Here's a whole roundup of every free update we've added to Planet Coaster 2 since launch:

Alongside flume enhancements, Update 1 includes loading and unloading stations, fireworks, bug fixes and more!

This update included billboards, synchronisation for coasters, tracked rides and flumes, interchangeable coaster cars, standard versions of two coasters, and a thrilling flat ride from the original Planet Coaster. PC players can also be extra creative, with the ability to customise content for billboards and speakers!

Update 3 included enhanced flume behaviours such as round-bottomed flumes and jettisoning, the returning Western theme, Career maps from Act 1 available in Sandbox, standard “de-themed” versions of two coasters, and a thrilling returning attraction from the original Planet Coaster.

This update included restaurants, pool water and scenery tiles colour customisation, Workshop and Franchise enhancements, standard “de-themed” versions of two coasters, and an exciting returning flat ride from the original Planet Coaster.

Hello everyone,

I’m the developer of Stellar Wings. First and foremost, thank you to all the players who followed, played, and gave feedback after the release of the demo.

In truth, the outcome of this project has fallen short of my initial expectations. As such, I’ve decided to discontinue the development of Stellar Wings.

This game set out to merge 4X strategy with bullet hell shooter mechanics—an ambitious blend that I hoped would bring something fresh and exciting to players. However, after the demo release, the actual market response made it clear that this combination was not as well-received as I had hoped. Fans of 4X strategy found the intense real-time combat and bullet-dodging to be overwhelming, while bullet hell enthusiasts were generally uninterested in the resource management and map exploration aspects. As a result, it became difficult to meet the needs of both player groups, and the overall experience turned out to be unfocused.

From the beginning, our goal was to deliver an engaging and coherent experience. Unfortunately, based on the current design framework and player feedback, I realized that continuing development would likely not lead us to that goal.

Therefore, I’ve made the decision to officially cease further development of Stellar Wings.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported the project, tried out the demo, and offered thoughtful suggestions. Your voices helped me see this attempt more clearly, and I’ve learned a great deal that I’ll carry with me in future projects.

While this chapter ends with some regret, it doesn’t mean I’m stopping here. I’ll continue creating new games and exploring fresh ideas and directions.

With this patch out, our small but mighty team is now fully focused on what comes next and it’s going to be big. You can still expect smaller, quality of life improvement updates in the meantime.

Improvements 
  • Increased the light on bloodbags

  • Improved heartbeat intensity and logic

  • Merged two exit doors in the Second Stage Cell Block so they always open together and count as one exit

We're thrilled to finally share some significant news with you all. For us, this is a genuine ‘pinch-yourself’ moment that we’re incredibly excited to announce. Our passion project, Gangs Of Asia “GOA” is officially partnering with the legendary MicroProse as our publisher.

To say we’re honored is an understatement.

For those who have followed our story, you’ll know that MoonPunch has been a core part of our lives for the better part of a decade. For nine years, this project has been built in our spare time with a custom engine and hand drawn pixels by just the two of us, a couple of game development veterans who wanted to create something from the ground up that we’d love to play.

Our goal with MoonPunch has always been to make a game that’s uniquely fun, especially with friends.

It’s designed to be the kind of experience that sparks laughter and friendly competition, something you can enjoy for hours on end.

That’s why this partnership with MicroProse feels so perfect. We both grew up when the MicroProse name on a game box meant you were getting something different and special. Their titles weren’t mass-produced; they were innovative and had a distinct quality.

Seeing MicroProse return to champion independent developers and unique gameplay ideas is fantastic for the entire industry. In a climate that can often feel driven by large-scale corporate interests, their focus on creativity and passion is a welcome return to form. They truly seem to understand what it takes to bring a unique vision to life. We are incredibly humbled and grateful for this opportunity. 

The team at MicroProse shares our vision, and with their support, we're looking forward to finally getting GOA into your hands.

Dome shields have begun covering cashout stations across the Arenas as Season 7 sponsor-interloper CNS are taking over the show in World Tour. While the event is active, cash in and defend your prize with the extra help of a damage-blocking dome for your team to rally inside! 

Stealing the cashout also swaps ownership of the shield, and resets its HP back to full! If you’re trying to find the right opportunity to break through it, a well placed glitch Grenade temporarily disables the shield for 5 seconds!

VAIIYA may have eyes everywhere, but CNS know how to keep their secrets safe and locked down.

Store Update:

Summer is hitting the store with the Pool Flamingun set and the Bounce Back ball, essentials for any high stake water fight or Arena showdown! This isn't your grandma's garden party! But the Floral Fatale set does make for a blooming and booming showing.

Once the dust settles, relax with the Sudden Lounge animation. Let’s hope you cleaned up the competition thoroughly or the new Throwing Knife skins will bring back some memories you might want to dodge!
