Bugfixes:

• Keyboard users only: Fixed an issue that would cause re-assigned keys to not work correctly in the fishing mini-game. Note: In order for the fix to work on an existing save, you need to reset the assigned keys to default and then re-assign them again.
  
• Steam Deck: Re-added a few settings that were missing on the Steam Deck version.
  
• Fixed an issue where the achievement “Many Different Faces” was not unlocking at the correct time.
  
• Fixed an issue where some sounds were playing when they should be muted.
  
• Fixed a few issues with controller rumble
  
• Minor fixes

Hey all, just a quick update on the Designworks!

There’s just a few days left to grab a copy of the Deluxe, signed edition of Sable: Design Works. This will be the definitive Sable art and making-of book, unmasking the creative process with extensive developer interviews and insight, as well as unearthing entire catalogues of new and never-before-seen art and imagery.

The funding campaign for the book ends on December 12th at 6PM GMT. While the standard edition will be available to purchase next year, the signed Deluxe, with its iconic red slipcase, Film Cell-style bookmark, and exclusive papercraft architecture created by model-maker Ellie Sampson, will have an extremely limited print run and is unlikely to be available outside of the strict, funding period.

Midden has so many captivating landscapes that sometimes we wish we could take them all with us. Well, say no more! We have prepared a set of new mobile wallpapers, for both Android and iOS. And we have more: We loved seeing your photos from our last contest so much that we've decided to run another one! This time, it will be focused on the new fishing update, released last week.

Welcome to our last post for this special Sable 1st anniversary week. We hope you enjoyed our updates, and today we've brought you more to read and get excited about!

There will be an update to all platforms later this year, including a new feature; fishing!
That's right; we're bringing fishing to Sable! Cast your reed into the dunes and see what weird and wonderful fishies lie beneath the sands.



Not only will you be catching fish, but you'll also show them off in your Vivarium! You can put your insects on display too. Once you've shown your skills in catching fish there may be a new Mask for you to wear. That's right, show off your talent for fishing with the all-new Angler Mask!

This update will also bring Japanese localization to Sable.

In collaboration with Shedworks comes Sable: Design Works, a 200 page celebration of this landmark adventure's art, architecture, and development. We are very happy to see our friends from Lost in Cult making this happen for Sable!

Happy Monday! It’s been a year since Sable was released, and we continue to appreciate your feedback and work on optimization where we can. We’ve heard so many heartwarming stories of your experiences playing our game, and we hope, during this Anniversary Week, that you’ll continue to share them with us.

• Fixed a bug that caused some world assets to be instantiated multiple times

• Reworked bird animations to reduce their impact on performance
