The Last Haven - Alecksw
Greetings to all.

My name is Alecksw, many of you who have followed the game before know me as a developer who has been involved in the game and technical support of the project since the beta test.

Earlier, I reported that the problems with the development of the game are directly related to the war in Ukraine, this conflict really seriously affected the pace of development and improvement of the game.

Unfortunately, things didn't work out as I planned - there were catastrophic problems in my service, the release date was set, but I didn't have time to finalize the game - I had to ask my colleagues in a hurry to fix bugs while I myself was away.

For a long period I could not work on finalizing the project, and the rest of the developers were busy with a new project of our line - Total Conflict, which turned out really well and continues to please you.

The Last Haven is still in development.

Fortunately, I now have the conditions to work on my vacation, so soon I will try to fix critical bugs and patch up the game a little.
Please report bugs to me directly - you can always find my account in the discussions.

I will also additionally leave a comment under this post so that each of you can write to me about problems and wishes for the game. Add and write directly, please feel free to!

Friends! I am sincerely grateful to those who support the project no matter what! I really appreciate your trust and patience, thank you so much! I was forced to let down some of your expectations, however I will try to rectify the situation by any means!

During this short period, I will try to fix all critical and minor errors in order to make the project playable, until I can thoroughly work on it.

What do I plan for the future
  • a huge storyline with different outcomes that open after the player's decision in some situations.

  • add new locations and a new in-game global map, including secret bunkers, use them in other plot branches.

  • implement a separate storyline with the US army, with new models, equipment, capabilities.

  • implement new types of buildings for other locations, new methods of resource extraction (fishing?)

  • DLC, which will reveal new content.
This project is very close to me, you could also feel something special in terms of atmosphere.

Hi everyone!

We were silent for a long time, kept an operational pause, forced you to be upset about the lack of support for the game, I'm sure you have serious doubts that the game will reach the release. I think it's time to show the cards.
It's no secret that this year our team had two turning points:

1 - the war in Ukraine seriously undermined the combat effectiveness of our team, as some members had to directly take part in it. This upset us very much, which forced us to take an operational pause in The Last Haven - it should be supervised by one person, from beginning to end.

2 - we started developing a new game. indeed, it was a responsible decision and we were preparing not only for the consequences and its success, but we also knew that the main forces would go to it. The Last Haven was supported by the developers until the summer, after which all forces were thrown at Total Conflict.

From now on, many of you may have doubts that this game is doomed. I hasten to please you, we are not abandoning our projects, by coincidence, we have found new forces and new faces in the team - the development of the game will continue and the game will be released soon, we are completing the beta testing of the project (we plan to meet within two months ).

The time has come to tell you what you so want to hear from us - what will happen next?

1) We fixed all the bugs you wrote about. The game has already been tested, we are tightening the main points in order to finally make sure that the system errors are gone.

2) We are introducing a number of new mechanics, adding the "electricity" system, which will be described in more detail in subsequent posts. A new settlement development system has been introduced into the game, which is the essence of the adoption of certain laws and dogmas, for points acquired during the passage of the game, which will affect certain characteristics and parameters of residents / buildings, and so on.

3) We are working on introducing new locations, vehicles, models. We really have been thinking for a long time about whether it is worth devoting a separate paragraph to new content (make an addition to the release from this), with its own separate plot and location. But that's in the future.

4) By popular demand, we are bringing the tutorial and story to the game, we are already working to finish writing the concept as a whole. The training will allow you to start your journey in the post-apocalyptic world in an affordable way, and hopefully correct the sad situation with negative reviews, which mainly consists of 70% of complaints about it.
The plot will not let you get bored and go astray. By the way, not one branch is planned, but a rather well-thought-out concept of the development of events, depending on the decisions you made earlier (you will be responsible for every killed pig)

5) We are resuming support for our resources, Discord is back up and running and will be back up and running to help players and discuss in-game moments. By the way, you can always submit your idea to the developers in order to see it in the game - we hear all of you.

We have yet to speak loudly about this, but we are considering the possibility of implementing a cooperative game and playing from mobile phones (on the PlayMarket and AppleStore platform)

Very soon we will meet with you again, with renewed vigor and in the new year we will finish what we started with you and your support!
