE / CLASS

At first, only one Specialization is available to your robot. It's called the Base and you need to fully unlock its Cells to progress further. The Base Specialization includes 2 Cells with Permanent Effects, 1 Cell for a Passive Module and, most importantly, 1 Cell for an Active Module at the end. Once you complete it, the Base Specialization will stay selected and further options will become available to you.

Now, you get to choose 1 out of 3 different Specializations to upgrade. You also need to decide which one to keep selected. Feel free to experiment — switching between them doesn’t require any time or resources.

Out of the 3 Additional Specializations 2 are universal for all robots: Attack and Defense. The third one is a unique Class Specialization, and it will vary from robot to robot. There are 5 predetermined Classes: Saboteur, Support, Raider, Brawler and Damage Dealer. Switching on one of these Specializations allows you to give a boost to your robot’s main combat role.

Titan Specializations are a bit different. The Base is similarly the first and only Specialization that has to be upgraded before accessing Additional Specializations. It will be selected at all times, but unlike robot Specializations, it doesn’t have a Cell for an Active Module. Attack and Defense Specializations are universally present on all Titans. There are two Titan Classes: Brawler and Damage Dealer.

You can check the details of each Specialization for Robots and Titans in the tables below.

PASSIVE AND ACTIVE MODULES

Active Modules remain mostly the same. They can be found and swapped in the last Cell of a robot’s Base Specialization.

However, the list of Passive Modules has gone through a series of changes: some of them have been reworked and now grant different benefits to the robot, some removed, and some new ones added. Passive Modules are located in dedicated Specialization Cells, and can be interchanged within them. The Cells themselves can be upgraded, which increases the benefits of all Passive Modules they contain. Passive Modules are only active when their Specialization is selected. You can check out the Specialization table above to see which Cell has access to which Modules.

Here’s the full list of all passive modules and the benefits they provide:

Robots

  • Armor Kit – Increases robot durability.
  • Nuclear Reactor – Increases output damage.
  • Heavy Armor Kit – Significantly increases robot durability.
  • Thermonuclear Reactor – Significantly increases output damage.
  • Piercer Unit – Allows dealing more damage to the enemies using defence systems: the module ignores a certain percent of Defence Points.
  • Fortifier – Increases the durability of all shields and increases the regeneration speed of energy shields. Effect stacks with other shield bonuses.
  • Anticontrol – Automatically removes Lock-down and Suppression effects and provides temporary protection against them. Reloads after activation. The more modules, the shorter the reload time. Three maxed modules provide permanent protection against Lock-down and Suppression effects. Base cooldown: 50 sec.
  • Nuclear Amplifier – For every 25000 damage inflicted on the enemy, your robot receives a small damage boost for the entire battle. Upon reaching the maximum possible bonuses, the robot recovers part of its durability and its cannons receive additional defence mitigation. When installing several such modules, the speed of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum bonus damage.
  • Onslaught Unit – Significantly increases the damage of equipped and built-in weapons and the damage dealt to Titans.
  • Titan Slayer – Significantly increases the damage equipped and built-in weapons deal to Titans.
  • Integrated Power Unit – Increases damage from built-in weapons.
  • Repair Amplifier – When receiving damage, your robot gains a 0.03% bonus to regeneration for the entire battle. When the maximum bonuses are reached, the robot receives defense points and restores a percentage of grey damage to itself. When installing several such modules, the speed of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum value. The base durability loss required for bonuses to stack is 9%.
  • Self-fix Unit – Constantly restores the robot's durability.
  • Immune Amplifier – For every 20 000 damage received, your robot gets a small bonus to increase its maximum Durability for the entire battle. Upon reaching 20 of the possible bonuses, the robot becomes immune to FREEZE; upon reaching 40 of the possible bonuses, the robot becomes immune to LOCK-DOWN and upon reaching 60 (maximum) of the possible bonuses the robot becomes immune to SUPRESSION. All of the immunities stay active for the entire battle. Your robot initially gets passive bonuses that increase its Durability and Speed as well. When installing several such modules, the speed of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum amount.
  • Last Stand – Upon reaching a critical durability level, the robot gets a huge amount of temporary defence points. Several modules raise the durability threshold required for activating invulnerability.
  • Robot Accelerator – Increases the robot's movement speed.
  • Cloaking Unit – If the robot loses 10% of its durability over 3 seconds, the module activates temporary stealth, preventing enemies from being able to lock on to you. One module activates once per battle. The number of activations depends on the number of modules equipped.
  • Beacon Operator – Increases the speed of capturing beacons by 15%.
  • Overdrive Unit – While the robot's durability is at a critical level, all weapons have increased damage. If the robot has several such modules equipped, their damage bonuses are combined, and the critical durability threshold is increased.
  • Assault Unit – Increases damage at a range of up to 300 meters.
  • Rangefinder Unit – Increases damage at a range of 600 to 1100 meters.

Titans

  • Titan Armor Kit – Significantly increases Titan durability.
  • Singularity Reactor – Increases equipped and built-in weapons’ damage.
  • Plated Armor Kit – Significantly increases Titan durability.
  • Antimatter Reactor – Significantly increases the damage of equipped and built-in weapons.
  • Onslaught Reactor – Significantly increases the damage of equipped and built-in weapons and the damage dealt to Titans.
  • Quantum Sensor – Allows locking on to enemies in stealth mode. Activates automatically.
  • Titan Fortifier – Increases the durability of all shields and increases the regeneration speed of energy shields. This effect stacks with other shield bonuses.
  • Titan Repair Amplifier – When receiving damage, your Titan gains a 0.03% bonus to regeneration for the entire battle. When the maximum bonuses are reached, the Titan restores a percentage of its Durability and grey damage, and also becomes immune to Defense Mitigation. When installing several such modules, the speed of receiving the bonuses increases, but not their maximum value. The base Durability loss required for bonuses to stack is 7%.
  • Damage Controller – Increases your Titan’s durability and reduces the grey damage it receives.
  • Titan Anticontrol – Increases Titan durability and automatically removes Lock-down, Suppression and Freeze effects and provides temporary protection against them. Reloads after activation. The more modules there are, the shorter the reload time. 2 maxed modules provide permanent protection against Lock-down, Suppression and Freeze effects. Base cooldown: 50 sec.
  • Self-fix Reactor – Constantly restores the Titan's durability.
  • Cannibal Reactor – Significantly increases the damage equipped and built-in weapons deal to Titans.
  • Titan Nuclear Amplifier – For every 25000 damage inflicted on the enemy, your Titan receives a small damage boost for the entire battle. Upon reaching the maximum possible bonuses, the Titan recovers part of its durability and its cannons receive additional defence mitigation. When installing several such modules, the speed of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum bonus damage.
  • Overdrive Reactor – While the robot's durability is at a critical level, all weapons have increased damage.

COMPENSATION AND CONVERSION RATES

After the Specializations are released, all of your old Passive modules will be converted into a new currency. The final amount of it will depend on the type (Robot/Titan), tier, level and the number of Passive modules you previously had in your Hangar. Power Cells or Active modules will not contribute to the conversion rates.

Fully upgrading 1 Base and 1 Additional Specialization of your choice will cost you 1770 Modules for a robot and 3540 Modules for a Titan, so researching and weighing your options can be a good strategy before committing to a certain path. To give you even more upgrade possibilities, there’s also going to be a welcome gift of free 10 000 Modules right after Specializations are released.

You can check out how much of the new currency each old Passive module will bring in the tables below:

🔹 Old Passive Robot modules🔹

🔸 Old Passive Titan modules🔸

In addition to receiving a new currency for your old Passive modules, you’ll also get additional in-game valuables. The amount of additional rewards depends on the amount of compensation you have received. For each threshold listed in the table below you get 1 Upgrade Token.

🎁 Additional rewards depending on the currency you received 🎁

DUX: NEW ROBOT BUILD

Dux never goes into battle alone. The robot is accompanied by three hovering attack bots at all times. The bots focus their fire on the same target as Dux and reload together with their host. The Mastermind ability allows Dux to send its bots into overdrive, gaining both offensive and defensive bonuses. While not adequately equipped for close-range brawls, Dux is extremely dangerous in prolonged mid-range fights, where the bots help the robot outlast most of its opponents.

DUX

Maybe we can try to negotiate with the Swarm now.

Mastermind: Companion bots go into overdrive and receive combat boosts depending on their class. Gunner bot: +40% damage, +100% Defense Mitigation for the built-in weapon (the target’s Defense Points won’t reduce damage from the bot’s weapon). Shield bot: applies Aegis and a movement speed bonus to Dux. Support bot: gradually repairs Dux. Mastermind effects only remain active for the duration of the ability.

WEBBY

A very picky drone

Ability 1: The drone has a built-in cannon with the BLAST effect.

Ability 2: The drone increases the robot’s damage output. The effect is always active.

Ability 3: When the robot is moving fast enough, Webby’s built-in weapon applies SLOWDOWN.

Ability 4: When the robot is under the Extra Defense Mitigation effect, Webby’s built-in weapon applies RUST.

MINOS: NEW ULTIMATE BUILD

The horned Titan is once again ready to go head to head with any opponent! By skillfully steering Ultimate Minos during the charge, Commanders can apply EMP to the target and shut off its retreat. The fourth track of upgrades makes Ultimate Minos immune to LOCKDOWN, SUPPRESSION and EMP, so that nothing can stand in the way of the charging bull.

ULTIMATE MINOS

Coming through!

Charge: The Titan accelerates and activates a destructive magnetic field around itself. Enemies that get in the way are damaged and knocked back. Each hit of the magnetic field accumulates the EMP effect (Cooldown: 10 sec; Effect radius: 100 m).

Reflector: For the duration of the ability, the Titan gains protection that partially blocks any damage received and redirects it to the opponent dealing it. Reflector doesn't fully protect the Titan, but it can't be mitigated (Cooldown: 13 sec).

Ultimate Anticontrol: Automatically removes Lock-down, Suppression and EMP effects and provides temporary protection against them. Reloads after activation. The maxed-out ability provides permanent protection against Lock-down, Suppression and EMP effects (Base cooldown: 25 sec).

OONA GLOW

A ray of sunshine in the gloomy darkness of the autumn

Oona's Dexterity: The Durability of Minos is increased.

Glowing Speed: After the Reflector ability is activated, Minos gets a significant bonus to Movement Speed.

Additional Defense: After Charge is activated, Minos gains additional Defense Points.

OTHER ADDITIONS

FREDERICK

Full speed ahead!

Attack Wave: After a short delay, the robot receives a powerful damage and Movement Speed bonus. It starts off as 10 stacks of 10% bonuses. 1 stack goes down every X seconds, so the robot’s bonus constantly decreases.

SPECIALIZATIONS

Passive Modules are now replaced with Specializations, which provide deeper options for tailoring robots for a specific combat role. You can upgrade the Specializations of a specific robot in your Hangar to unlock passive bonuses and Module Slots.

Apart from the Basic Specialization which provides access to some primary bonuses and the Active Module, there are three Advanced Specializations: Offense, Defense and Class. Each of them includes bonuses and Modules of a specific type. The smaller bonuses are always active, while the Modules only boost your robot if you activate their respective Specialization. Only one Specialization can be active at a time. Switching between Specializations and the Modules within them is instant and free.

We've explained the feature in detail in a separate article here: https://warrobots.com/posts/388

When the feature goes live, the existing Passive Modules will be deleted and you will receive a message in the game containing the details of your compensation.

BATTLE CRATES

Battle Crates are the new version of the additional battle reward system. As you earn Honor Points in battles, you progress towards Battle Crates, which now refresh on a weekly basis. Three Crates are available to you each week. It takes progressively more Honor Points to unlock each consecutive Crate, but they also offer increasingly better rewards. Once you have collected rewards from all three Crates, you need to wait for them to refresh to start getting Crate progress again.

In addition to the updated UI, there are two major updates to the system:

  • Crate rewards will no longer contain Components. The primary rewards will be various resources.
  • Only the Crates corresponding to your League will be available to you. Higher-league Crates will offer significantly better rewards.

ARCANE CASTLE

Dark clouds are hanging over the Castle. The mountain resort is under the influence of an inexplicable phenomenon supposedly caused by the Warp. Deploy on this map at your own peril!

It also gains energy shielding after each jump. Now you see it... now you don't!

FRIEND SYSTEM REWORK

Important: your current friend list will be reset as soon as the new system is deployed. Please save the in-game IDs of players you want to stay in touch with. You will be able to re-add them as friends quickly using the SEARCH FOR COMMANDERS tab in the CLANS interface.

In the new Friends system we are unlinking friendships from Facebook — having a Facebook account is not required anymore. You’ll be able to add any Commander to your Friends list either by knowing their game ID or just by checking their profiles after a battle. Enter the profile, tap the “Friend Request” button, wait for a response and it’s done. Simplicity is what we aim for.

To commemorate this, we added the new FRIENDLY title. You get it by befriending people and playing in Squads.

NEW TITAN: EIFFEL

A high-tech Titan with huge firepower developed by Icarus Corporation engineers. The main ability of the Titan, in addition to flight, allows you to summon additional armor and two Alpha weapons, which makes this Titan a serious opponent in the air.

On top of that, Eiffel can use its dash move for maneuverability both on the ground and in the air. Dash is an interesting mechanic, as it relies on the game physics. That means you can use it more effectively if you practice the timings to maximize your momentum.

Pilot: Jimmy Hermes
Carbon Cockpit. After using abilities, the Titan's defense system is increased
Racer. Increases Eiffel speed.
Long Afterburner. The debut boost lasts longer

NEW ROBOT: CURIE

An example of the further development of teleportation technologies by Icarus engineers. Seeming fragile at first glance, the robot changes greatly when combat mode is activated as two rapid-fire autonomous turrets are teleported nearby. While those turrets stand, Curie also gets some armor plates, making it an extremely capable brawler while you’re fighting it on its turf.

Pilot: Zoe Bilotte
Zoe's Touch. Curie's ability recharges faster

NEW DRONE: PASCAL

An amazing companion drone — always there to support you in battle! Bring DOOM to your enemies when it's on your side! It will protect you in critical moments and help out when you’re on the offensive with additional combat power.

  • On Threshold: Repair %. The robot restores a percentage of its Durability and gray damage once upon reaching a threshold of 70%/50%/30% Durability.
  • On Kill/Assist: Bonus Damage. The robot gets a damage bonus on kills and assists. The bonus stacks up to 10 times.
  • On Threshold: Resist. The power of the robot’s defense system is increased once upon reaching a threshold of 70%/50%/30% Durability.
  • Additional damage. This drone increases the output damage of the robot. The effect is active all the time.
  • NEW WEAPON: SUBDUER
Heavy version of a rapid-firing energy machine gun. Each hit inflicts a RUST effect, decreasing robot Durability recovery from by 10% with 1 stack to by 90% with 30 maximum stacks.
    NEW TITAN WEAPONS: DISCORDIA, TUMULTUS
High-speed machine gun. Its projectiles are aimed at the enemy in the targeting reticle after flying 200 meters. When the machine gun is fired continuously, it warms up and its rate of fire increases by 30%.
NEW ULTIMATE EDITIONS: FENRIR, HALO, GLORY
This September, you voted for the next Ultimate Edition in the special Community Survey, and it's in the game now!Ultimate Fenrir is even tankier than the standard version, with a beefed-up Aegis shield and quicker movement. When you upgrade it to the maximum level, it starts taking less gray damage. You can equip it with Ultimate Glory and Corona to recreate that 2019 iconic build. And if you want to refresh your Fenrir gameplay, both Ultimate and standard, look no further than Liesel and B4R-0N-N3T.Liesel's Strategic Mindset.Fenrir has an enhanced defense system that is immune to defense reduction, but the Aegis shield is not available.
    PREMIUM ADDITIONS
Starting from this update, the Premium Subscription provides extra Daily Tasks. The math here is simple: more tasks means more resources.Additionally, you will get a number of daily “Ad Skips”. Premium users will be able to receive Ad rewards without watching Ads a few times every day. That covers everything you can watch Ads for: speeding-up upgrades, getting extra battle rewards, completing tasks, etc. Using the skip will just give you the reward for watching outright. All other Premium bonuses, such as extra Silver in battles and faster upgrades, will remain intact. You’ll be getting those along with the new bonuses.

NEW FEATURE: KILL ASSISTS

A quality of life addition that will appear in your battles. If you deal a lot of damage to a robot (at least 40% of its Durability), but don’t finish it off, you will get an "ASSIST" notification if the robot is destroyed within 10 seconds after that by your teammate. You also get a sweet Honor Points, resulting in more Silver after the battle. The number of Honor Points depends on your League, but it is near half of what you would get if you destroyed the enemy by yourself.

CROSS-PLATFORM SQUADS AND PRIVATE MATCHES

One of the most awaited cross-platform improvements.

After this update, you can finally meet people from other platforms in Battles, but you will also be able to fight side by side with them in one squad!

So remember all of your friends' IDs. You can all play together now, no matter what platform you use!

NEW ROBOT: DAGON

Dagon is the first robot in history with more than four weapon slots. Six light weapons combine for great combat power and allow you to quickly apply negative status effects to your opponents.

Speaking of tactics, Dagon's ability is pretty simple. The robot has a personal Aegis shield, and when you press the ability button, the shield starts to regenerate at a faster rate. Dagon also gains additional speed while the ability lasts.

NEW WEAPONS: TAMER, DAMPER, TRICKSTER, DECEIVER

Tamer and Damper are two rapid-firing energy gun variants which applies Rust effects, preventing the enemy from effectively restoring Durability. Trickster and Deceiver quickly annihilate enemies with a powerful DoT effect. All these weapons fire in unison which makes it easier to combine them into effective builds.

NEW DRONE: SEEKER

A really perceptive drone that can improve your robot in several ways. It provides a passive bonus to shield Durability, improves weapons with 200m passive Quantum Radar and provides Counterblind and Countersuppresion capabilities. These two effects activate when enemy robots attack you. All nearby attackers within 200m will be affected by Suppression and all the snipers from 600m and more will be blinded.

NEW MOTHERSHIP: MUTE

The ship was created by Icarus Technologies to disable the main systems of enemy robots and Titans. Its camouflage paintjob and numerous jammers help it to stalk outer space unnoticed until it strikes.

Shutdown: Applies Blind and EMP to enemy robots in range upon activation.

NEW TURRET: LOCK DOWN BLAST CANNON

Attack Turret. After a slight delay, the turret deals devastating area damage and applies Lock-down to enemies in the target area.

NEW ULTIMATE EDITIONS: FUJIN, AVENGER, PUNISHER T

Fujin is one of the machines instantly associated with War Robots, so we wanted to make its Ultimate version as memorable as possible.

Fujin now has 1 Heavy slot, 2 Medium slots and an Aegis shield. Ultimate Fujin moves faster and recovers some Durability while its ability is active. It can even restore a portion of grey damage. If you reach the maximum Durability the unspent repairs will be converted into shield power.

Avenger and Punisher will also receive an Ultimate version that will cause extra damage, have faster reload and less shot dispersion.

NEW PILOTS: SEVEN AND NATHAN FLEMING

Seven is a mystery. The scientists are sure that she has supernatural abilities, which is why she was kept in the EvoLife labs for a long time.

Seven's Friend: After the end of the ability, the robot heals 15% of its Durability and 10% of the Durability from the damage dealt to enemies while the ability was active.

Nathan Fleming is an intelligent and passionate scientist. He is known for his expeditions to the outer border of populated space. His ship was also where Seven was kept while her abilities were being investigated until a serious event took place.

Nathan's Support: While its ability is active, Dagon gets additional 25% shield Durability.

EVENT TITLE

Don't miss your chance to get the ALIEN event title! It's an exclusive reward which can only be acquired during the EvoLife’s Bizarre Robots event. You get to keep the title after the event ends if you fulfill all of its requirements until then.

BUGFIXES AND VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS
