Jackbox Games have announced a release date of October 15th for The Jackbox Party Pack 7, their latest collection of daft multiplayer party games. It’ll bring back an old favourite with Quiplash 3, as well as debut four brand new games involving everything from giving rambling talks to drawing characters who battle each other. Jackbox has become a fairly frequent part of social cybernights during these lockdown days, so some fresh games (and fresh Quiplash prompts) sounds grand.

I may not know jack but I do at least know Jackbox Games are coming back with another Party Pack of local multiplayer party games. They recently announced The Jackbox Party Pack 6, which will bring a sequel to the Party Pack 3’s Trivia Murder Party along with something named Everybody Help Grandma plus more yet-to-be-announced games. I’ll a number of those games involve coming up with silly and rude answers in response to prompts then having everyone vote on the winner, which has worked pretty well so far.

The latest freebie from Epic Games in their attempt to demonstrate that there’s more to their new store than Fortnite is The Jackbox Party Pack, a brillo bundle of silly party games from the makers of You Don’t Know Jack. For the next fortnight, nab it and you’ll have it for keepsies on your Epic account. While Jackbox make the Party Pack games for people playing in the same room, everyone using phones or laptops or tablets to enter their answers and such through a website, you can also use screen sharing to play online while giggling with your cyberpals.

If you’ve never played any of the Jackbox games, Humble are offering you the chance to fix that for cheaps. You can pay what you want to get Fibbage XL and Quiplash in the Humble Jackbox Party Bundle, which will both reveal that your friends can be way funnier than you ever gave them credit for.

They’re party games that everyone plays via their phones, and while you’re supposed to play them in the same room you can make most of them work using remote screen sharing. If I were you though, I’d pay the $12/ 9.40 needed to pick up every Jackbox Party Pack apart from the latest one, then gather some friends together so you can play Fakin’ It. Fakin’ It is ace.

Every day is party day at Jackbox Games. They wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy, they grab their glasses then are out the door to commute through Chi-City, but before they leave they brush their teeth with a bottle of Jack because, as the song goes, when they leave for the day they ain’t coming back until 6-ish. After such a lively morning routine, they set about making fine party games like Fibbage and Quiplash. Over the weekend, Jackbox announced they have another instaparty coming this autumn, The Jackbox Party Pack 4 [official site]. It’ll bring Fibbage 3, among others. … [visit site to read more]

The gang behind ace quiz ’em up You Don’t Know Jack have launched another bundle of silly party games in The Jackbox Party Pack 3 [official site]. Along with a sequel to their Quiplash, Jackbox Games’ latest Party Pack contains four new multiplayer games with drawing, guessing, and generally trying to make everyone laugh. It’s a party, yeah? Put on a hat and smile, for goodness’ sake. While the Party Packs are intended for local multiplayer, they can also work remotely fairly easily through screen-sharing. … [visit site to read more]

“It’s like a virtual box containing all the entertainment you need for a party but the evening goes a bit awkward when someone keeps cracking boring ‘edgy’ jokes but look you’ll all have a load of fun but oh you do also need to provide your own booze and Twiglets.” You can put that quote on the box, Jackbox Games. Two Ns in O’Connor.

The folks behind You Don’t Know Jack have dropped another collection of party games of words, drawings, and noises, intended to be played with folks in the same room (but working fine online with screen sharing). It is unimaginatively named The Jackbox Party Pack 2 [official site].

You Don’t Know Jack makers Jackbox Games dropped a partybomb of fun to have with friends in The Jackbox Party Pack last year, collecting a load of phrase-drawing, question-answering, lie-telling party games. This week they released the follow-up, Quiplash [official site], a game about coming up with funny answers to prompts then voting on winners. That sounds a bit of a lark in itself, but it has the twist of being designed with streaming in mind, letting viewers join in and vote.
