Left 4 Dead 2 - Valve
Updates to Left 4 Dead 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

- Item density revision
- Various minor bugs fixed.

Dead Air 2 – The Crane:
- Fixed bug where the tooltip for the Crane Event would appear near the start of the map instead of near the crane.
- Fixed an exploit where survivors could skip the crane event by jumping onto the fence and across the gap.
- Removed hotel luggage carts to prevent survivors from having their progress blocked.
- Removed an exploit where survivors were able to jump from the roofs following the crane to the ground, skipping the office section entirely.

Dead Air 3 – The Construction Site:
- Fixed a case where an SI ladder was being blocked by a door prop in the construction site.
- Fixed an invisible wall in a rescue closet in the construction site.

Dead Air 4 – The Terminal:
- Fixed a bug where the Van event tooltip would appear at the start of the map, instead of when nearing the van itself.
- Tweaked van event start so that the horde begins after the van begins to make noise, not before.
- Added tooltip to prompt players to fight to the safe room when the onslaught begins.

Dead Air 5 – Runway Finale:
- Added an info_director entity.
- Swapped out L4D2 mounted gun for the L4D1 mini-gun.

Death Toll 5 – Boat House Finale:
- Fixed a bug where the survivor closet doors near the finale could not be broken by infected players until the finale started.
Day of Defeat: Source - Valve
Updates to Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Source Engine Changes (TF2, DoD:S, HL2:DM)
  • Fixed a demo/replay playback crash
  • Changed the way bot counts are displayed in the server browser: the bot column is now next to the player column and always visible. Bot count is no longer subtracted from maxplayers.

Team Fortress 2
  • Added the Aladdin's Private Reserve for the Demo
  • Fixed a bug where the Medic would lose his healing target's speed when deploying his ÜberCharge while using the Quick-Fix
  • Fixed a bug that would cause some Team Spirit painted hats to show as black-painted in the Steam Community
  • Localized the team goal strings for cp_steel and pl_frontier
  • Added missing level_data strings to kill_eater_score_type elements in the GetSchema WebAPI response
  • Updated pl_frontier with author-submitted fixes:
    • small prop adjustments
    • several unsewn/gappy displacements fixed up
    • func_push altered below final capture point
  • Undocumented changes: Updated all localization files

Death Toll 1:
- Fixed a case where several rock props were intruding through a wall near the safe room.

Death Toll 2:
- Fixed an case where survivors could jump into infected-only areas using an electrical box in the bridge holdout room.

Death Toll 3:
- Removed an exploit where players could jump from the wheel pedestal of a flatcar onto a train car to skip the balcony area and exit the train yard.
- Altered the PZ spawn area near the train yard exit. Instead of a tanker and a pile of gravel, it is now an overturned truck and van.
- Church guy zombie returns!

Death Toll 4:
- Blocked survivors jumping onto the left bus from the fence near the start, which allowed players to skip the beginning of the map.
- Fixed pipe hanging in the middle of a room during end-level onslaught.
- Removed the mounted gun, as this was causing players to try to outlast an infinite horde.
- Added tooltip to prompt players to fight to the safe room when the onslaught begins.
- Fixed a case where survivors could climb an electrical box prop into infected-only areas during the onslaught.
- Fixed end-level trigger size exploit, which allowed players to stall the end of the map trigger by standing on top of a water-cooler.

Death Toll 5:
- Swapped out the L4D2 mounted gun for the L4D1 mini-gun.
Team Fortress 2 - Valve
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:
  • Added new promo items
  • Fixed paint preview not working for Mann Co. Store items
  • Fixed the Lucky Shot not hiding the base Soldier helmet
  • Did not update the localization files

- Added game event calls for onslaughts to explain to players that they need to fight their way to the safe room.
Modders can make use of this by pointing an info_game_event_proxy entity to “explain_onslaught”
- All maps received minor tweaks and bug fixes , the significant changes are listed.

Crash Course 1 – The Alleys:
- Item spawn density revision.
- Opened the side-doors leading to potential item spawns.
- Switched out L4D2 mounted gun for the L4D1 minigun.
- Removed exploit where survivors could get onto a roof near the drop down to the river.

Crash Course 2 – The Truck Depot Finale:
- Item spawn density revision.
- Switched out L4D2 mounted gun for the L4D1 minigun.
- Removed exploit where survivors could jump onto the top of a generator during the finale.

Cold Stream 1 – Alpine Creek:
- Fixed water moving uphill in some spots.

Cold Stream 2 – South Pine Stream:
- Removed “shortcut” through the bushes between a pair of barricades leading to the barrel explosion event.
- Added tooltip to prompt players to fight to the safe room when the onslaught begins.
- Tuned the horde numbers back a bit during the onslaught event.
- Moved the sun to help guide new players.
- Blocked ability to get under the river.

Cold Stream 3 – Memorial Bridge:
- Added many more infected ladders around buses.
- Rebuilt catwalk under the bridge to prevent players getting caught on geometry.
- Moved the M60 and Laser Sights upgrade to more vulnerable locations.
- Removed ammo pile in the shop just before the junk yard, but kept the weapons.

Cold Stream 4 – Cut-throat Creek:
- Added some light cover for the tank in the basin area.
- Removed survivor manhole exit into the second half of the map.
- Added side-hall in the sewer as a shortcut for infected players going to the second half of the map, and as a strategic place to spawn in the sewer.
- Added new truck depot area near the tower for infected to spawn in.
- Opened a warehouse door for infected to spawn in.
- Added infected ladders in the CEDA checkpoint area.
- Rebuilt stairway up the finale tower to prevent players getting caught on geometry.
Day of Defeat: Source - Valve
Updates to Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Source Engine Changes (TF2, DoD:S, HL2:DM)
  • Limit the effective FOV of players using wide-screen resolutions with aspect ratios wider than 1.85:1. The sv_restrict_aspect_ratio_fov ConVar can be changed to remove the restriction or make the restriction also apply to full-screen players.

Team Fortress 2
  • Fixed Cp_Foundry not ending the map in the middle of a round when mp_timelimit is hit
  • Fixed the Spy saying 'Prego' for one of his 'Thanks!' lines
  • Fixed incorrect player animations for the Buff Banner and the Battalion's Backup
  • Fixed some cases where strange Ullapool Cabers and wrenches would fail to correctly count kills
  • Improvements for client stability
  • Updated the localization files
  • Crafting changes:
    • Added crafting recipes for weapons introduced during the holiday update
    • When selecting items for use in crafting, the items selected will show their quality in addition to the item name
    • Ellis's Cap can now be used as a crafting reagent
  • Item changes
    • Added The Lucky Shot helmet
    • Added The Killer Exclusive to the Mann Co. store
    • Added Mask of the Shaman to the item drop list
    • Fixed particle display problems for items with multiple effects
    • Fixed the Dr. Whoa paint not drawing correctly for the Blue team
    • Updated the Desert Marauder and the Villain's Veil so they can be equipped together
    • Updated the Fancy Dress Uniform and the Kringle Collection so they can be equipped together
    • The Bombinomicon no longer shakes the screen and has a delay before the explosion so that Snipers, Spies, and others can get better feedback on the actual cause of death
    • The Bazaar Bargain functionality has changed: only one stored head is lost on a miss or a bodyshot and no heads are gained when missing while crit-boosted
