Hey everyone! We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you. Today on May 7th, all of us celebrate Ancient Forge's 5th anniversary 🥳. As co-founders of this Polish indie studio, we want to thank all players who have been with us during this amazing journey. We gathered the experience, tailored the strategy for our future titles and have watched our team grow from 20 to 50 amazing individuals over the past few months, and we're just getting started! ✨


We're ready to present our plans for the coming year, including the full release of Glorious Companions, an anniversary sale, and a mysterious new project that we are going to announce this June during the PC Gaming Show.

The Tenants and Pets DLC update

We at Ancient Forge are aware of the technical issues that some of you experience in the game. Right now, under the arrangement that is currently in effect, we are unable to address them with a bugfix update. However, we are working with The Tenants’ publisher on a solution that would allow further development and bug fixes. If that proves insufficient, we will explore other ways to improve the situation. We want you to be as happy with the game as when we worked over it together since early access to the full release. We will update you as soon as we get back to work on The Tenants!



In the meantime, our tactical, turn-based RPG project Glorious Companions is now back on track and heading straight to quit the early access and full release this December! You can grab it now with the anniversary bundle including The Tenants and the Glorious Companions.

  • Added a suggestion in the pet progression tab that the player should aim to complete the pet tutorial before unlocking more interactions.
  • Moved the starting point of the Pets DLC to after the player receives the cashflow main mission.

  • Fixed an issue with the pets tutorial where the game would lose the reference to the pet that the player was supposed to take care of.
  • Fixed an issue with the pets tutorial where it could become broken after selecting the wrong adoption option.

We’re pleased with the results of testing our experimental branch and with the Patch 1.2.8 we’re merging those experimental changes to the public branch of the game. This means that the initial loading before the main menu will get slightly longer for everyone, but loading a save file or starting a new game should go through much quicker.

We’re also taking down the experimental branch as it won’t be needed for now, to avoid any further confusion.

Let us know if you encounter any further issues, either related to the game loading / optimization or to the game/dlc itself.

General
  • Optimized asset loading on game startup. The game will now also collect more data, allowing us to investigate crashes and errors live using analytic services.
  • Tenants will now change their traits to positive ones after a successful test pet adoption period.
