Puzzle Agent

The sequel to Puzzle Agent, Telltale's quirky 2010 head-scratcher, is available for purchase on iPad, iPhone, Mac and PC from today.

Priced at £2.99 on iPhone, £3.99 on iPad and your regional equivalent of $9.99 on PC and Mac, it sees Agent Tethers return to snow-bound Scoggins, Minnesota to solve more Professor Layton-esque brainteasers.

This time round Telltale is promising an "expanded range of tactile puzzles".

The original won a well-deserved 8/10 on this very site. Take a look at Kristan Reed's Puzzle Agent review for more.

Tales of Monkey Island: Complete Season

Telltale Games' Tales of Monkey Island HD series is out now for iPad.

The first episode, which has been out since December last year, is free until 22nd July.

Episodes 2-5 are available for £3.99 per episode on the AppStore.

Tales of Monkey Island successfully spun a new adventure from one of the most cherished IPs in gaming's history. Eurogamer played all five episodes for a Tales of Monkey Island: Season 1 review.

The episodic series launched on PC and WiiWare back in 2009, before heading to PlayStation Network late last year.

Puzzle Agent

Puzzle Agent arrives on the US PlayStation Store on 19th April priced at $10, developer Telltale Games has announced.

It's been a long wait for Sony patrons following the quirky puzzler's initial June 2010 PC launch, but it's well worth investigating – Eurogamer's Kristan Reed awarded it a sturdy 8/10.

Telltale wouldn't lock down a European date, but you shouldn't have too long to wait. A post on the developer's blog promised an announcement was due soon.

As revealed earlier this year, a sequel is also in the works with a PC release planned for later this Spring.

Puzzle Agent

A sequel to 2010's Puzzle Agent is in the works, developer Telltale Games has announced.

According to IGN, the follow-up sees Agent Tether return to America's snow-bound Mid-West to solve more Professor Layton-esque riddles.

It will be available this summer on PC, PlayStation 3 and iOS devices.

That's fine by us - the original scored a sturdy 8/10 from Eurogamer. "With sharp writing paired with a charming if amateurish cast, Puzzle Agent's appeal is rough-hewn, but improbably cohesive," wrote Kristan Reed.

And that's not all Telltale has in the oven. As if this, The Walking Dead, King's Quest, Jurassic Park, Fables and Back to the Future weren't enough, the industrious studio has also added one further title to its slate.

It's teaming up with indie mob Straandlooper to bring its ace iPhone point and click adventure Hector: Badge of Carnage to PC, Mac and iPad. The first episode will launch in the Spring, with two more due later in the year.
