Just a hotfix, addressing a few bugs:

- voice chat randomly not working,
- survival mode: map should not restart when all players die in survival mode,
- PlayStation5®: missing grip options in the main menu,
- minor bugs

Hi survivors, release 1.1.1 is live!

Sorry for the delay... the porting of SURV1V3 to PlayStation®5 took longer than expected.
We are finally ready to launch 1.1.1 realse with one of the most requested features from you all: friendly-fire option! 👍

Friendly-fire
Are you scared of losing all your gear while exploring Santa Carla in survival mode? Are you tired of pranks from your teammates? 😑

Starting today, you can disable friendly fire from the game options menu 👍
Just go to the main map options board, enter the "game" section and change the option "Friendly Fire"

Before joining an online session, you can use your tactical tablet to verify if friendly fire is enabled. Simply check the session list in the "find a game" section. An icon will show the current session configuration.





PlayStation®5 cross-play
Yes, finally SURV1V3 is coming to PSVR2 on June 16.
The good news for all PC players is that PlayStation 5 and PC players will be able to play together 😍

By default, cross-platform multiplayer is enabled. To modify this setting, navigate to the main map options board, access the "game" section, and adjust the "Cross-platform" option.

What's new with survival season 3?

The haunted

New weapons
Survival rifle, double barrel shotgun, swat shield, survival baton, sunshine axe, ... weapons are never enough when the world goes south 💀



New skins
Rock never dies, inmate, dia de muertos... which skin will you choose? 🤑
and which weapon skin matches best?



Middle age is here!

- Santa Carla map: tablet map is not 100% in sync with city's shape
- Nowhere map: fixing fog color during daylight hours
- Nowhere map: a brain in a sink in a medical facility, towards the east middle of the map that can't be picked up

We are glad to announce the July release!
Still working hard on PlayStation porting, this release too is mainly focused on performance and scalability enhancements.
We're also fixing a few annoying crashes and all reported bugs, check the full changelog below!

Performance and scalability
More and more aspects of the game are linked to the graphics level setting, allowing a more customized experience (e.g. fog density/distance depends on graphics level, the higher the graphics level, the higher the fog distance, the less the fog density) 😍
We are also continuing to work on the optimisation of the game, with great benefits on both the CPU and GPU sides. 😉





Graphics
Many of you were not 100% satisfied with the red effect being too strong and intrusive.
We reduced the damage effect so players should be able to play comfortably to the death 😎
We also modified the death effect (let us know if you like it!) and added a background to the subtitles to reduce the nausea of some players.

Multiplayer enhancements
Enhancing the multiplayer experience is one of our top priorities!
With this release we're reintroducing the option to join a friend's session through the steam interface (check the image below) and we're finally releasing a net-code update that will greatly smooth client-side movements! 😍



Graphics
While working on PS porting we're also enhancing some non-core aspects of the game
This time we're adding new random loading screens with a progress bar 😎

Just a hotfix, addressing a few bugs (hoping this is the last hotfix for version 1.0.5, and looking forward to version 1.1.0 with survival season 3):

- SteamVR: SteamVR should not start when using Oculus headsets
- tablet map: green/white circles not visible client-side and safehouse state is not updated in real-time
- melee: zeds disappearing or not in sync while stabbed
- survival: crate color not in sync between host and clients
- menu map: culling too aggressive with low-level graphics setting
- nowhere map: pedestrian area with white floor

Just a hotfix, addressing a couple of bugs:

- joining a hosted session, the client randomly can't see the map
- To Protect and to Kill mission: trainyard gate should be open

ps: for those reporting an insta-crash, we're still investigating it, but it seems 100% related to steam overlay logic. As a workaround launch the game by choosing the second option from the steam pop-up shown at launch

Just a hotfix, addressing some crashes and 2 multiplayer issues:

- joining a hosted session, the client can lose his progress (reloading the game won't fix the issue)
- joining a hosted session, the client is not able to mount weapon accessories

For those missing their progress: you can get a working progress savegame file from a friend: just ask him to share the file PlayerProgressSave.sav located in %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Survive/Saved/SaveGames/{ReplaceWithYourPlatformID}
Overwrite the same file in your local folder.

Performance boost
We continue to work on performances.
This time we worked on many aspects bringing great benefit both on CPU and GPU side 😉
We also added a deeper scalability allowing users with low-end hardware to have great benefits changing graphics detail in option menu!

For new users, graphics detail will be set according hardware performance. 😍





Graphics
Moving to Unreal Engine 4.27 we also adding support for AMD FSR Support (beta) and upgrading DLSS support to versione 2.3.1 😎
For color blind users we are adding 3 color blind modes within the comfort section





Objects weight
Many of you asked for it to add more realism, now all big objects have some inertia when grabbed 😎
