-Game now attempts to determine the best host at the start of a multiplayer match, potentially leading to less latency in multiplayer.

-BETA: Enabled "gyro controls" setting in the controller options when playing with a Steam Controller. Note that this feature requires usage of the Steam beta client and that it's still in active development in the Steam client, which means that future updates to the Steam client could break it at any point.
-Added support for Valve Anti-Cheat, making it easier to ban cheaters from multiplayer
-Unlocked cheats* are now saved in the profile data and carried into new games, allowing you to use them from the very beginning.
-The game now uses a new multiplayer library which makes it possible for all versions of the game (Steam, GOG etc.) to player multiplayer together, potentially leading to a higher pool of players

-Added new "Hardcore" playlist - a playlist that was available in the original console versions for a short time where it was called "MLG Playlist"
-Added support for NVIDIA HIGHLIGHTS. Requires a compatible NVIDIA graphics card. After the game has recorded a highlight, you can find the NVIDIA HIGHLIGHTS button in the pause menu and in the main menu.
-Added a timeout when waiting for players to get ready at the start of a multiplayer match.
-Added a new "find game" option to multiplayer which lets you search for games manually. Games are created by entering either of the matchmaking modes or "custom game with party".
-Changed multiplayer distance filter to include more regions and thus more potential players.
-Lowered the requirements for multiplayer unlocks and multiplayer hidden challenges to make them more realistically achievable with the reduced multiplayer activity of the remaster.
-Overall improvements to matchmaking and multiplayer.
-Heal backpack slightly tweaked.
-Increased party size limit for some playlists.
-Save game importer should now unlock a number of multiplayer achievements on import.

Hello,

Over the last week we have release already a few updates for Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered. We will continue to do so. We are glad for every report.

Here is a summary of the changelogs so far:

Patch #1
- Fixed crash in rendering code (mainly when causing bigger explosions)
- Fixed: Refresh rate should be correctly shown in options menu
- Fixed: cheats should correctly be unlocked
- Game can now run faster than ~120 fps, depending on hardware
- Overlapped kill messages fixed
- MP teleporting should at least be greatly reduced
- Button prompts had broken trailing characters in some languages


Patch #2
- MP Teleporting should be fixed now
- MP Next Game Button shows up after a match if you play without party
- More diagnostic logging in order to find the cause of some of the crashes


Patch #3
-Multiplayer teleport bug should be fixed entirely now
-Fixed a number of different crash cases
-Fixed a problem with some controllers working unreliably under certain circumstances
-Game shutdown is faster now
-Added a "NEXT GAME" option to matchmaking
-Added an option to disable camera shake
-Added options to hide the different controller APIs (XInput, DInput, Steam Controller)
-Added missing names to the credits
-Added text to the title screen, indicating the currently active controls configuration

Players who already own the 2009 version of Red Faction: Guerrilla on Steam will automatically receive the Re-Mars-tered edition for free in their accounts.
