Update #24 - v1.1520

Vortex: The Gateway - StormCube Games

This update includes the following changes among others:

machete, lighter and stone axe items can't be thrown away and they won't take any backpack space
stamina decrease with weapon use is less intense
blood effect intensity decreased
mind control alien spawn fix
some crafting related fixes
smoother pickup handling for regrowing items
full controller support
drone piece needed for blaster trap fixed (you have to start a new game for this to work)
drone slider lights turned off in blueprint mode
default controller triggers for attack and defend swapped
English localization fixes
Russian localization fixes
Hungarian localization fixes

item marker icons smaller and transparent
player pickup/interact range tweak
alien spaceship will stay longer
Mind Control Alien spawn tweaks
Steam achievement: Master Hunter fixed
gas mask anomalies when loading the game fixed
items left on the ground will disappear sooner
enemies caught by traps will disappear as other dead bodies
stones won't disappear
narration pause issues that caused Mike to stop talking fixed
some sound tweaks
controller can be used in the main menu
Japanese localization fixes

The game got several major updates since the release that enhanced the performance drastically.

This update includes the following changes:

graphical enhancements of the vegetation (distant object and texture fixes)
previously missing localization texts included

Update #21 - v1.1484

Vortex: The Gateway - StormCube Games

This update includes the following changes:

Save files got corrupted with update #19 and #20, these will be erased, the problem for future saves is fixed! If you have a save file before update #19 then it will work fine. We are sorry for the possible inconvenience that this issue might have caused.
