Version 2.1
A small update, sorry that the content has been slower to come out than we wanted. A personal family issue has left most of the dev team unable to work on the project for the past 2 weeks.
This update fixes what should be the final issues with not using Vsync:
- Flashing background now pulses much slower
- Cutscene timer triggers are correct
- Credits scroll correctly
- Camera movement is smoothed

Also in this patch we want to thank our community for bringing to our attention an issue where sometimes certain achievements would not trigger when completed. This has now been changed so all achievements should activate correctly we are sorry for anyone who completed an achievement only to have it not trigger.

Thank you again for your support and feedback,
as promised we are posting a series of updates as soon as we can work on them.
This is the first update tackling some of the biggest issues raised by players.
The main update here is to the controls:
- Player can now jump for a few frames after leaving a platform
- Player will now automatically wall jump when leaving a wall
- Player can now fast fall by holding down when wall sliding

Frame rate issues:
- Experience with this may vary but we have uncoupled game logic from the frame rate, we still recommend using Vsync in the options however the game should now function normally at frame rates higher than 60 frames a second.

We have updated the layout of level 4 addressing complaints about its layout, we have also updated several graphical assets.

More level redesigns, graphical updates and story content to be added to the game over the coming weeks so keep an eye out.

One final note, we have acknowledged that the price is fairly steep so we are reducing the price of the game, if you bought on sale do not worry as the game will still be more expensive than it was on sale but now the game has been out for many many months we think the time is right to reduce the base price. (this pricing change will come into effect in the next couple of days)

Hey everyone!

You may have seen that Transhaping got on the front page of the Steam LGBTQ+ sale page!
We're very grateful for this to happen and it has helped the game blow up basically overnight.

However, we have heard your opinions and your feedback and we are going to be putting out an update to improve controls and make the game a lot better.

Transhaping was the first game we have ever developed. It was something that us as a team, had a massive passion for. We know that the game is not at the standard that it could be at.

Since the game was released, we have grown a lot more as a development company. We never thought this game would get the exposure it has, especially overnight.

Here are our current plans for the update:

- Improve controls (Mainly focus on wall jumps and jumping movement).
- Redesign some levels
- More co-op levels - Although this is not the main focus of the game, since Steam is adding Remote Play Together, we would like to add more.

We would also like to update the graphics, although this might not come out in the same update. A fresh lick of paint will make the game look much better, our designer has improved a lot on games asset development too!

We are putting the development of Pixel Planet on hold for a bit whilst we focus on making Transhaping a game that everyone can enjoy.

To celebrate Trans Day of Visibility (March 31st) we have put Transhaping on sale. Hope you had a lovely day and have had a lovely week. We hoped with our game that we could spread some positivity and shine some light on trans issues so days like TDoV are important to us a team to celebrate. Sale is on till April 8th.

Small Patch:

Fixed issue where crouch animation would not play fully before you could go under a gap so animation would look dodgy.

Improved the crawl animation for the rectangle.

Fixed fuzzy looking rectangles in the co-op mode when they are scaled.

Patch:

Wall jumping has been modified, now if you hold into a wall that can be jumped off or are near one when falling you will slide down the wall instead of dropping, this allows for a lot more time to line up jumps and should make wall jumping less frustrating for some people.

Minor changes to certain maps in co-op.

Small patch:
Fixed sound effect issues not always playing
Fixed issue with menu rebinding not working
Radios will now shuffle through songs

Quick patch to improve performance of the game, noticed issue where the frame rate would stutter, this should now be fixed. Also patched subtitle typos.
